First of all, this place is cool and quiet. It's quaint and well maintained. It's just off the beaten path and Carol who works in the front office is just the most accommodating person ever! Small hole in the wall..... Great big under rated gem! Quick drive to all the places to see in the area. No frills but gets the job done. Room was very spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is mainly starch but it's more than you get other places for the price. It was busy each of the 5 nights we stayed. Walls can be thin...we could hear our neighbor snoring. Didn't bother us as we just turned on the AC. Not much to do in the town but again you're close enough to everything else in the area. If you're looking for something to eat check out the Outpost, small bar/restaurant that serves GREAT CHICKEN! All in all if you're looking for a place to lay your head and don't require the frills of high end, this is the place for you. read more

Staying at the Beaver Creek Inn was a wonderful experience! The women working the front desk were nice, helpful and gave us great tips about Sedona, which was about 30 minutes away. The room had everything we needed (mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker). I typically skip continental breakfast but enjoyed a blueberry bagel with options of jams, cheese creme, and fruit. They also had many cereal options, different pastries, coffee, and juice. They had items for sale at great prices, like ramen and popcorn, among many other options. The popcorn was 50 cents. I also liked that they had dvds for guests to borrow and watch in their room. They did have cable tv and I believe they might have even had some streaming services. I think my favorite part was the overhead heat lamp in the bathroom. I would 1000% stay here again! read more

We found the inn while looking for an affordable place to stay while visiting the Sedona/Oak Creek Canyon area. The price was phenomenal, the staff was warm, friendly, and the amenities were generous. Hey, they even had an HDMI switcher with an open female port for hooking up your laptop or Roku to the TV. The gentleman who greeted us at the front desk took us on a personal tour of the facility, showing us the dining area, where they had a wide variety of free and for pay snacks, which you paid for on the honor system. Overall, we felt that what we got was well worth every penny spent and then some. It's close to many wondrous, beautiful sites. We would highly recommend staying here!! read more

This was a wonderful place to stay while we explored the Montezuma Parks and Sedona. Very affordable compared to the Sedona locations. Staff was very friendly and attentive and did a tour of the property at check in. Room was clean and was nice to have a patio area to enjoy in the nice weather. We stayed here while visiting Sedona for the week. We arrived quite early from our flight and they were very kind and accommodating to our early check in need. Callie (unsure of the spelling) was the kindest and most friendly person to greet us & showed us all around the property and gave us the in's and outs. They provide a wide variety of snacks and meal things that you can purchase for a very low price which was greatly appreciated since there are no near by grocery stores and the stores in Sedona are pricey. They also have a huge selection of DVDs and the DVD player in your room that is available to you which is so so cool. The rooms are nice & standard what you would expect at an inn, they were very clean and had everything you would need such as a microwave and fridge. You can tell they put a lot of time and effort into cleaning the rooms. The only downside I would say is the showers, the water temperature tends to change without prompt and the water pressure is a little soft, but nothing to really complain about. It's what you would expect from an older multi-room building. Aside from that we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. You can really tell that the owners and employees really care about their guests. read more

STAY AWAY. Worst hotel experience ever and my family travels a lot. If anyone cares about their health this is not the place to stay. The chemicals that they use to clean the rooms are unbearable. In 5 minutes of checking into the room my nose was running, I broke out into hives and started turning red. The hotel refused to refund the room that we booked for 3 days. I don't care that they normally use these cleaners. It was a health issue for me. By the time front desk called the owner my nose stopped running and I could breathe normally. Unrelated to the big issue, just know that they will charge you additionally for your children upon checking in if you book through a travel site even though the hotel policy states kids under 10 are free of charge. read more

When I contacted this Inn, they said they were 10 minutes away from Sedona. That is incorrect. At least 35mins. Is Rimrock really a 'town'....???? hmmmm not sure. The Inn was pretty nice on the outside, besides the lawn or should I say clover needed to be mowed. The one younger lady working was really helpful and pleasant. The other lady was a bit condescending. The room was nice and spacious. However when we opened the door it smelled like a hospital. Had to open the slider and front door to get the smell out. The bed was comfy but sheets were worn and scratchy. EXTREMELY noisy. For such a small 'town' The Inn sits right on the main road and it's loud! The a/c was also very loud and did not really work well and it was only in the 80's while we were there. They also advertise a 'continental breakfast'... not really. Dry cereal and milk, toast. We booked this hotel for a 3 night stay during St. Patrick's day weekend. We stayed in a two bedroom with kitchenette. The two beds are in the same room and the room is equipped with a tv, desk, mini fridge, and full bathroom. The living area also has a tv and a full kitchen including fridge and freezer BUT NO MICROWAVE. There are salt and pepper shakers available as well as different kinds of spices. The tv also comes with an attached DVD player however, the DVD player wasn't working. There is also a hospitality room filled with snacks, movies, and games! The snacks are for sale based on the honor system. Pretty much you pick what you want and you leave the money for the items there on a little tray. There are many DVDs to choose from and it's free to borrow. The games are there to borrow as well. I enjoyed playing charades and Clue! Breakfast is provided in the morning and is also based on the honor system. The room overall is spacious enough and pretty cozy. The bed wasn't as comfortable and the pillows are very thin. There is a patio outside your glass door and overall this hotel is not too shabby! The staff are friendly people. I wouldn't mind staying here again. read more

