Mayeth was so welcoming, made me feel comfortable and was extremely light handed as she applied the lashes. I definitely fell asleep after a short talk with her. Unsanitary and shady practice. They will charge whatever they want after a service with them so be warned! I decided to try this place since it's close to my home and would be more convenient than my usual place in the city. First time I went, the tech was very sick and had her mask under her nose sniffling and breathing very close to my face for 2 hrs! It took 2 hrs for lashes a-- I've never had it take so long. I consider walking out bc I was really nervous it could be Covid but there was glue in my eyes already. I hoped it would be quick but it wasn't. After 2 weeks ALL of the lashes fell off. I purchased a Groupon which included a 2 week refill so I wasn't upset that it fell off so fast since the refill was included. Normally lashes stay on for me for 3 weeks. After my refill was done they told me I had to pay more because they had to fill in so many lashes in the refill. They were the ones that originally glued on the lashes but I had to pay more for it?! This place is a scam and really unprofessional. They should have told me from the beginning that they would charge more or put it in their Groupon terms. So this was my first time doing my lashes and I'm genuinely traumatized. I was really excited since I was going on vacation and I love the look of fuller lashes. Keep in mind I had naturally long lashes (12 inches roughly). To begin with, getting them done had some painful moments, I quite literally felt like it was surgery, but since it was my first time, i thought that's normal. So then when she was done, the lashes were uneven. Some were on my actually eyelid and some were hanging. She tried to brush it to curl up but that didn't work since it was drooping from my lid on my right eye. I figured it's no biggie she worked hard and I left. Once I got in the car I was still having a hard time seeing and my left eye was still burning, again figured this is a natural reaction. The next day the lash glue was so hard it was irritating my eye. It felt like super clumpy mascara that was dry on my eyes. I tried to ignore it as I was leaving on vacation that day. The entire time on vacation it was irritating me. Then when I asked my sister in law, who always gets them done, she mentioned that she's never felt any pain while getting her lashes done, she's never felt the actual glue on her lashes, and they've never bothered her. Okay so at this point I'm a little annoyed. Today when I tried to remove the lashes today due to how annoying they were and I have a wedding this weekend, I'm genuinely traumatized. I watched videos on rubbing oil so for thirty minutes straights I took a q too rubbed oil on the lashes but they were not coming off. I then took the oil between my index finger and thumb and rubbed my lashes for 30'minutes, some started to come off but I still feel the crunchy gel. Once I went to wash my face and rubbed my eyes the crunchy parts were getting stuck with my bottom lashes and started pulling my actual lashes and the extensions. My eyes are now super puffy and irritated, all the lashes have still not come off, I still feel the crunchy glu on my lashes and I have to be ready for a wedding by 10am in the morning and it is now 12:30am. This has been a traumatizing experience, I'm pretty sure my lash techs name was Jessica or maybe Jennifer, either way I'm pretty sure she was new because my niece also did it the same day as me right after and has had the same experience. Would not recommend her as a lash tech at all!!! read more

This place is exceptional! Cleanliness is on point. I have OCD tendencies and this place passed "my kind of clean." Everything is white with a touch of black and gold- which made the place feel roomy and giving out manhattan-ish kind of vibe. There are snacks and beverage that you can munch on while waiting. Went here for a facial and fell in love. Mind you, I hated facials- went once somewhere in astoria and I did not have a pleasant experience. But this place changed my mind. Heard good reviews from friends so I decided to give it a try. Mayeth (the technician) have very light hands. She is very professional and even suggested what is good for my skin. I fell asleep the whole time. I also had my very first lash extensions from them. I fell in love with the "I woke up like this" vibe. Mayeth was very detailed and made sure my eyes were poppin! Never spent money on stuff like this since I am very picky with people touching my face. But by the looks of it, imma start investing on myself more because I found a person I can trust. read more

Mayeth is very personable, gentle, and friendly to her customers. As soon as you come in you could see her sweet smile which will make you feel comfortable and at ease immediately. Ok so I came here for a couple raised bumps/skin tags REALLY close to my eyes and some on the rest of my face. I didn't know what to expect going in, but Maya saw WAY bumps/skin tags than I did. When I left I had little red scab like marks all over my face. Maya assured me this was normal and will disappear within a couple days. Sure enough she was right, my face a week and a few days later looks AMAZING!!!!!!!! Maya you're a magician with wand!!!!! They ended up charging me $30 extra, which is crazy but I was already there so I said whatever. The technician was speaking in Spanish and was uncertain she had the lashes. She was too busy editing the picture she took of me as she sitting behind me the whole time while giving me the facial, which was unsanitary. I will not be coming back. It's a waste of money.
