We don't make it into the city very often anymore, so we specifically looked up a JuiceLand and decided to stop here. This location is connected to a yoga studio, and during our visit it definitely felt like the students from the studio were given priority over customers coming in through the door. The staff was also less than friendly, which didn't help the experience. Unfortunately, my smoothie was probably the biggest disappointment. It wasn't smooth at all--it was bitter, gritty, and still had chunks of ice throughout it. Definitely not what I was expecting from a place specializing in smoothies and juices. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, but between the service and the quality of my smoothie, I don't think we'll be returning to this particular JuiceLand location anytime soon.

The space is well lit, extremely clean, & lots of seating to dine in. There's also parking right out front in the plaza exclusive for Pressed guests. I'll definitely be back to try more juices!!

The bright orange logo side wall was a nice touch, but still presented a contrasting vibe that was hard to shake. The drinks did not fare much better, but were at least consistent. The roasted oolong milk tea and slushes were always the go-to and the swirls and fruit teas were the ones to avoid. The food was a bit all over the place, from "cubie breads" to mochi donuts and fries. They worked as easy snacks on the go, but never overshadowed the drinks. Customer service was always a crapshoot, thus like many bubble tea cafes, the self-ordering kiosk was easy to consider. Prices were semi-reasonable given the neighborhood, which was a semi-win in itself. While I do hope for the best of this location, the one thing that still presents a challenge is the limited parking. Since it's a shared strip of only a couple of spots for each business, there is little street parking to compensate for the limited front side parking. For fans of the TSAOCAA brand and looking for a fix, the Katy store is the only remaining Houston-area location.

There's not a ton of boba competition in the West U area, but this spot is definitely top tier. Bonus: they offer rose tea, which is surprisingly hard to find outside of Chinatown. Then the extras they add to the smoothies are itemized at a $1+ for tiny portions. The best part of this experience was the service.

I tell her I'll have coffee so I can sit outside and enjoy this cold windy weather (and yes I really do mean it when I say enjoy this weather). Soon enough Houston will be oven hot for the remainder of the year so enjoy it while I can. The pleasant barista describes the coffee I'll be drinking. Even though I probably didn't need to know the intricacies of it, still it was nice that she took an element of pride in what she served. I found my seat outside on this cold morning and sipped enjoying the rising sun on my face. When I went back for 2 refills, she cheerfully greeted me again and offered more insight of their breakfast offerings. I selected the omelet with lion's mane mushroom with sorghum toast, and of course with their delicious coffee. It didn't disappoint. My Monday wasn't planned.
