We ordered 1/2lb of pernil, 1/2lb of ribs, rice, and yucca, so our total was around $18. This is to give you an idea of the price point since there's no menu. I was disappointed in the pernil as it lacks flavor but the ribs and yucca were my favorite. It took me 35-40 mins just to order pre-made food on a Monday. We happened upon Bebo's while picking up our rental car. We warned about the wait, but it wasn't too bad, maybe 10 minutes in line. We got ribs, half a chicken, and pork. The ribs were my favorite overall, but there were a few very fatty parts. The chicken had great flavor. I really wish there had been sauce of some kind. The place doesn't look like much in the outside, but as long as they serve good food I'm good. Restroom was a little iffy, could've definitely used some attention. Located right next a McDonalds, off the highway, next to the airport. Totally a local favorite and it's often packed with people. Basic Puerto Rican / Dominican food with no frills. Place is super close to the airport and is open 24/7. All of my Dominican friends in the area are obsessed with this place, and say they've been eating it their whole lives. I can see why! It's not going to be traditional smoked Memphis or Texas style you'll fine on the mainland, but is it very tasty and Puerto Rican style, marinated with Garlic, lime, salt, and other spices. They're kinda everywhere, if you are ever in PR and want to go to the most famous lechoneras you have to go to Guavate- if you go on the weekend it's a party. But we were starving and thought we would give this place a try. If you speak Spanish it's very easy to order, if you don't I could see where this place can be a little confusing. I really thought the food was good, we ordered lechon (pork), PR rice, plantain, and a fried potato thing, it was PR foods. I love the local atmosphere, I love the simplicity of it, it's location from San juan was good too. Do not expect fast service anywhere on the island, so don't expect it here, this place is also very popular-it gets busy. On the plus side: This is one of the few food places we found that's open 24 hours, which was convenient for an 11pm meal when everything else was closed. The restaurant is very close to the airport, so even better for late night travelers. The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot of food. You can only order each item in half pound or full pounds, so if you're not very hungry, beware. So if you want chicken and fries, it's half a pound of chicken and half a pound of fries. Like I said, a LOT of food. Which is good if you like leftovers. It was nice because we went as a group of 6, so with everyone ordering different things, it was good to share and try different foods. It's a very greasy place though, and most of the seating is outside. Apparently, there is ALWAYS a line there and it's always packed, so good luck getting seating for everyone in your party, especially later in the day. I didn't eat much there because I wasn't feeling well, and the fact that the food window was outside kinda put me off from eating too much of their food, although I nibbles off of my friends' plates. Probably should had tried the blood sausage like the reviews said but we don't eat blood. My greatest regret was only getting 1 chicken. This was my favorite meal of the whole trip to PR. This was truly a local joint. There was only probably 1 other group of tourists in line with mainly locals. So do not expect 5 star restaurant quality seating here and english spoken. But this place is supposed to be open 24/7 and serves so mean meats. When we got there we noticed that there was 2 lines. I think both you are allowed to get all of the meats, but we opted for the one that is perpendicular to the McDonald's vs the one that runs parallel to it. This line seemed to move much faster, originally I split up with my gf and we waited in one line each. But as hers moved almost 3x as fast, I switched over. We ordered 1/2 lb of roast pork (BEST SKIN!!!), 1/2 ribs very good flavor and tender, 1/2 chicken, the skin was tasty, but by the time I got to this item was so full, Blood sausage, my gf said it was just OK, and chicken sausage (Deep fried), she enjoyed this more than the blood sausage, the yellow rice, just ok, and two sodas. Everything came out to be a little over 20 bucks. An order like this would have easily been $50+ in the states. The food was amazing! This place is a hidden gem. Well technically all the locals are in tune with this spot but tourists not so much... A good friend that stays in Puerto Rico recommended this place and we made it a point to come here after spending a long day at isle de culebra beach. You tell the employee what you want based on people you're trying to feed and they grab everything put it together and then ring you up. Of course we had to get two servings of the LECHON (crispy pork) I can't even being to describe to you the flavoring. The skin was crispy the meat was tender and packed full of flavor. The only thing is between the skin and meat there was a significant amount of gooey fat I didn't care for so I just removed that middle fat part and devoured the rest. Still 5 stars**** PLANTAINS- definitely had better. Sweet, but was too cooked so more on the mushy side 3 1/2 stars*** TOSTONES- flattened green banana fried and comes with a ketchup mayo sauce. Good, but not the best I had on my visit to PR 4 stars**** GRILLED ROTISSERIE CHICKEN- yummy! Great pieces of chicken with great flavoring. Skin was crispy and not fatty. 4 1/2 stars*** SPANISH RICE- great consistency and flavoring. Had my share of rice in PR that was too soft or too hard. 4 stars*** YUCCA- wasn't too bad is a root/potato thing that is bland in taste and kind of offsets all the saltiness you're eating. For everything I ordered I probably paid about $30-$40 and it was enough to share for about 4 ppl instead of the quoted two they said it was for.
