So while hubby and neighbor waited for them, they were able to stage A LOT! They worked so hard because we have a few very difficult items to move upstairs. They never got frustrated, and the only curse words spoken were from me! I hired an extra mover and I'm so glad I did. A truly fabulous crew. I highly recommend Bekins for your next move. The only company that would help was Cross Town Movers who said its a small job and they would do it on their way to another job first thing in the morning in a couple of days. Wow customer service is not dead. Matt W and Josh F showed up right on time and were very friendly and got right to work getting the fountain pieces out of my wife's van and to our patio. They were very careful with the pieces and were done in less than twenty minutes. A five star performance. Great emploees.

They were able to get me in swiftly so that I could set up her new apartment. They made me the second job of the day which means you need to be ready when they call. I packed all the stuff but they would do it if you were unable/didn't want to do it. They gave a discount for the senior I was moving. The move (only a mile) was done in about an hour. I would definitely use them again if needed.

Wow, such a relief to find such great movers to work with! It's been awhile since i worked with a…read moremoving company (like 10+ years, lol), so i felt like i had to start over with reading all the reviews, calling and leaving messages... Ultimately, what i was looking for was a reasonable rate, and someone who would treat us and our stuff respectfully. I probably interacted with about a dozen different moving companies and went with Marley's for a few reasons. First, everyone I dealt with was friendly and helpful. Marley's was the ONLY company I was able to get a live person in the evening. Now I get that people need time off from work, lol... but the guy who answered was one of the movers and was just a really nice, cool guy to talk with. Gave me a rough idea of cost, not sales-y at all, and recommended i call their office the next day to get more info, confirm best days they'd be available and so on. And I spoke to Kathy? i think it was. But again, she was super nice, friendly, not trying to sell me on anything. Just happy to help, see what days/times they had available. She let me know a range for the cost (b/c they don't exactly know how long the job will be). We were moving from Corvallis to Bend. And when i compared the rates of renting a one-way Uhaul vs Marley's, the cost was pretty close. In the end I think we spent about 100-$150 more than renting a Uhaul. BUT... they did all the lifting, driving and i didn't have to fuss w/ going and picking up a truck, dropping it off, paying for gas, having it inspected, etc. The other thing I had forgotten about is when you work with professional movers they REALLY know how to pack stuff safely. They have all the rope, ties, blankets, etc. needed to make sure stuff gets packed in safely for the ride over the mountain pass. Had I done this myself, i would have had to pay extra for all those things and odds are i wouldn't have done as good a job. Plus the movers were great guys. Did a great job being respectful of our stuff, nothing was getting tossed around. They were folding up carpets to make sure they didn't get damaged, again just an all-round great experience. Would't hesitate to use them again and if you're considering a move, i'd recommend giving them a call. They're so easy/friendly to talk with and you won't have to worry about getting pressured into anything :D

They went above and beyond to protect our antique furniture. We seriously under estimated the time we needed. Steve and Daeton never stopped until everything was in place and reassembled. From start to finish their attitudes were top shelf pleasant and cheerful. This was a tough job. I plan to use them again when we bring up a load from California.
