Came here for a 3 day getaway with my adult kid. We booked a 2 double bed, creek view, with a hot tub. We arrived fairly early on our check in day, knowing we may not be able to check in , which was fine. I thought this was a hotel/ lodge, but it's a bunch of privately owned rustic condos that are mostly managed by a " front desk". When we arrived we were told our room wasn't quite ready so we headed over to the onsite restaurant " The Table" , for lunch. The staff at the restaurant was super friendly- (Kyla, I think that was our server's name, and Rebecca, the bartender, waited on us every time we showed up to eat. They were both amazing to us during our stay, as well as the Chef ,Chris, who took time to come and chat with us). We ate at this restaurant several times during our stay, and every meal was delicious! While we were eating I received a text that our room was ready. We went back to the front desk, and the girls working were extra helpful and very nice. They answered all of my questions about things to do nearby. Prior to booking, I gauged from the photos online that the units are older, and rustic, so my expectation was exactly that. Our unit was clean and fully stocked with kitchen items, as well as a fridge, stove and dishwasher. The property is exactly what we were looking for! Foresty, green, and with a creek. We used our hot tub each night and did some star gazing. On the first night we noticed our upstairs a/c wasn't keeping cool enough, so I notified the front desk. They gave me a box fan and told me maintenance would look at it in the morning. The next morning, we went for a hike and when we returned, the a/c had already been repaired! The staff was extremely attentive, and we had a great time! I will definitely be back!!! This property is older, the grounds are well maintained, some of the units could use updating ( our carpet was old and had stains) but you can't beat the location, views, staff and restaurant, if you are looking for a getaway in the foresty woods near Sedona!!!

The Junipine Resort was absolutely beautiful. I was welcomed by the sweetest soul, Marcayla, when I checked in, and she was amazing from start to finish. She upgraded me to a creekside cabin, which was so cozy and had the best vibes the moment I walked in. Check-in was effortless, and her customer service was truly exceptional. I can't wait to return to the property -- and to see Marcayla again. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

Beautiful experience. Everything was very clean and perfect for my family. The beds were super comfortable and loved the outside area.

We checked into this property, received a parking pass and keys. No mention of VIP perks. We went to our room and were thrilled - it was super nice and had an amazing view. Then we realized there were bugs everywhere. I called the front desk and the woman said "oh yes, housekeeping told me about that. Do you want me to send our guy?" Of course I did. You knew about the bugs and didn't do anything about it?! So a man comes with a vacuum, but he immediately tells me we would probably continue to have problems because of the recent rain and a "hatching" that had just occurred. He offered to move us and I agreed after specifically asking if the room would be exactly the same. He said yes. So we went back to the front desk, got a new parking pass and keys. Still no mention of the VIP status. We went to our new room and ... not the same at all. There were fewer beds, no view (we overlooked the parking lot), smelled like mildew, had blankets with holes and stains, included a tiny shower/bath, had a much smaller kitchen, and had cleaning supplies piled up outside in the front. I was so disappointed. I reserved this room as a special surprise for my sister and nephews and this was so disappointing. My sister and I went back to the front desk and were told "housekeeping had gone home and there was nothing they could do." So, basically, we were stuck. My VIP status was never recognized and, to top it all off, my shower was sooooo cold. So, would I recommend? Maybe, if you got the first room and there were no bugs. Ultimately we had a good time, but this whole situation put a bad taste in my mouth. I'm not sure I would return.

Beautiful location and great expectations when booking a day trip/staycation. The drive in the canyon was gorgeous and when we arrived the location of the resort was so picturesque, we were so excited to get out of Phoenix and enjoy our night in away. Upon arrival we were told that due to how we booked the room we would have to wait until a different employee arrived because the girl on shift didn't know how to confirm the registration, even though she acknowledged it on her end and was providing multiple confirmations. After the 30 minute wait we were told our creek view room was not available because the aforementioned employee had neglected to "turn it over" so we were moved to another room. The room was gorgeous and provided everything expected for the night, or so we thought. Because the room was booked with the expectation of a full working kitchen we packed a nice romantic dinner to share by the fire only to find that the oven was not working. The front desk was called several times from 7p to 730 with no answer and a voicemail was even left which went unreturned. Rather than allow that ruin the evening we improvised our meal and decided to move onto a relaxing hot shower. Five minutes may have been plenty of hot water for some but, not for what we were looking forward to yet, that was all that was available. I boiled a pot of hot water on the stove and gave myself a quick cowboy shower before turning in for the night. Any idea of romance was out the window at this point, especially since my wife remembered we had planned on making cinnamon rolls for breakfast. The last thing she mentioned before rolling over and going to sleep was I can't believe we paid almost $300 to basically go camping, at least the heater works. Like I said, it's a beautiful room and the views are gorgeous. It would've been magical had everything worked as expected I'm sure.

