On multiple occasions, I've arrived for scheduled appointments and still waited 15 minutes or longer to be seen. This past weekend, I visited again after receiving a gift card for a pedicure. During my appointment, the nail technician repeatedly pressured me to upgrade to a more expensive pedicure, although I chose the $65 option. While receiving the pedicure, I also noticed the floors appeared dirty. During the service, the technician told me I had an ingrown toenail and proceeded to dig into my big toe. Unfortunately, I woke up today with significant swelling, redness, and what appears to be an infection. I am now going to urgent care to receive antibiotics because the pain is severe. I believe this may be related to poor sanitation and cleanliness practices at the salon.

I really wanted to like this spot as it was my first time but I've NEVER paid that amount for a basic pedi with gel including an acrylic overlay on the big toes (must I add, I've done this at multiple other locations). This was not worth $73 and I will not be returning. Edit 5/18/24 10:43am: I'd like to add- the business just responded as we all see below and stated I messaged them previously. The only contact I made with them prior to my appointment was a phone call earlier in the day to set up the appointment for the pedi. From there, the only price "breakdown" given, was when they gave me a laminated sheet at the foot bath showing me the different pedicure price options. There was no communication regarding the additional $20 to add the acrylic overlay to 2 toes. The response to my review is also the first time I'm hearing of this $20 charge for the acrylic. Which, might I add, $20 for two toes is absurd. Now in regards to the "elementary" math. She explained how to care for my lashes, what would be required in terms of a next visit and while the procedure took a little longer than expected it was an amazing result. I returned last night for a different procedure. This time it was for a lash lift and tint, shorter in time and different but Karina was still great. She made sure that the results would speak for themselves and that everything was done right. The owner was very sweet and remembered me and made a point to say hello. A super pretty, very girlie (yes I love it) place to get some pampering done. Hoping to be able to try some of their spa services soon. This place is coming along nicely, give it a shot!

My old salon, Cherry Lash Lounge, was the best. I would go in, sit in my comfy chair and fall asleep. The process was easy and painless. Scarletts has a lot going for it. The salon is nice and clean, but I miss those comfy recliners from Cherry. My back was killing me laying on that flat table and it was cold. 30 minutes in, I was done. The glue they use here is super strong. My eyes were watering for a while from the sting. That has never happened to me before. The tape they use is also kind of tough to get off. Again, I never had this issue before. The lashes themselves looked good when Karina was done, but the irritation lasted for a few days where my eyes would just water. I want to give this place another shot because so far I've lost minimal lashes in 2 weeks. But I'm not sure I can overlook everything it took to get here. My advice, get comfy recliners and blankets for clients with 2 hour appointments. A different glue would have me giving this review way higher marks. The burning is no good. *****UPDATE****** I decided to give Scarlett's Lash Lounge another shot and I'm glad I did. Karina and I talked about the issues I had with my lashes and found a solution for the tape and the burning. The table is still, not my favorite, but Karina does a great job so I'm willing to just put a pillow under my back (I would still suggest investing in a recliner. It's the best) My lashes are great, comfortable and easy to maintain. I've been back twice since my initial visit and I'm a faithful customer at this point.
