If you're visiting Puerto Rico, this spot is a must-visit! A solo 6 minutos del aeropuerto, este lugar es un verdadero ícono de Puerto Rico. The line is always long here but it moves at a good pace, and totally worth it. Don't be intimidated by the people who work here, they aren't very friendly at all. I am Mexican and Puerto Rican, so my Spanish is a mix of both. When i placed my order there was something I said wrong and the girl taking my order laughed a irritated laugh and corrected me. I thought that was pretty rude, and her demeanor was just not it. However, i will say at the end of our encounter she was nice to me, because i treated her with kindness and didnt let it get to me. Im on vacation and i wasn't going to let her bad attitude affect me. The food was amazing and I would go back again in a heartbeat. We ordered a half chicken grilled. Arroz con gandules, longaniza de pollo, tostones. ALL FIRE. TRUST ME! EAT HERE. IF YOU CAN MORE THAN ONCE.

It's not going to exist beyond 10 minutes when hitting our table. Everything is flavourful, especially the Churrasco a la Parrilla. Juicy and flawlessly grilled. My pick of the day. They cook things right. The Salmon was ridiculous delicious. I didn't mind paying almost $20 for the Argentine style Breast Fillet. Everything down to the potato was a treat. I'm a bit bothered by auto adding the gratuity to the bill. We had six but I'm told even parties of four incur this. The prices weren't the best, but, the large portions helped to make up for that. I've heard bad things about the service, ours was spot-on. Maybe not the most polite, but fast and attentive. I'd definitely be back to this place. 12/25

Walking into this old corner unit on Ponce de Leon is the smell of "hospital napalm" aka denatured alcohol rub, so, no smoking allowed. But pretty, pretty clean. Servers are dressed in Boston green polo shirts and do a perfunctory welcome. The large bar adorns the left of the restaurant with tables, cushioned chairs and a few corner units that can accommodate a few family sized 8-tops. There is a parking lot so if you're not going into the La Placita, don't worry. Classic PR bound and laminated menu features all of the good in life. Local favorites, and for good value. You're not getting a Michelin-starred meal here, you're getting sustenance not caviar. Protein, and starch- do you really need microgreens? So order the first of 3 huge pina coladas, mojitos or beers, and STFU Donny. Everything is great and pretty basic. PR "Mayo-Ketchup" on the table already mixed. Curious, I opted for avocado-stuffed fresh ceviche the size of a small child's head. Perfectly seasoned and incredible in value. Just needs lime wedges and a few chips-see pic. Others ordered a cauldron of piping hot seafood soup with shrimp and calamari, and tender beef stew with all the trimmings of rice, beans and everything nice. It reminds you of the PR mom you never had. One I'm still trying to emulate, but creativity and reasoning get in the FKN way. Enjoy your meal and tip the girls.

It's just that you're basically getting food truck vibes and what is essentially street food for a nice, full service price point. The food is hearty- you don't need to order much to get full. Stick to what this place is good at, arepas. They load it to the max and their assortment of sauces are pretty impressive. One thing I gotta say though, $10 for an orange juice is egregious at any level. I could be at the four seasons in Bali and that would still make me raise my eyebrows. Even then I ordered it like a doof and it was like 3/4 ice!! C'mon yall, just take it off the menu if it's like that. Overall, the 24-hour aspect is nice and the food is decent. I can see myself paying a premium after a long night out, but just watch what you get because that bill can run up quick.

This place doesn't provide a lot of seating, but it has a huge selection of hot sauce from all across the world on a table outside surrounded by a few benches. We ordered the tequenos de queso and the reina pepiada arepa. Everything was AMAZING and full of flavor! Service was super fast, and their margaritas were absolutely delicious! This is a great little place to visit while in Puerto Rico!
