So I get enough energy to hobble inside to the store only to find they're "having technical difficulties" and won't be open anytime soon. I tap on the door, hoping to get some insight from the wandering employee inside. She slowly walks towards the door and I explain that I'm only here for an online pickup. She stares blankly and offers nothing. I'm just short of crying from frustration when I find a chair to sit in right outside the store so I can rest my Cam boot, which is already aching from the short walk. The same employee opens the door and tells me they'll be open in 20-30 minutes. They finally open and of course the online order part of the store has no one in it- shocker! So another "perky" employee says "oh, yeah, go to the front register." Great. I get there and it's the same employee that didn't help me initially. I give her my name and all I get is attitude, eye rolling, the whole nine. She barrages me with a series of ridiculous questions, all of which I answer. I'm losing my patience as I look around the store. Same employee then asks me for my ID. Um, ya think you could have done that to begin with? All of the bonnets were neatly wrapped in plastic except for one . I was Interested in buying this particular bonnet because of the design and style however , this particular bonnet was not wrapped up in plastic and you could tell that someone had tried on the bonnet . It was the last bonnet with the color and design that I was interested in buying . I asked the owner if she could give me five percent off and explained my reasons and concerns why because the bonnet was already worn and used .The owner refused to . Then I asked her if I could get at least two percent off and she told me no .Due to covid 19 going on , we must be aware , cautious , and follow the safety / producers in order for us to be in a safe environment. I also noticed that the owner did not have any particular social distance signs ,did not follow the procedures of the social distance 6 feet, and did not follow the procedures for covid 19 . As a customer who often shops here a lot. I am highly disappointed to be treated this way and believe that this incident should be made an aware of . He contacted the High street location and informed them I was on my way at 1:16. I asked if they would be open and he stated I could get my medication if I got there before 1:30 because that's when they take their break. I got to High street Walgreens at 1:27 and saw the windows closed and the last tech leaving. If the hours are posted for the public at 1:30 why is it closed before? So I rushed following the advice of Toby from this Walgreens only to be made to wait anyway. Just awful. Why do they not let customers know if they cannot fill the prescription or when it is ready? They rarely answer the phone which I attempted calling back to back for hours. It's a goose chase. I already don't like taking medication but should not be sent on a scavenger hunt to get a common prescription filled.

Neither one of us had any candle making experience so I was excited to see how the process worked. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by early 90s Hip-Hop being played by a DJ which we thoroughly enjoyed. Once we made our inside, we were greeted by the owner of Ambyance Fragrances, Robert, who taught us everything we needed to know about our sense of smell and how amazing his soy candles were. We were given about 30 fragrance samples to smell before deciding on about 2-3 to add to our candle. Once we added our customized fragrance to the candle wax, we then added some dried flowers for decoration and selected the color we wanted for our candle. Since it took about 45 mins for our candles to set, we were able to enjoy the bar and grab a bite to eat from their limited menu while we waited. We also walked around and viewed the books on display as well. Overall, our candles turned out absolutely amazing and smelled wonderful! Robert has been in the candle making business for years and his candles are top tier. He is so inspiring and you can tell he puts his all into his art of candle and oil making.