While looking for a place to stay near Sedona, I came across Junipine Resort on Expedia and decided to book our stay here for the weekend. The condo/villa we stayed in at this cabin resort was MASSIVE! Two balconies, an entire living room and kitchen (complete with all the necessary cooking supplies, utensils Etc) and a giant bedroom with a extra comfy bed. There was only two of us on this trip, but honestly this condo could've fit a whole family and everyone would've had plenty of room to relax and enjoy their stay. Also the staff was absolutely wonderful. Every interaction with them was so helpful. They brought extra firewood to our room after a quick phone-call and they even delivered our food to us from the restaurant (the restaurant was currently undergoing renovations when we were staying at this resort, but the kitchen was still open and taking orders). They also have a little gift shop/market in their lobby where you can buy souvenirs, wine, snacks etc. which perfect and super convenient. Next time I'm visiting Sedona I'm definitely coming back to this resort!

This is our first night here and so far, everything has been amazing! The only complains that I have about this place is the hot tub doesn't get any hotter than 95 degrees Fahrenheit. My husband and I suffer from bad backs, so we were really looking forward to some relaxation and the upstairs bedrooms ac did not work. Maintenance was able to fix the ac upstairs but unfortunately when we switch the air on, it sounds like I dinosaur lives up there, our 13 year old got startled and yelled at us to "turn it off!" (Hahaha) It startled me too. We put our two girls to sleep up there with two double beds which could have perfect minus the ac but thank God it got cooler at night. We were willing to pay for the amenities so those two experience were disappointing. Staff has been friendly and pleasant, we were greeted with a breakfast basket. We chose to stay in the two bedroom villa with a hot tub facing the creek. It looks and sounds like tranquility, my family and I wanted to get away from the stress of Vegas and especially because we've been home for the longest. We enjoyed the fireplace, our villa came with one in the living room and one in the Master bedroom. Before coming here, I read they had a full Kitchen which included everything we needed, so we brought food to make and eat. My husband lit a fire place for the first time and we made s'mores. And last but not the least, our beautiful villa came with two balconies. My family and I went to the upper balcony where the second room is located and enjoyed gazing at the stars last night! It was impeccable, it brought back child hood memories living in Hawaii, it felt like we were on a planetarium! Both of our girls, especially our 5 year old enjoyed every minute of it, she also seen her very first shooting star! Living in the city for 20+ something years, we don't get this majestic view. I love that this Resort is deep in the woods with both forest and creek views and the fact that it only has 86 villas. I also really wanted to try their restaurant but because of the closure, we weren't able to try it, not even to go or room service but it's understandable. We drove around at the end of the day and found a small inviting town where people were eating! We can't wait to explore.

We were in desperate need of a quick getaway from Tucson and life's stress. We actually booked over the phone at midnight on Friday night (my husband likes to try to negotiate rates....it works) and left Saturday morning. Once we got through the touristy part of Sedona and on the road up Oak Creek, we easily found our destination. I fell for the quaint resort immediately! Check in was easy and the front desk personnel MORE than helpful. They just really were interested in us having a wonderful experience. Our cottage was gorgeous and spacious. We never had a single issue or problem with anything in the place. Really enjoyed the fireplace in both the living room and bedroom but the best was the hot tub on our patio. Completely unobstructed views of the gorgeous rocks/mountains with snow on them. Even had snow on our patio! Purchased some items in the little store in the lobby (breakfast stuff, wine & a few snacks) and the process was so easy! Just add it to my room :) We also called for more firewood and it was delivered within an extremely short amount of time. The restaurant on property is top notch as well.....but that's another review! I will definitely be back!

