The atmosphere was fun and the staff was good. We enjoyed the hamburger steak and sweet potato fries.

Usually much better, but tonight the hush puppies and fries tasted like they had been sitting around a while (they were only warm and seriously lacked flavor). Leftover ones in the past were better than "fresh" ones tonight. In short, not worth eating. Catfish was a bit below par, too, but not nearly as much. Will re-visit in a few weeks to see if they return to previous standard. If not, it will not be worth going back. read more

The business owner doesn't believe that I ate at her establishment... I paid $24 cash for 2 of the most disappointing breakfast plates I've ever been served and I generally don't take pictures of food when it looks like slop! The eggs were rubbery, the bacon was burnt and the biscuits were drier than dust. And I now find it hilarious that the owner thinks fighting with people in her Yelp reviews is going to help... avoid this restaurant if you want a decent meal! read more

They really need additional staff. Took my parents there bc I recommended the catfish. Only two waitresses on the packed day we went. Felt rushed, didn't get refills, and no tartar or cocktail sauce for the fish and shrimp. The waitress herself was vocal about her frustrations and stating she was going to have a panic attack. I almost wish we were sitting on the other side with the young lady who was waitressing over there. She was calm and doing her best. I would rather have a waitress like that then the one we had who was vocalizing her frustrations. Had to walk up to the counter and get it myself. A bit embarrassing to have to do that and also embarrassing I recommended that place to my parents for lunch. Overall not impressed. I would go back if the staffing was better. We stopped in yesterday, at 10:45am. There were only 3 other tables occupied. We arrived, expecting to be able to get breakfast but we're told the kitchen had already switched to lunch service. We felt like that was odd for being that early, especially a Sunday. We also felt that there was so few customers, that they still could have served breakfast... So, I had a burger, WITH a fried egg (still got my breakfast, lol) with tarot tots. Both were very good. My wife had a ham and cheese sandwich with onion rings. The onion rings were great as they are made fresh there, not something previously frozen. All in all, a decent meal and priced accordingly. Sorry... I try not to give bad reviews.. but this was bad. The waitress was not friendly.. she never smiled and only grunted answers.. The coffee was stereotypical... " campfire" coffee so strong the spoon would stand up in it. The scrambled eggs we full of white.. not mixed... and they tasted like they were cooked in old bacon grease. The quesadilla was veggie and it had tiny bits of tomatoes and onion in an overcooked blackish tortilla. The only thing interesting was the decor. I can't even!! I went to Bebos for the first time tonight and could not believe the service! I ordered my meal and then ordered a chocolate shake with it and the waitress literally said " I don't have time to make a shake right now"! At first I thought she was joking, but nope!! Amazing.... My husband and I happened onto this little gem after roping all day at Diamond T arena in Denton, Tx. The food was delicious, and we had a terrific waitress!! We also had the pleasure of visiting with Kathy, the owner of this great restaurant. To top our evening off, we also enjoyed listening to Salt Creek, a bluegrass/country band from Ft. Worth. I have driven past here several times and the car on top of the building always catches my eye. I had read some bad reviews so I never stopped until today. My food was very good. The service was good too. I really like the decor. The owners must be Elvis fans like me. They play good music too. Hank Williams Jr. Was playing when I walked in. Old school country. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, fries, and fried green tomatoes. Everything was good. I loved the tomatoes. A large basket for $5 with ranch for dipping. We had a great experience here yesterday! Our server was new-ish and not fully trained on the menu but she was friendly and our food came out as ordered. Our coffee never ran out because someone was always walking around the restaurant filling up cups. -Chicken Fried Steak and eggs: this was realllly good and a pretty big serving. -Bebo's platter: 2 scrambled and 1 fried egg with hashbrowns, meat and toast was the perfect size. -Kid's Pancake: this was huge and enough for 2 kids to share. We looked over the lunch/dinner menu and plan on returning for a burger. Glad to have such a great diner on our way home from camping trips! This spot is always packed and might therefore allude to great food but I find that the fare is ok, yet nothing special. Everything fried is done so in the same, unseasoned batter except the catfish, which should be fried in cornmeal but is more of a batter itself. I've eaten here 3 times over the past few years but haven't found anything worth raving about. The owner obviously loves Elvis Presley is is single-handedly trying to collect all memorabilia she can possibly fit into the joint. We live this place. It's just a short drive in the beautiful country from where we live. They have amazing fried catfish and fried shrimp. My husband loves the burgers. He gets them every time. I honestly dont know who would give this place less than the highest rating possible, as it was the some of the best, if not the best catfish, shrimp fries, pinto beans and cole slaw Ive ever eaten. No joke this was awsome and Ive eaten my share of the like. Its a no frills, funky little place that really does what they do incredibly well. I was seriously impressed and will be stopping by again when Im in the area. Everyone in our group had fish and fries, except me and my wife, we had fish and shrimp with huspuppies, fries, cole slaw and pinto beans but we all agreed that we would try something different the next time. By the way, I loved listening to Jerry Clower while in the mens room washing my hands. This would be an hour and a half drive one way for me and I wouldnt hesitate to do it just to eat here anytime. We tried this place twice as we are moving to the area and wanted to make it one of our places to go. Our waitress was a doll. The first time we went, the food was excellent. We had the special which was some chicken spaghetti thing. The second time we went, we were eating our food, although it wasn't as good as before, it was ok. We had the same waitress, and she was great. Here's the problem: as we sat there eating on this Tuesday afternoon, a guy came in, clearly from a pest control place (Denton county pest control) and he was spraying all around the baseboards and in the booths and down the little hall around the office. Then he went to the kitchen/bar area and was spraying there. We were watching this whole thing and so was another table of customers. I waved at our waitress and she tried to tell the guy, and the guy just waved her off and said he wasn't spraying over there by us. And he was clearly annoyed. We told our waitress to bring our check, and we were actually owed a dessert that came with our meal. We declined it. I asked who the owner was, and she pointed to this woman sitting at the bar working on her laptop, so I walked over to her and told her what happened. I told her we had really wanted to add this place to our regular restaurants since we are moving into the area, but that in light of them letting pest control spray while customers were there eating, we would never come back. To which she replied, "well don't blame that on us!" And I thought, "wow, really? Who SHOULD we blame it on? The waitress?" I blame two people here: the owner of Bebo's and DENTON COUNTY PEST CONTROL and their rude employee. I should've called and reported him too. Ridiculous. read more

Worst place ever!! The Co-owner Stephanie was very rude. We were a party of 25 people from our church and at the time to check out she added 30% gratitude not letting us know and some of us added additional tip, when she was questioned she was very defensive and rude. I asked her for her name and she said that her name was Stephanie and that her mom Kathy was the owner and she was the Co-owner. We will never come back to this place. Food is actually very good and the service is pretty good also. But be careful about getting charged for "extras". By extras I mean more gravy for a chicken fried steak. We discovered this unique gem while driving around...we were greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive. We ordered burgers with onion rings, fries and a side of mozzarella sticks...really wanted to try their desserts but was too full from the large, juicy and delicious burgers we had. Even though the fries were not fresh cut, the burgers were definitely fresh along with the fixings. The onion rings were quite tasty as well ( the crinkle fries were good but couldn't measure up to those burgers...YUM!) Though this quaint, eclectic, home-style cooking cafe is a bit of a distance from where we live, I would go back in a heartbeat! My family and I have eaten at Bebo's many times. We "Love" the catfish! It is some of the best if not the best I have ever had! I alway order catfish or the shrimp and They never disappoint.
