The initial application was very thin, pale and did not even reach the end of my lash line.when I voiced my concerns, Nikki told me to wait 1-2 months for a touch-up. However, in less than two months, the liner has almost completely faded away. Given that the work didn't hold, I find it very frustrating that she charges an additional $150 fee for a touch-up. My friend got her eyebrows done by Nikki and they turned out so well that I had to change from my previous artist. The process to email and get a specific appointment for brows with Nikki was easy but she can get busy so make sure to plan ahead or expect a few weeks booked out. I sent Nikki pictures of my eyebrows for a correction and she accepted me for an appointment. I was able to book online through a specific link and pay a deposit online. On the day of my appointment, I waited outside the location in the parking lot until I was messaged that I could come in. (note: the Apple Maps directions led me to the corner of the major lights building, just follow the building numbers instead). The office was clean and Nikki made sure that I felt comfortable and talked me through her process. She let me lay down to look at my brows so she could make her best suggestions based on my preferences (how arched/curved and darkness/color). When we agreed on a way to start, she mapped out how my brows would be shaped with string, pigment on the string, and then with a pencil. She carefully measured to ensure similar shapes and had me do facial expressions to ensure the shapes would still look normal whenever my face muscles changed the curve of my skin. I felt she truly took a lot of time to make sure I liked the shape and respected my input. (My last artist didn't do this during my last touch up). The process itself was overall painless. Only minor discomfort during the initial outline. But I couldn't feel anything else during the rest of the time since a numbing cream was applied. After, she went over care instructions with me and noted it was also available in her website. (It's a little tricky to find but it's in there in the Appointment prep section) Healing took about as expected (7 days out of the 7-10 day range). I still have to do the 6 week touch up appointment but I'm very happy with my brows. I was able to prebook but Nikki is kind enough to send a reminder text regardless. I had my brows done decades ago and decided to go with ombre brows about 5 years ago. Nikki came highly recommended by my sister-in-law. My daughter and I have not regretted it. This review is long overdue. First time I met Nikki to get my brows done, she was soooo honest and sweet. She asked if I was happy with my shape because it was pretty straight and I told her I wish it wasn't as straight but I thought it was too late to change my shape. She did a bit of a removal for me for free because she wanted me to be completely happy and satisfied. I thought that was sweet of her cause most people would charge for that but she understands the pain of not having the shape and brows u want because she experienced that before. I love the way she did my brows. It was so natural and lasted wayyyy longer than all the work I ever had done. After I had my touch up, I actually got into a huge accident the next day that caused me to stay at a hospital and nursing home for a couple of months. I had 4 surgeries and was completely bed ridden. I really don't know where to start. I love Nikki and I love my brows so so much. I was always obsessed with trying to make my brows perfect. I would always pluck them to try to get the perfect arch but I sorta over plucked one day. It was devastating to see sparse my brows became. I reached out to Nikki about 2.5 years ago and it was the best decision I've ever made. Being a college student at the time, I thought the price of it was insane (still did it tho bc I was amazed by her work). Now that I'm working, I would pay double even triple to have my brows done by Nikki. She really takes the time to listen to what you want, whether that may be the shape, the color, the tone, the arch, etc. She leverages what you envision so perfectly. Nikki doesn't work on your brows in a one and go. She draws the outline, makes sure it fits your face shape and of course if you like them, applies numbing cream, and works on them until she feels that it is seamless. That really shows me that she not only cares about her work but genuinely cares about her clients. Getting ombré brows was always a little scary for me because I didn't want it to look fake. Rest assured, Nikki mentioned she always goes a little lighter the first time but it does fade out. By the time I came back for a touch up (~6 months later) I asked for it to be a little darker. The color will fade to perfection!! You don't need to get touch ups that soon or often but I just was obsessed LOL Honestly, this has saved me so much time. I used to wear a full face of makeup almost every day; but now, with my brows done, I roll out of bed every morning, apply some sunblock, and I'm off to work. I never feel the need to wear makeup anymore and it's crazy how a pair of ombré brows can really make me feel like I don't need the full lashes, foundation, or winged eyeliner. And if you're hesitant on the price point of getting ombré brows & touch ups - think about it this way, getting your brows done will last you years.. but getting brow pomade, brow wiz, brow gel, etc. will be an endless amount of money plus you gotta do it again EVERY single morning. We drove all the way from Las Vegas so you know Nikki is the real deal. Everything from booking to finish was smooth and easy. We found her through Instagram (@beautybynicsz) and through a referral. I had been contemplating microblading but saw her work and very much preferred the natural finish of her ombré tattoo technique to that of microblading. We booked our appointment a month in advance and received pre tattoo instructions... Which, FYI, includes no drinking alcohol or caffeine 2 days prior! Her office space is clean and she is so sweet and pleasant to work with. She really listens to you and is a perfectionist so you're in good hands! You must set aside at least 3 hours on your first booking. Mine actually took like 3.5 hours. It consists of: 1: Consultation on how