During my service, we made an instant connection as she too was in Hawaii for a while. She is very personable and ensured comfort. I usually do a poor job of keeping still for my appointments, but she did a wonderful job of letting me know that she was totally fine of me taking breaks to stretch, in which I didn't need to. When I moved to Indiana I did major research to find a lash artist that did russian volume. I am always very picky about who I chose to make me look and feel great, from hair, nails and now lashes. I did my research and the only person I felt most comfortable with and trusted was Maria. First off she's passionate about what she's doing and you can tell it makes her feel good when you feel good about her work. Second, her work speaks volumes (pun intended). Lash retention is an important factor and I had to go a bit longer than usual in between fills my first time getting it done with her, and it was GREAT. Third, in order for me to have retained my lashes for this long was also due to her educating me on how to care for them! All this aligns with someone who is going to take care of you and knows what they are doing. I used to get super long lashes and my lash girls never REALLY told me the importance of caring for them and how to do so until Maria. We discussed the best length and curl for my eyes and health of my lashes, in the end I am 10x more satisfied because she took the time to walk me through it and help me understand. Lastly, outside of being a passionate and knowledgable person about lashes, she is also a wonderful, vibrant and ambitious woman! If I am going to have to lay there for 3 hours, I couldn't have a chosen a better person to do it with. PS. We booked appointments for event makeup with Bailey for two of us on a Friday for rehearsal dinner in the evening. The space is pristine and comfortable. Another client was getting lashes during our visit and was a regular client that you could tell adored the twins. Bailey killed it with our makeup. She asked what we both wanted and made suggestions that she thought would be best for skin tone, eye color, etc. I was impressed by Bailey's demeanor, confidence/expertise, and experience. They also use high end products for makeup and carry one of my favorite skincare lines, SkinBetter Science. Highly recommend. I don't live in the area, but my friend will be back to check out their skin treatments.

She was sick so that's fine, you can't control that. But what is infuriating was that I was never contacted to get my appointment rescheduled. I reached out multiple times and never got a response on rescheduling my appointment. You can't even leave a voicemail at the salon when they never answer their phone because the voicemail box isn't set up. Also very frustrating because I was trying to get my lashes done before going on vacation. I plan on going somewhere else to get my lashes done, I don't appreciate the lack of communication. There are plenty of other lash salons in the area, I wouldn't bother with going here.
