As I wanted to avoid the ER, I prayed IV Drips had a nurse available in Suffolk County today. I was immediately contacted right back that a nurse would be to my home within two hours. I was so relieved when Glenn pulled in and immediately began setting up my IV, taking my vitals and double checking my medications and medical conditions. Glenn quickly put me at ease with his wonderful bedside manner and even discussed with me possible treatments I may want to consider given my history and how sick I was feeling. Glenn was so caring, knowledgeable and empathetic that I truly felt blessed he was who IV Drips sent to me. Glenn administered my IV in no time at all; he was constantly checking on me during the IV and had a wonderful personality to be around as we waited for the IV to finish; he brought a very positive energy and hearing his experience I trusted him completely. I would not hesitate to call IV Drips again under any circumstance. I plan to request Glenn time and time again due to the fact he was such a caring, attentive nurse who actually knew my diagnoses and had the expertise to efficiently treat me medically and timely; as well as being a person I felt comfortable talking to and at ease with sitting and talking to as my IV Drip finished. I'm an IBD patient who has been getting biologic infusions since 2009, been using outpatient…read moreinfusion centers since 2019 after getting them at my doctor's office prior to that. Started going to Thrivewell in 2024 because my previous infusion center of 5 years stopped giving my medication so I was forced to find a new infusion center. Never in 17 years have I had as many issues with obtaining this medication in a timely manner as I have had with Thrivewell over the past year and a half. If, like me, you have health insurance where TPAs (third party administrators) are involved, good luck trying to get anything authorized in a timely manner. Whenever something changes or expires, they have no idea how to handle it and it becomes an entire stressful ordeal that takes weeks to resolve, and as a result I've ended up missing infusions that I need in order to function like a normal human being and not be in pain, which if you know anything about IBDs can be debilitating. The final straw was when they let my most recent authorization expire this past January and then proceeded to give me the run around for 2 MONTHS claiming that they couldn't get an authorization because they "weren't allowed" to create a username and password needed for the third party website that's used to get authorizations from my insurance company, then they were "back and forth" with my insurance, then they didn't know where or how to send the authorization request, then they were given the wrong fax number, then they don't know who to speak to, and THEN they said they sent it and expedited it but it was still pending after 2 weeks, etc etc, blah blah blah, excuse after excuse. Finally after I missed an infusion this month and my anxiety and rage were through the roof from 2 months of this nonsense, I had enough and decided I didn't want to be treated there anymore at all. Lo and behold, this other infusion center that I'm in the process of transferring care to had an authorization within ONE DAY and everything else taken care of by the end of the following day. So explain to me why this other place was able to do what they were supposed to do in 2 days with no issues and Thrivewell just sat there and continued to make excuses and not do anything properly for months to the point where my treatment was in jeopardy? Also I later came to find out that in the year and a half I treated with them they never even billed my insurance, but rather were just going through my copay assistance until the funds were depleted, because I never got any statements from Thrivewell (I'm not complaining but I know my medical benefits and what my out of pocket responsibilities are so it seems iffy) or EOBs from my insurance for these infusions, and I checked my claims online with my insurance company and not one of them went towards my infusions. Why the hell am I giving you my insurance information then? The copay assistance program is supposed to cover at least a portion if not all of my out of pocket costs after my insurance is billed, it's not supposed to be used to pay for the whole thing as if I had no insurance! These are EXPENSIVE meds and literally once those funds are depleted that's it for the year, and then I'm hit with a massive bill for my deductible in the middle of the year (when my first or second infusion of the calendar year should have knocked it out) for anything else I have to do medically. It's a shame because the Manhasset location itself and the staff there were very nice, but the back end is completely incompetent and shady and needs to be investigated. I work in a related field dealing with health insurance and if my company did this we'd be in big trouble. I don't and will never recommend this place to anyone who gets infusions. Vivo Infusion or Local Infusion are both wonderful, go to one of those if you can.

The message asks you to send more information via fax and provide permission for them to speak with your doctor, however when you call them (1) they claim to have no information on you- even though the can leave a voicemail with details you submitted online (2) refuse to confirm if they accept your insurance if they haven't already spoken with your private doctor- even if you are in possession of your labs and prescription. I spoke with a person who went by the name Kat C., who wanted personal health information but who isn't even in the United States. It is unclear to me if she worked for a subcontractor. Whatever is going on it clearly doesn't cut the mustard. You've been warned.

I have gone back and forth about writing this review, but after spending $5,400 on a procedure that completely dissolved and left me paying off a loan for results I no longer have, I feel other women deserve to know my experience. On October 9, I had a 600 mL BBL filler augmentation performed at IC Med Spa by Inna. I chose the largest package because I wanted long-lasting results. During my consultation, I was told the results would last about a year and a half, and that I could simply get a touch-up after that if I wanted to maintain my results. That expectation is what convinced me to move forward with such a significant financial commitment. Within just a few weeks, I noticed the volume rapidly disappearing. By November 17, I had already returned for a follow-up because I was so concerned. I showed Inna how much the filler had already dissolved, explained how unhappy I was, and I have photos and messages documenting those conversations. Instead of offering a solution that reflected the amount of money I had spent, I was told to wait. As time went on, the filler continued dissolving until it completely disappeared. When I reached out again, the only option offered was to pay for another procedure with only a small discount. After spending $5,400, I was expected to spend thousands more because the original results didn't last as I had expected based on my consultation. I was also advised to stop going to the gym and eat more so the filler would last longer. I followed that advice, gained weight, and still lost all of the filler. Now I have to work to lose the weight I gained while having none of the results I paid for. Instead of feeling more confident, my confidence has been shattered, and my plans for feeling confident this summer have been completely ruined. One of the most frustrating parts of this experience happened after I expressed my concerns. Shortly after I told Inna how disappointed I was with how quickly my results were disappearing, I saw a social media story explaining that clients come in three times a year to maintain their results. That was shocking because that was never explained to me before I paid. I agreed to this procedure because I was told my results would last around 18 months, with a touch-up after that--not that maintenance could involve multiple expensive treatments every year. If that information had been disclosed during my consultation, I would never have spent $5,400. I also specifically asked that my photos and videos not be used for marketing. Despite my request, they were still used. I believe potential clients deserve to see realistic expectations over time, not only the immediate after-results. What hurts the most is how my concerns were handled. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I had just spent thousands of dollars, trusted someone with my body, and returned within weeks because I was unhappy with how quickly my results were disappearing. Instead of feeling heard or supported, I felt dismissed. There was no complimentary correction offered, no meaningful effort to address my concerns, and no follow-up to make sure I was satisfied. I was simply told that if I wanted my results back, I would need to pay again. Women work incredibly hard for their money. We save, finance procedures, and trust professionals because these decisions are deeply personal. This wasn't a small cosmetic treatment--it was a $5,400 investment that I'm still paying off every month for something I no longer have. Looking back, I wish I had put that money toward a real surgical BBL or a mommy makeover instead. At least I would still have results to show for it. This review reflects my personal experience.
