This cafeteria style BBQ spot offers a variety of roasted meats & PR style sides. During my visit, I tried the pernil (roasted pork), roasted chicken, chicken sausage,maduro (fried sweet plantain),& rice w/ gandules. The standout was def the roasted chicken(dark meat was juicy, flavorful, & delish while the white meat was a little dry it was still tasty). The roasted pork was also enjoyable & moist w/ crispy cerdo (skin).Unfortunately, the chicken sausage was on the dry side.The rice & gandules were the biggest disappointment. They tasted like they had been sitting out for a while & lacked the freshness & hotness(I like my rice piping hot) I was hoping for. The maduro could have been more fresh as well. I wish they had been more generous w/ the hot sauce. I was only given two tiny containers which wasn't nearly enough for the amount of food I ordered. The woman who took care of me was ok. Some of the other workers were rude & acted like I asked for the world when I asked for hot sauce. There isn't really any decor (just basic) & seating/tables are outside where you can enjoy the nice,fresh air. The only complaint I can say about that is the birds everywhere. Overall, the roasted chicken/pernil alone would def bring me back. While some of the sides & extras could use improvement as well as some of the staff. The quality of the chicken/pernil made the visit worthwhile plus the price was right. I couldn't believe how cheap everything was.
I asked my man to get some hot sauce and the sever denied him, says she already gave it to him, when she clearly did not, because of her nasty attitude I will never come back here again, how she is going to tell him what he received! The plátano was raw in the middle and the yuca was bland af. The chicken sausage was dry af. The ajo sauce was so mid and so was the chicken, maybe it would have tasted better with the hot sauce we were denied! There was bird droppings all over the floor. I'm so disgusted we were treated liked this over a small container of hot sauce!

This was one of the better meals I had while in the Carolina/San Juan area of PR. They're famous for their chicken. We tried the pork, pork spare ribs, & rotisserie chicken. We also got the sweet plantain, Puerto Rican rice too. Out of the 3-4 places I ate the rice at, this spot was the best one. The food was excellent, so tender and flavorful too. The pork fell right off of the rib bone, and the pull pork was so tender and good. The prices here are beyond fair, you can get a good amount of food for a really good price. You can tell why there was a line that was pretty long when we arrived, for sure a reputable tourist spot that no doubt holds up to their reputation.

Full of delicious traditional food with generous portions, sometimes if I'm curious and they're not busy the staff will let me try a little bit of something I'm curious about before committing to my meal. Very sweet employees in an outdoor/open air setting.
Great local Puerto Rican spot with delicious, fresh-tasting food. The roasted chicken, pork and sides were excellent and everything felt clean and homemade. Bonus points for the rooster casually walking around--it added to the island charm. The pigeons were a little less charming, but the food more than made up for it. Definitely worth a stop!
Off the highway location, very popular. Food was amazing, variety to choose. We had a short wait in the line, ordered and chose our seats. They took our order and quickly served it by calling out our name. It's a togo type of service, however they have seating. Open to the air, parking is limited. Ambulance was great, music playing and a lot of people enjoying the he food. Recommend this location, opens late too.
Bebo's BBQ is hands down one of the best spots to eat in Puerto Rico, and it has become our very first stop every time we arrive. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The BBQ meats are perfectly cooked, smoky, and juicy, and the sides taste just like home-cooked comfort food. What I love most about this place is the atmosphere--it's casual, laid-back, and you really feel the local vibe as soon as you walk in. The staff is quick and friendly, even when it gets busy, and the service never disappoints. Whether you're just landing at the airport or heading out, Bebo's is the perfect place to kick off your trip with authentic Puerto Rican flavors. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the island--this is a must!
An absolute must. Either the first meal when you land or your last stop before you fly out. The chicken is excellent, as are the ribs. You can expect a lot of grease and even more flavor. It's not quite a white tablecloth situation. The meal is messy and the dining area is commensurate. You may need to fend off pigeons and chickens from your crumbs. And bird watchers may identify other avian diners as well (I spotted a Greater Antillian Grackle perched in the rafters). As to portion and price, a half chicken, a pound of ribs and two sides (I go for the rice and sweet plantains) plus drinks will feed four and run you less than $30.
Outstanding delicious must have food! Had the half a chicken maduros tostones and arroz con gandules and wow wow wow! Everything was delicious and well cooked. I can see why a line forms as you get a good quantity of food for a good price. This is a good spot to have lunch or dinner outdoors . Def have to come here if you're in PR.

