Let me be clear, even though she doesn't reopen closed wounds, her massage will still drain you through your lymphatic system aka you will pee! Plus it's really not sanitized or up to health code for massage therapist to open up wounds and deal with bodily fluid, so I'm happy that she keeps it that way. Her place is always clean and safe for her clients. The first time I went to her was around week 8-9 of my first BBL, I had went to someone before her and received horrible treatments. I wasn't given any manual massage at all, but more like wood therapy and RF treatment. When I saw Coco (and learned later on) that you're really not suppose to use wood therapy until at least 3 month post op. So I was swollen, weight is not going down, and waist is not getting smaller. I went to her everyday. She did magic with her hands for 60 mins! She is very gentle and never hurts you. At the beginning of my entire treatment, because how swollen I was, it hurt a little bit but still she was very considerate. After my 2 sets of massages (10 per set) I started doing the ice sculpting treatment with her. After my second round, I also went to her to get me right. She is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She always kept a positive attitude and gives a lot of good recommendations. Her services expands more than just manual lymphatic massage and ice sculpting. And her price is very reasonable. On top of that, she is ON TIME and never cancels! Only complaint is she doesn't live next door to me lol I would be there every day :)

I informed Melody that it was my first time having a facial, and she asked if I wanted her to talk through each of the steps she was going through or if I wanted total relaxation. Given it was my first time, I preferred to have Melody talk me through what was going on. Throughout the entire process, I felt relaxed and comfortable. Melody appears very well versed in what she's doing. Overall, I had a great experience. Of course, my face was a bit red afterwards from the extractions, but after a couple days my face was feeling and looking a lot better than before.

What reminded me to post it was another compliment on my beautiful skin that I just received from a total stranger while waiting in a doctor's office. I'm in my early 70's. I don't look it. Yah, some of that is genes but a lot is due to care. I *know* a good facial; I've had many over the years. Most are mediocre, or just adequate, or suffer from a poorly designed environment. The two times I found incredible estheticians, I saw each for years (until I couldn't bc of location/life changes), even though they were rather stern (imagine a brusque Russian affect ). Seeing how the shop is evolving is always so exciting, the interior is so flirty and pretty and I have always felt welcomed whenever I walk in. It's a very cute cat-themed shop with comfortable places to sit and books to read while you await your appointment. First of all, a 50% deposit is required in order to book the appointment. I had no problem with that but didn't realize until after that I had chosen the wrong date due to the date being so small in font. I received a confirmation that showed a date that was further out than I desired and wanted to cancel right away but there was no option to. I responded to the email, calendar invite, and sent a text all stating that I needed to cancel the appointment right away. At this point my appointment should have been cancelled and pending deposit charge should have been cancelled as well. It was not. Instead she responded argumentatively and told me that she would cancel but I had to wait (and so does my deposit) until the following week whenever she was back in salon. While the amount of those funds may seem trivial to some, to others they are not. For me this disconnection and the way it was handled is unprofessional and inconsiderate to the client. Doesn't really make me want to even give the service a chance.