you like your brows 2: Measuring and drawing an outline of the tattoo 3: Tattooing Process 4: Finishing corrections As far as the actual tattooing process, she uses a topical numbing cream, but I can't say that it's completely painless... However, it's completely doable. She gave us aftercare instructions, some aftercare cream and we're already booked for our 7-12week touch up. Chiming in with my ombré powder brow experience. As the others have stated, Nikki is a gentle perfectionist who explains every step and her method throughout the whole process. I was recommended to her by my sister who has gone to her for other services and whose fiancé also sees for a different service. I felt extremely at ease the entire session even though it was my first time with semi-perm makeup. She tends to go on the lighter side to see how your skin type will take it, and then adjust at the touch-up session. I also had a scar on my right eyebrow and Nikki's touch was gentle but firm. I've done microblading in the past and luckily she was able to take me in as her client and go over the previous work that was done. Nikki's services are GREAT. From booking an appointment to the actual treatment, everything was seamless. I've always been looking for ways to extend and add volume to my eyelashes. But knowing my lifestyle, I knew eyelash extensions just weren't for me. I'm suuuuper low maintenance. Hearing that the lash lift was low maintenance, easy, and natural, I was dying to give it a try. With my busy schedule, Nikki was so accommodating. She was able to do house-call and come to my apartment for a weekend appointment, which I really appreciated. She showed up on time and go to work on my lashes. Throughout the entire process, I felt like I was in good hands. She explained each step, was incredibly knowable, and knew what she was doing. The treatment itself was pain free, and lasted about an hour, pretty relaxing as all I did was lay there while she worked her magic. Okay so it's been 3-4 years since I had my (still, now) beautiful brows tattooed by Nikki, and they look as if I had just gotten them done! I just wanted to drop in and show everyone what an amazing job Nikki did and still continues to do! I've known her for a decade now and let me tell you...she is so detailed and OCD, which is actually perfect for someone who is going to put something on your face permanently. She doesn't mind taking the time to explain each step of the process and why she follows certain guidelines. In the past, I used to have short (in width) eyebrows with thin and sparse hairs that go whichever direction they feel like going. It was a hassle having to draw them in every day, and because I have very oily skin, they'd come off within several hours. It was awful. When I explained to Nikki what I was looking for, I noticed that she truly understands facial structures and what kind of shape would compliment your face/eyes (because everyone has very structures unique to their face). She will always cater to what YOU LIKE and what YOU WANT with the addition of her expert advice. Like I said, Nikki is very detail-oriented AND efficient. She won't start treatment until YOU ARE SATISFIED with the shape/contour. I would consider myself to have a low-to-medium pain threshold, but with the numbing cream, it was definitely bearable. If necessary, Nikki would allow me to take breaks if I couldn't stand the pain (but this rarely occurred). I can't stress how many compliments I have and continue to receive about my brows, and how even and natural they look! I am so happy with the outcome, even years later! I have been debating whether or not I should try eyelash extensions and thank god, my girlfriend introduced me to the lash lift concept and referred me to Nikki! Nikki is super sweet and thorough! I received ombre powder brow services from Nikki. It was my first time ever doing any type of eyebrow tattooing so I was a bit nervous and had no idea what to expect. I loved how Nikki walked me through the entire process to make sure I felt comfortable. I felt so at ease and safe in her hands! First, we shaped my brows to my liking. I can tell she's a perfectionist because she spent about an hour or so meticulously shaping my brows. You want that quality in someone who will be putting a semi-permanent tattoo on your face. Crooked or lopsided brows are not cute. After shaping, she swatched my hair to find an eyebrow color that would complement my skin and face. Before we began the tattooing, she put numbing cream on my brows. I liked how she asked me frequently if it was painful, if i needed to take a break or if I needed more numbing cream. My eyelashes have always been a huge insecurity of mine because of how sparse and dainty they are. I took a lip blush collab training with Nikki in December 2022. Finding an experienced and passionate artist/trainer is hard but the moment I met Nikki I knew I was in good hands. Besides being an amazing artist, she is soft-spoken, and was very patient with me as a new lip artist. I couldn't be any more satisfied and confident finishing the three day training. The best part is a premium kit was included and I immediately started taking clients! A quality training is bringing quality results and it's a great feeling when clients leave my studio happy and satisfied with their new lips. SO. CONVENIENT. As a girl that does not pay attention to beauty that much, tattoo eyebrows are a god send. I literally look like I have make up on just because of my eyebrows. They do frame your face! At first I was hesitant to get them done because the procedure is semi-permanent and the obvious fear of pain but as soon as Nikki started drawing my eyebrows and working with me to get the shape that I want, I knew I was in good hands. I actually fell asleep during the procedure! (Both on the initial and the follow up appt). Granted, I tend to fall asleep easily but still! It takes about a couple of weeks to heal and you can't get them wet in those two weeks but it goes by fast. I still went to social engagements and just explained that my Frieda eyebrows were temporary until the swelling went away. They were actually a great conversation starter It's been a couple of months now and my eyebrow game is still strong. I absolutely adore them.