Our jacuzzi room had the most perfect view and sounds from the creek. Really good price for the amount of amenities provided (full service kitchen, bathroom, living room, patio etc.), but I know the summers tend to be cheaper. There is some dated parts of the house of course but that's to be expected for the woodsy area.

    Patio views.

Fancy! Romantic! Relaxing! Great place to stay in Sedona. It was so beautiful and comfortable to stay. I felt like a Queen here. Definitely want to come back. Loved the hot tub and it was nice to watch nature outside my window.

Spending time by the creek, with our feet in the cool water and surrounded by towering sycamores and Sedona's iconic red rock landscape, was one of the most peaceful and memorable experiences of our trip. HORROR AT L'AUBERGE! 17 hours without a toilet!…read more My fiancé and I stayed there in late July of 2026. A few hours after check-in, we noticed that our toilet was not flushing properly, we called maintenance who quickly sent a technician to resolve the problem. With the toilet apparently fixed, my wife and I went out for dinner and a stroll around town. Upon our return to our room (3106), we noticed that the toilet was still not working and that a room change was probably in order. It was past 10:00 pm at that time, we were tired, so we decided to inform the front desk and deal with the problem in the morning and just go to sleep. That night we had to use the public resort restrooms and so the following morning, with the inconvenience that this implies. The following morning, we called the front desk to let them know that the toilet was still not working and that we wished to be transferred to a room with a working toilet. All we asked was for the same room class of better, which is customary in these situations. Front desk acknowledged our request and started working to "immediately transfer us to a different room". It's now 7:30 am and we still have not heard from the front desk, we go down to the Cress restaurant for breakfast, and we are informed that a suitable room has been found and that all it needs is the approval from the Director of Front office (Sarahlynn Huggins). We again use the public resort restrooms and return to our room awaiting an update. It's now 8:30 am and still no room and no working toilet. We call the front desk, and we are told that a different room has been found but that "unfortunately it is currently occupied by a guest", and that upon checkout & cleaning we can move into that room. Estimated time for this room to become available is between 12:00 and 1:00 pm. This is evidently not acceptable; we needed a room with a working toilet now. Finally, at 10:30 am, a room is being "inspected" after cleaning, and we are promised it will be ready in 20-30 minutes. We go to play pickleball and return an hour later. Still no room and now it will be another hour until is ready! The front desk manager (Sarahlynn Huggins) was extremely rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and unprepared. I requested the General Manager's contact information, which she initially refused to give me and offered the "rooms manager" instead. I insisted and then she proceeds to give me Anthony Loiacono's contact information as the GM. My wife does a quick LinkedIn search and realizes the terrible lie (Anthony is the rooms manager not the GM). At this point the conversation is over. I can deal with incompetence, a bad attitude, but I definitely can't deal with liars. I reluctantly take the downgraded room and move on. We had booked (and paid for) a Deluxe room with semi-private balcony and fireplace. We were placed instead in a tiny room (fishbowl) with lots of pedestrian traffic and zero privacy. No refund is offered by the hotel. I proceed to file a formal complaint and ask for a copy of it, she refuses, then I ask to take a picture of the complaint, and she refuses again. 17 hours later we have a working toilet. This whole interaction goes beyond poor customer service. This place simply fails to deliver the very basic standards of human decency and honesty. Needless to say, we won't stay there again. Enchantment, Ambiente or even Amara provide way better customer service than this place. The case is now in the hands of American Express, who has opened a formal investigation for breach of contract.

We shared the crab cake as an appetizer and both ordered the beef filet which was amazing. We shared a bottle of wine and the toffee chocolate mousse for dessert. The entire staff from the time we arrived to when we left, made the experience worthwhile. This place rivals any restaurant in the valley and is totally worth it.

