Oh my God...This is the Biggest Beauty supply store I have Ever Been too..I do Hair & I like to do my hair alot also. I was like a little kid in the candy store at this place. Whoa this store is huge! The customer service was a little weak but I won't take a star away because we went in 15min before closing. This was my first time buying or even trying on a wig and I wanted them to walk me through it but they were so ready to leave it was a scramble. I grabbed a wig without trying it on and prayed that it worked (I was headed to the club) and it did. So in conclusion this is the beauty store Mecca and I got a great wig for $25. FYI: One of the associates informed me that they do not have everything that is sold on their online store and that they carry items that are not sold online. My cousin was looking for a "Free Tress" half wig and they do not carry the line but the website does. If you are looking for a particular line of wigs you should call first and see if they carry it or buy it online if they don't. read more

I have been near here many times but never shopped here. i am getting my hair braided and the type of hair the stylist uses is only sold here so that's how i ended up here. I see a lot of complaints on others reviews, but i came in when it was almost time to close so maybe that's why it was so quiet. Everyone spoke when i walked in. i did ask the cashier where would i find my hair at and he pointed to the corner where to go. I was actually looking for help, but when i got to where the cashier pointed no one was there. it was ok tho bc soon as i walked back i peeped the hair i needed. Very quiet and clean inside. but again i came in around 8 and they close at 830. this store is HUGGEEE... with ANY hair product you can think of they have it. If interested in hair store clothing they also have a whole sections with clothes, jewelry, make up, etc. If i'm in the area i'll def be back. read more

This is my least favorite Beauty Master location. I choose to shop here if I decide to run my beauty supply store errand on the way home from work. It's conveniently located right off of US 166, and much easier to get to than the Headland Dr. (which is literally across the street) and Camp Creek locations. The service on the floor here is lackluster. That may even be sugarcoating it. During a visit about a year ago, I asked for the restroom and was told it was out of order. Ok, understood. I did see that there was an "out of order" sign on the door. And thankfully, there are restrooms in the mall food court within about a five minute walk. Well, a year and some change later that "out of order" sign is still on the restroom door here at Beauty Master. Can the responsible parties not invest in bathroom repairs as a convenience to their customers? I doubt that's the case. They'd rather not deal with providing this basic service to customers who come in and spend a significant amount of time trying on wigs, deciding on hair colors, and browsing makeup and accessories - many with small children in tow. I stopped in last week (again, only because I was in the area). I looked around the store hoping and praying to find a particular style of hat that I had in mind and needed to wear within about four hours. After about ten minutes, lo and behold - I spot a hat that fit my vision! Only, it was off-white and I needed white. It was the only hat on the shelf, so I figured it was likely misplaced and surely there were others of its kind in different colors. I stopped an associate who just happened to be coming from the back room and asked if there were any more. She replied "no, that's the only one" and walked away. I thought hmm, so strange that she could give such an answer so quickly. I dropped the hat back in its (obviously) misplaced location and continued browsing the store in disappointment. Maybe there was another style headpiece in white that I could get instead? Not at all. In fact, after about five minutes of my bummed out browsing, guess what I happened upon?! A half table full of the exact hat that I asked about in an array of colors!!!! I was instantly gratified that there were indeed white ones to choose from. Do you think the associate, with access to the back room, had no idea there were in fact about 25 of the hats in the store? That's probably about as likely as the restroom really being out of order for over a year. What I can compliment about this store are the cashiers and the associates in the wig department. They are polite, pleasant, and patient. If you're ever here browsing wigs, check out the inspirational messages posted near the mirrors :) Also, the store is kept clean and generally all the merchandise is neatly organized (re: one out of place off-white hat). Typically I'm in Beauty Master shopping for Marley Braid hair extensions for kinky twists. I can always find enough packs (4-8 depending on the length that I'm getting) in a color that I like here. I'll continue to shop at this location when it's convenient, keeping in mind that floor service and customer convenience is not a priority. read more

The first time I walked in this store I almost passed out! Four years ago I moved back home to California and we have no Sista beauty supply stores (that's what I call them). The closest thing we have is Sally's . New to Atlanta but not the south I was happy to have found this store but had no idea of the magnitude of this store when I walked in. This place is a joke. I've been buying wigs from here for many years. Never have I been told that I can ONLY try on 3 wigs AND THAT'S IT!!! If you don't find one out of those 3 wigs you will have to buy one without trying it on. This is the Chinese lady New policy. As I was shopping one of the employee's said she has to use the bathroom, the owner said go to Wendy's next door, the employee said why can't we use your bathroom and Wendy's is not open yet, the owner said they open at 11(a.m.) wait then go to Wendy's. (It was about 10:40 a.m.). After the owner lady walked away from the area as there were a few employee's were standing where they were talking. I went to confirm Just know spending your money there, you are supporting this disgusting treatment. I did express to the owner how bad it is to send your employees to a restaurant to use the restroom, while you have a restroom, because you don't want them to use it. I was having a hard time finding 24in hair weft extensions and of course they had them even in the color I needed and for an amazing price! Better than all the other beauty stores I've been to. A lady came up to me and helped me get everything else I needed for maintaining the weave and was very friendly. I did go around noon Friday so they were practically empty. Umm this place gets 10 stars simply for it's existence! I luv to play with hair, makeup, and accesories. It is all here under one roof and I LOVE them for it. One should alwayz grab the sale paper they have as you walk in b/c you will find their best deals inside. For example they have this flat iron package that has 2 inside for around $20 and you get another 2 for free. All their wigs were 30% off last weekend as well. Their cosmetics are awesome, I luv NYX and Kleincolor b/c they have good pigmentation and payoff. They carry this for cheaper than Ulta many times. HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called ahead for a wig, they advised me they had it available, I drove over 30 MINUTES TO GET IT, arrived just under 10 mins to closing, they'd locked the doors early, and REFUSED TO ALLOW ME IN TO GET THE WIG! The security guard went and shared these same details with the manager Joy and she still said NO! When I called ahead it took a very long time to get the information, as whoever answered had several other conversations happening at the same time. Wow. And when I asked her to check another wig she told me she had a line and other calls coming in. WOW! I still came to the store because I had an early flight and needed it for that trip. I came here after reading reviews to this place. It's AMAZING! I spent almost 3 hours in here looking at everything! They are conveniently located on the side of Greenbriar mall. They have tons of selections of weaves and wigs. I don't wear either but since they have everything for everyone I was happy. They have a big children's selection in the back too. They have tons of accessories and nail products. I was able to find everything I needed for my next relaxer and found amazing colors for my nail polish collection. They even have NYX products! I love nyx cosmetics. Everyone was helpful, and if I had a question it was easy to find someone who could help me. Everything is reasonably priced and I would def. make this my regular beauty spot. read more

This is the biggest beauty supply store in the area with a wide variety of beauty products. Customer service is poor though. The young lady in the wig area is NOT knowledgeable about anything.
