I initially spoke with someone in the shop name Tu who told me he would have a tech redo my heels and he scheduled an appointment for me. Several hours later he called back saying that Mary and her son that were there the day of my service basically lied and denied everything that transpired the day that I had my service. Mary was rude and unprofessional that day and I see she is a big liar. The management upholds the employees and also attributes their rude and unprofessional behavior as a misunderstanding of culture. I would advise not to use this business!

When he applied the polish he only put one coat on the white tips. Should have said something but I didn't (shame on me) so 50 dollars later and a 20 minute gel manicure I left. So now 1 week later my nails are breaking and tearing off left and right. I am not new to this. I have my nails done every 2 weeks at home and this never happens. The technician's "solution" was to just add glue after the nails were already done. Does not help! It's careless. There was no accountability, and no effort to truly listen. These nails are not worth $90 (Basic pink full set). I feel ripped off--both in time and money! Now I have to waste even more time getting them removed and hope I don't end up with more damage or another infection. I kept my cool during the appointment, but I walked out feeling completely unheard and taken advantage of. Never again! I still decided to get my nails done. I was promptly taken which was different since they were usually always busy. A pleasant woman did my nails but I found myself repeatedly requesting her to meticulously cleanse the residual polish from beneath my nails and skin even though she said she did it already. She has done it once but there was still a lot more under my Barrios and around my cuticles. She also commented on why I got the color white because it gets dirty fast. When she finished I examined my nails and noticed streaks and inconsistencies in the paint application, contributing to an overall subpar aesthetic. (Pictures of the white nails show her work.) While not the worst experience I've had at a nail salon, it certainly fell short of the standards that I had come to associate with this place. I won't be back again and hope to find the place Bao is now working at for my future visits. February 26, 2019: Anytime I go I always have a nice experience. I always ask for Bao.
