The room has a nice size kitchenette . My only complaint is the balcony area isn't separated it would be MUCH BETTER if they put some lattice work between the rooms or something so you had some privacy! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean . I would definitely stay again if we go back to Hot Springs! We got a late checkout which was nice !

The site also has multiple pools, hot tubs, basketball court, tennis court and a small rec room with ping pong and pool. The staff was very nice to us and helped with what ever we needed. Our room V4 had an amazing view of the lake with a nice quite balcony. The beds are comfortable but the blinds don't hide much sun in the morning. Overall this is a great place to stay to see hot springs and surrounding cities. Check out my other reviews for what we found in the city. Can't wait to come back.

Outside of windows were filthy and had spiderwebs on all windows .

Skip and company are welcoming, kind and filled with a wealth of information about the area. There's a concrete apron for access to the lake for swimming, which probably serves as a boat launch too. Basic kitchen supplies and towels are provide, and the fridge has breakfast necessities upon arrival. There are grills for shared use on property that are bring your own charcoal and work great. With the amount of cabins here, it would be a great place for work retreats or family reunions. And most importantly, they are pet friendly. Lake Catherine-- We absolutely love this lake!…read more Although, I felt like things were not labeled as they should have been during the hike of "Falls Creek Falls". There were marks on trees during the hike that were red, white and yellow, but I had no idea what those meant. Maybe this part of town is less touristy and more locals, because people had set up hammocks, and all of their things that they needed for the night/day around the waterfall after the hike. I spoke to a sweet man and woman on a golf cart who seemed to work there, as they were going around and changing papers for the reservations for there were trailers in the parking lot, and they advised us on where to go and park. They did advise us that if you go on the trails, if you go towards the left, the hike is shorter and it's about a 1/2 a mile, and if you go towards the right, it's about a mile and a 1/2 Which is a great tip because, of course, we wanted to take the shorter route. We had a toddler and an elderly person with us, and so we did not want to do a strenuous hike. This hike was just enough for us to feel better adventurous, and like we accomplished something when we got to the falls. The falls were beautiful, and the water looked gorgeous. Although, I did see later on another app, that a lot of times sewer water gets into the falls. Unfortunately, we had decided to take a dip even though we didn't have swim suits just because it looks so refreshing but it's just something to keep in mind. Overall, we would definitely come here again! It looks like a great place to bring lunch and hang out and eat after a great hike!

The cabin is near the owner's house, but not to the point that it is a disturbance, as can sometimes be the case. The cottage is not fancy but well-equipped for all needs. There are 4 double/queen beds, two in each room, so lots of sleeping space and no extra charge for extra people, so it is economical. It is surrounded by 30 acres and set back from the main road. There is some sweet playground equipment. Also there are 1 1/2 baths. I'd recommend this place for larger groups or families. The Degray lake is beautiful and there is a lot to do in the area.

We loved having use of the paddle boat so we could putter around the beautiful lake. The outside sitting areas were my favorite .... tables and chairs, fire pit, swing and the dock were all just lovely. The cabin was immaculate! I thought I was clean but I definitely need to step up my game Hahahaha. Sharon welcomed us when we got there a bit early from our fight and was so sweet, accommodating and great.

Has a full kitchen with all the amenities!! We grilled out steaks the first night and just had to provide our own charcoal. Coffee maker and filters were there so bring your own coffee. They had S&P for you. The cabin came with a 4 person paddleboat that was so fun. We jumped off the dock and swam in the lake. It was very refreshing and safe. We drove into Hot Springs the next day (about 20 minutes drive) and did the touristy thing walking down Bathtub Row and stopped in for a quick drink at the Ohio House. Learned a lot about Al Capone & the Arlington Hotel. Was a great mini vaca. Thank you to the Smiths for being such amazing hosts!!! Was a fabulous place to make great memories with the older kids!!