I can't believe that I've never found this gem in my Camp Verde, Cottonwood, Sedona hotel searches all these years. Lucky me this time. This small boutique hotel has all the things you want and more at what was the best price for prime weekend nights. With only 2 stories and 22 rooms, it is quiet and neat as a pin. Parking was more than ample. We enjoyed the hospitality room which was a study in orderly display of many treats. We Loved that they served free coffee made with my wife's favorite BUNN brand coffee maker. Being diabetic I was disappointed that my only alternative sweetener choice was stevia which I find metallic and harsh. A little sucralose or other would be nice. A high protein low carb option would make the continental breakfast selection more appropriate for me. We loved our large well appointed 1st floor double queen room with a mini fridge, microwave and lovely kitschy western décor with tons of towels. The western theme extended to cozy cute seating in the open areas near the rooms and office. Due to record heat in Arizona during our stay the AC got a heck of a workout but kept us cool. The elevation is around 3500 feet. I can't say enough about all the staff being earnestly friendly and helpful. Limited office hours can be helped if you arrange a late check in or some other adjustment ahead of time. located a block from Beaver Creek, the nearby surroundings were more lush and green than I expected after many trips to Montezuma's Well and Bell Canyon Trail (both very nearby). It was a quick drive to Sedona and Camp Verde for our day trip and dinner with friends from Prescott. Oh, and gas was cheaper than Phoenix by 55 cents at the two nearby stations. We will be back to enjoy cooler weather. read more

The Beaver Creek Inn & Suites is within striking distance of Sedona, but the really pleasant surprise was that it is only a mile or so away from Montezuma Well, a really special cultural, historical, and geological site that does not seem to get the attention it deserves. read more

It is a quaint little Inn. Beautiful scenery, quiet, very relaxing, friendly people, very nice rooms and woodsy. We wanted to stay a little longer and the reservation was going to have us change rooms, the girls in the office worked out out so we didn't need to change rooms. My absolute favorite place. People who complain here that "its in the middle of nowhere", or "ac wasn't working well", or "too scary" are just simply spoiled. If you have a sense of adventure in you, you'd be impressed by this place. It's so old-school and authentic, surrounded by amazing nature, with deer in your backyard. There's a couple of local spots around to order food from and a gas station with a convenience store. Beaver Creek offers a great variety of snacks and DVD's (which is awesome), and their breakfast is great. I would choose this place every time over Hilton or other luxury hotels in the area. We stayed in a room on the ground floor and it was extremely annoying to hear our upstairs neighbors stomping about, flushing toilets, turning on faucets, and watching TV. I live in an apartment and I don't have anywhere near as much noise from neighbors. And frustratingly enough they have their Inn listed as if it's in Sedona when it's actually 30 miles away. I admit I did not double check the address to ensure it was in fact in a surrounding area near Sedona but then again who would falsely advertise their location? However, it's very cute and charming and the staff are extremely friendly. I would stay here again just not on the ground floor. read more

So I didn't book early enough for a Holiday weekend trip and the Beaver Creek Inn had a room available close enough where we were going. The booking process was quick and easy. Although I read some of the reviews we thought the images of the rooms looked nice. I work at nights so we left for our trip with a few hours of sleep and made it to the Inn before 2:00 p.m. Yes, the office really doesn't open until then. If you book this Inn just be aware so you're not disappointed . We were pleasantly surprised by the room and the size. A double queen room was all that was available but it was a generous size , clean and comfy. The southwestern decor was a nice touch and there was a mini fridge. Although there isn't cable tv at this establishment (only tv by antenna) there are dvd's available in the hospitality room downstairs. There is a continental breakfast in the morning but we got up late so we didn't try it out ,but it is available. There was an issue with the toilet but that was quickly resolved. The parking area was close to our room. Since it was a holiday weekend we found the manager barbequing hamburgers and hotdogs with the fixings and drinks for the guests. A nice touch :) Too be honest ,we arrived a bit grouchy due to lack of sleep but we were greeted pleasantly by the manager and the housekeeping staff as well. The rates are reasonable and the Beaver Creek Inn is off the beaten path but we enjoyed the peace and quiet . read more