Ok so i enjoyed the food. I ordered pernil, blood sausage, steamed yuca with onions and plantains. I enjoyed the food. Everything was fresh and tasty. When my food arrived I asked if they have any garlic sauce and one of the employees gave me some. I saw they didn't give me any hot sauce for the chicken so i back and asked The lady for some. She replied i served you and gave you hot sauce. I replied and said no you didn't i asked for garlic sauce and thats what you gave. Im asking you for hot sauce. Than I asked if you guys charge for the sauce? And she rolled her eyes and said yes. If that's the case than just say you charge for it. No need to be rude about something so small. I don't mind paying $1 for it. I ended up not getting any at all. I just didn't like the attitude that i was given over something so small. Courtesy and professionalism go a long way for a business. But two stars is what you get from me unfortunately.

Just 6 minutes from the airport, this place is a true Puerto Rican landmark. The food is outstanding, the portions are generous, and the prices are great. If you'll eat anywhere in Puerto Rico make sure this is the spot. Prices are phenomenal and everything is hot and fresh. I didn't get too adventurous with some of the more interesting options but I tried all of the meats and they were all amazing. The line might seem intimidating but it moves quick. read more

I came here finally because everyone always talks about it. So I ordered a lot too much for one person but I wanted to try the different things. So I ordered all the meats the morcilla, pork ribs, pernil, chicken, chicken sausage and arroz con guadules. I enjoyed the chicken and the pork ribs with the rice. The morcilla was ok and I did not like the chicken sausage. The pernil was ok but it was not memorable. I also ordered a tamarind juice and it was overly sweet but as the ice melted it helped it taste better. There is usually a line but it moves fast so just wait. Now is it a must stop; depends on the person for me it was a one and done unless it's the middle of the night and I'm hungry and nearby. It is a basic set up with tables and chairs it has open air but does have a roof. The price was doable and I got a lot of food so if you are a large group; this is a good deal. read more

Here on vacay tried for the first time as our uber driver recommended! We are glad we took the recommendation! A place all the locals go so you know it was good! Line was long but it moved super fast! Food was soo good! Zero complaints! Very inexpensive also! Until next time we will be back! read more

#1 spot to hit when you land in PR. Close to the airport and delicious every single time. Plenty of parking and open-air seating. Wait time fluctuates but the line moves fairly quickly! Very casual laid back atmosphere. read more
This was the first restaurant we ate at when we landed in PR. Generally very good authentic food. We were confused at how we ordered and had to kinda figure it out on the spot while we reached the front to order. You order food by the pound. 1/2 pound is plenty for 1 person and prices are very reasonable! There is outdoor seating and the restaurant is by the airport so you can see planes take off while you're eating. The people helping are very nice and patient with us first timers. Although the seating is outdoors, everything is very clean. read more

At around 7 PM, there was a line, but it moved quickly. You have the option to dine in or take your food to go, and it's very budget-friendly. We ordered chicken sausage, half a chicken, rice, beans, and sweet plantains--all for just $14. I was like yes I'm going to save some money tonight. The food tasted good, with the chicken being well-seasoned and the rice delicious. However, I found the sausage a bit dry for my liking. read more

La comida aquí se esta emperorando mano. No entiendo como es posible un restaurant que daba gusto ir se a caido de tal manera. El arroz con gandules desabrió y con el gandul encojido. La yuca seca y sin sabor, y con un baño de cebollas dura. Miren la foto La morcilla con demasiada arroz y sin sabor El cuajito lavenlo bien porfavor! Y el pernil no sabe a na! Ya cierren si es haci que van a seguir cocinando. Las de la caja, no sean tan grosera de por Dios. Créeme que no nos hacen el favor. Somos nosotros el publico que les mantengamos su trabajo y sueldo. The ambiance is outside on the open but the place is crowded that's a good thing that made us come here. We got half of chicken and half of chicken sausage with rice and sweet plantains it came up to $14 so you get a lot for your buck. The food is good real good worth it for sure. They are fast on point and your order will be ready quick. With the long line we got our food real fast which I loved. read more

First stop on the island. Food was hot and fresh! No table service more of a fast food location with outdoor seating. Chicken was hottt and very tasty. We had fried green plantains rice & fries. Overall kids were happy! First taste of PR was a success. read more

We went straight to Bebo's BBQ right after landing in San Juan--it's less than a 10-minute drive from the airport and so worth it. The food is inexpensive but absolutely delicious. We ordered tostones, pernil, ribs, arroz con gandules, and everything hit the spot. Highly recommend this spot to anyone traveling to Puerto Rico! read more
