That stylist totally messed up my bangs too. I didn't know what to expect when I sat down in Genevieve chair. But She was super friendly. Asked me what I wanted, if there were any problem areas with My hair, told me what the last stylist did wrong, asks how i usually style my hair, informs me of What she's going to do before she does it, provided recommendations & stylist tips. She made me feel very comfortable. I've never had a stylist who would actually make conversation with me. The best part was she blew dry my hair and slowly trimmed my bangs. She kept asking me if it was okay and if I wanted it shorter. She didn't go scissor happy. I walked out of there without a tear. I had to start cutting my hair off a couple inches at a time to get rid of the damage. I'm so upset over this, I mentioned how important my hair was to me and how I used good products to care for it, used little to no heat and yet this still happened. I don't know if it was Ashley's technique or if she used poor and low quality products. No amounts of treatments, leave in conditioners, masks or oils have helped. It took me a while to even find this page so I could write a review about it. She was very rough with my head. I was in constant pain throughout the whole process. For reference my hair was longer than mid back and is naturally straight and even she said it was super healthy. It had some color toward the ends from two years prior but she cut that color off with the trim she did. I'm so disappointed in the result, next time I'll make the two hour drive to my old stylist.