This is a little embarrassing as I have been meaning to write a review for The Wilde Resort & Spa…read moresince my kids and I visited two summers ago. First off, the resort is lovely - we loved our room, the view from our balcony was beautiful & the pool was perfect. Second and even more importantly to me, the staff was top notch, professional & so very kind. Long story short, my kids and I experienced a fairly big hiccup during our trip. On the way to Meteor Crater, my car got a flat tire & I had no spare. This happened on the highway & it was hot. The towing company took about 3 hours to pick us up & tow us to a tire place in Flagstaff where it took another 3 hours to get my tire replaced. Needless to say, we missed our day at Meteor Crater AND I felt like a horrible mom for not having a spare. While we were waiting for the tire to get replaced, I called the resort to ask what time the pool closed that evening in hopes that we could get back in time to salvage the day, mentioning why we would be late coming back. When we finally got back to the resort that night we had missed the pool hours but the nice young lady at the front desk told me they would extend our check out the next day so we could swim. My kids were so happy & really enjoyed their time at the pool. The extra time had already started to help turn our trip around but then when I went to check out, I found out that the resort had gifted us our stay. I was shocked but even more than that, I was touched that they would even think to do that. Talk about going above and beyond. While the resort is beautiful & I would go back for that alone, it is the kindness and compassion from the team at The Wilde Resort & Spa that I will ALWAYS remember.

From the ice make to the dors that arent sealed, to the bathrooms needing to be remodeled, it's pure old. Do not stay here. The doors are heavy and when guests leave, they slam hard and you can hear it in your room - There's no slow release hynge. The pillows, omg, are hard not good for neck alignment. The tv doesn't work. The reason for 2 data, is because they have sl movie night where they pull up a big screen on the courtyard and watch. They also have these cool fire pits & chairs.

It's just like having a house in the Red Rock mountains with a beautiful private patio situated off the bedroom/family room and kitchen. It has a beautiful fireplace positioned in front of the bed on the patio side. The small kitchen has a stocked refrigerator, sink, microwave, Keurig coffee machine and K cups with a beautifully set table done every morning with large coffee mugs. Wine glasses and drinking glasses available. There is a bread machine that the staff uses to come in the villa and made is bread in it every day. The smell when we came home from a hike or exploring Sedona was a slice of home with ready to eat bread. The bathroom was huge, rustic and elegant with an extra large Southwestern tiled shower. It had a sunken bathtub for two with a fireplace on one side to give it an even cozier romantic vibe. A large rustic wood closet that followed the rustic vibe of the whole villa was situated on one wall of the bathroom. The outside of the villas had a pool and hot tub for warmer months and a stocked refrigerator for water and sodas. Help yourself. The main building of the villas had a warm sitting area with a fireplace and Christmas tree for the holidays. The office for the villas was in the building as well Gourmet breakfast was served every morning in this building off a menu with choices that change everyday, included with price of the villa. Very quiet eating area like eating in someone's dining room. In fact everything was included in the price of the villa. The staff was like family. Isobel who coordinated our stay also set up our dinner reservations in advance as well as mapping out where to hike and places not to miss. She made this trip a huge success for us. The property is situated down the road from beautiful Thunder Mountain where we could literally walk to and hike. Lastly they have a massage room to book a professional massage tailored for your needs. My wife and I both did a massage. Remarkable!!! This property and accommodations is perfect getaway and so relaxing. Definitely not a "hotel" atmosphere. Not what we wanted. Slowed me down to regroup before bringing in the new year. We will be back to wind down here again.

This place is expensive so enjoy it. We spent most of our time here. There is little reason to leave. We stayed in a beautiful room with a private entrance. We had a lovely room. It was spotless and just so pretty. We had 2 fireplaces and a comfortable large king bed. We had freshly baked bread and that made the room smell so wonderful. It must be made there. We loved the jetted tub and the bathrobes were so soft. There is a wee kitchen with a frig and microwave. The TV was nice. We did not use it often. They have free WiFi. What we really loved was the charging station for our cars. We were with another couple. Each morning we had a wonderful breakfast. They also have fresh cookies. It is located in beautiful Sedona, one of our favorite places in Arizona. Everything in Sedona is expensive, so we love the few time we are able to go. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful pool. We were very happy.

We didn't use the fireplace but room AC was good and strong and you can self adjust the thermostat. King size bed was so comfy- no tossing and turning just settle in for a good night's rest. There is a fire pit in the courtyard in the afternoons. Loved the hummingbird at the bird feeder outside the breakfast nook. Guests are quiet and respectful.