This is way, way off the beaten path. The road basically ends just past this hotel, and the only way back to the freeway is backtracking. There is only one place to eat, and its a few miles away, and closes at 8pm, so eat early. Also no grocery stores for miles, except a mini mart about 10 minutes away. Bring what you want, because you cant go get anything. There are homes directly all around the hotel, which is strange as there is plenty of open land in that area. The staff is fairly friendly, but the office is completely not staffed after 7pm, until sometime the next morning. If your neighbors are being rowdy, or you need anything at all, there is n oone to help you. You are on your own.. The rooms are clean, and nice sized. Also Pet friendly, but make sure to ask for a pet friendly room on the bottom level. The "free breakfast" is a cold cereal, warm milk, bad coffee and granola bar type. And it's an honor system, so get there early or everything will be gone... We were told they had cable tv, and when we went to the office to complain that zero tv channels came in, they said its basic cable, so we wont get many channels. Then on the 2nd complaint, they told us to try to move the antenna on the top of the tv. Which was broken. So, we didn't appreciate being lied to. We had planned on watching the World cup game. They referred us to their free dvd library, which has many movies, but nothing worth watching. They also supply a few board games, and several decks of partly complete cards. Again, bring your food, and entertainment with you. If you are going to the well, the river, or just need a place to sleep on the way to a real town, then its a bargain at $65 a night. However don't expect a quiet out of town getaway.. read more

For a fair price, you get SO MUCH- comfortable and spacious rooms- complete with fridge, microwave & toaster oven, a nice variety of complimentary breakfast items, a huge selection of DVDs to watch in your room, and an incredible staff. The manager, Michelle, is wonderful and so hospitable. She made us feel welcomed and like family. The Inn is super close to Montezuma's castle, well and Tuzigoot. Only a short drive from Sedona and Cottonwood. We can't wait to stay here again on our next trip to AZ! read more

The location was great and in a quiet neighborhood. You get what you pay for in quality. The bed was pretty hard, the shower/bathroom was not clean and all sinks slow to drain. The worst part was not their fault, but you could hear the upstairs neighbor's every step, as if they were stomping!! This lasted until very late in the night and started again in the early morning on both nights. Not ideal when you're looking for peace and quiet for a relaxing weekend! There was no continental breakfast or snack area due to covid. Everything else was fine. read more

Beaver Creek Inn is one of those charming out-of-the-way spots that isn't for everyone - but for those of us who like quiet, it's amazing. Our room was immaculate and spacious, and frankly much better than we expected for the price. Our king bed was comfortable and there were two armchairs if we'd preferred to sit down instead, plus a small table and two wooden dining chairs. The room also includes a tiny smoking patio. As other reviewers mentioned, the inn features a hospitality room which operates on the honor system. A continental breakfast is included with the room; other snacks and drinks are offered at reasonable prices. (When we were there, coffee, tea, or bottled water were 50 cents each.) And, as others mentioned, there are shelves of DVD movies available to borrow for free. WiFi is included, though our connection was so-so. If you plan to stream media, it probably won't work. However, cable television is provided and worked fine. The staff is warm and friendly. The atmosphere is informal, which is suited to the remote location. Be aware this is off the beaten path. It's about half an hour or more to Sedona or Cottonwood, and the Inn is hidden in a residential area of Rimrock. While it's not too far from I-17, it took GPS to get us there when we arrived after dark. read more

The bed was comfortable, the people were friendly, and the price was right. I will stay here again when we are in the area. read more

The wife and I booked 3 days and only stayed one. We thought we could save a few bucks since Sedona was booked up. We had a terrible night due to the smoky smell in the room. Since they were maxed out, we could not change rooms. Wifi does not work, as the service there is very poor. There is no one there from 12 midnight to 8 am and as we had to get to an appointment, we just left. We canceled the rest of our stay as we could not do business with no sleep. The owner gave us no consideration and accused us of smoking! The help was kind, but incapable of helping us due to the owner. Be aware that this place is remote, you have to drive to a gas station to get any "real food". The resort golf course in the area has long since closed down and gone to weeds. Carefully consider things before you stay here. read more

we weren't expecting much at the price but it turned out to be a very wonderful experience. The room was clean they had a Hospitality Center. The staff was nice. They had television in the room a patio with a table and chairs, a refrigerator and microwave. There were purchasable snacks in the breakfast area. It was on the honor system. There were board games and DVD movies you could play in your room. Did I forget to mention they have a DVD player in your room? There was a seating area on the community area and a barbeque for customers use. The experience was so wonderful, I cannot wait to come back.
