We tried this lovely cafe and absolutely had a wonderful time. My wife and I ordered the huge chicken fried steak..we could only eat half and I had the leftover for two more meals. $12.99. Had a side of mashed potatoes and side salad. The portions I saw of other patrons were also large. Our waitress was a sweet country girl who was very attentive. The owner and manager both came around to check on us several times and also just to shoot the breeze. Made us feel like family. I'm not a big Elvis fan but they had an Elvis impersonator there who was as good as I have ever seen. He was very attentive and sweet to the audience especially to the little senior citizens who were up and dancing to his music and giving him hugs. He was there from 6-9. His last song was Elvis's "American Trilogy" and as he dedicated it to the members of law enforcement and the military; everyone, in the cafe (about 50 people) stood up in a circle and held hands while singing along with "Elvis". It was a very moving and patriotic experience. You better believe we would go back again! read more

We stopped in on a motorcycle ride trying to locate unique cafes and this place was just what we were looking for. Neat and interesting decor especially if your like Texas stock car history and Elvis. Chicken fried steak was the best one I've had in years as it was obviously hand breaded and fresh; bring your appetite as it covers the entire plate. Sides were excellent and so was the service. The food was just so so but then again I've never been a big fan of instant mashed potatoes but the food could have been forgiven if the service was not so atrocious. Here's a hit server boy if you have a pitcher of tea visit all of your tables to refill the glasses. On a Sunday morning, I decided to try this place for breakfast. I ordered the 2 eggs, 2 meats and 2 slices of bread meal. I asked for sausage and bacon for the meats. The sausage was a little greasy, but not bad. The problem on this particular morning was that there was only one waitress that needs a lesson in customer service! When she brought my meal, she didn't ask if I needed anything else (like jelly for my toast). So, I had to walk up and ask her for some. Also, I had ordered coffee and only got the original cup! Even when the waitress filled the cups for two customers sitting a couple of tables away, she never bothered to look over at me, much less even think that I might need a warmup or refill. A sign in there reads: BYOB. I guess for breakfast it should say: BYOC! One more thing, there was an older couple that waited to check out for at least 10 minutes. I stood up there for about 5 so that I wouldn't miss being able to pay out if she ever came. After the older couple paid their bill and one other behind them, I stepped forward to pay and the waitress was just going to walk away!! We have lived in the area for about 10 years now, but somehow we missed this place. I guess they used to be in a smaller location and moved about 3 minutes North of their original place. Food and service are excellent! Love the chicken fried steak! My husband loves the burgers. Decor is nice. Although my cell service is horrendous in here, they offer FREE WIFI. Our party of 15 arrived for supper and listened to the Elvis Presley impersonator tonight......yes I said Elvis. Our waiter Shawn did a great job for such a large party. Fun place and good food! Tons of nostalgic decorations that are just plain fun to look around & see. Between the two of us we had taco salad, BLT and onion rings. All were very good. Wow, great atmosphere! It's a place where all ages can enjoy themselves equally. Elvis is still alive and makes himself stop in from time to time which brings out the hot grandmas to the dancefloor all sparkled up! The walls are all decorated in atiques and nicknacks that will keep all interested without having to be planted in front of a television. They have special intertainers on weekends, elvis being one. The all you can eat is what three of us got which is: catfish grilled or fried, with fries, hushpuppies, coldslaw, beans. The grilled was flavorful and juicy and melt in your mouth delicious. However, the fish was over salted, i would sudjest flavoring only one side. Also, best to skip out on the fries and focus more on the fish coldslaw and beans. read more

My parents had been telling us about this place for a while. So one Sunday we met them there for brunch. We started with friend green tomatoes. For lunch we had liver and onions, shrimp and catfish, bacon cheese burger and salad and everything was fantastic. GREAT food, service, and an amazing place to browse all the unique items displayed everywhere. Don't miss the extra room behind the garage door, as well as the hall and bathroom. The owners are apparently into racing everything with wheels and collecting Elvis memorabilia, and there is an amazing display of both, interspersed with a whole lot of other collectibles from several decades. A FUN place for families, couples, an anyone looking for real home-cooked GOOD food. Don't overlook the fried green tomatoes and we also recommend the bacon-cheeseburger which is HUGE and delicious (so were the onion rings which were included). This was our first time at Bebo's & Kathy's but it will definitely not be our last...although we will have to drive 40 miles one way... We will return soon. GREAT food, TERRIBLE service. Only reason I will most likely not come back and I've given 1 star. We walked in at 10:20 am. We were told to seat ourselves so we did. It was 10:35 am before we were even asked if we had been helped. The nice lady that wasn't even our waitress took our drink order and told our waitress that was over at the counter. When our waitress came to us all she said was "I was told a coffee and a dr. Pepper but no who it goes to" and set it down. She didn't say welcome or introduced herself. She then came back about 5 min later to say we only have 4 minutes to order breakfast... ARE YOU SERIOUS?! This was our first time and we haven't even seen a menu first. Not to mention we got there 30 min ago... every time we said thank you we got either a "mhm" or silence followed by her walking away. I finally got her name from hearing her say it on the phone over at the counter. Candy- when someone says Thank you, you say you're welcome, no problem or my pleasure. It's sad to experience this when we have heard great things about this place from all of our friends. read more

Always see lots of cars in the parking lot so decided to give it a try. I ordered the avocado burger. I am not sure what they were trying to pass off as avocado but it was translucent. ??? It looked scary so I scraped it off. The burger was ok but seriously what can you do to a burger? I ordered side salad instead of fries. The lettuce they served me should have been thrown out 2 days ago. I left the salad untouched. The server didn't ask if there was a problem with the rotting vegetables I didn't touch. Obviously didn't care. I won't be back. If you want good fresh food in Aubrey go to Mom's on Main. They never disappoint. read more

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE! If you want outstanding catfish and shrimp, this is the place to go. I am so devoted to these two meals at Bebo's that I have never tried anything else, but I imagine all of their food is fantastic. The atmosphere is very fun and relaxed. The waitresses are quick at delivering your food and very friendly. There are lots of fun things to look at all around the cafe while you eat their fabulous fixin's. Fun spot and friendly staff. The burgers were good but the fried catfish was the show stopper. Kathy N Bebo's recently relocated from Aubrey to their new building on the extreme south side of Pilot Point. We visited the new location for the first time at lunch today. The details in the décor are outstanding, the food was good but greasy and a little pricey. but anything good about this place is far overshadowed by the extremely poor and unfriendly customer service. When the waitress delivered our food she dropped the check at the table with the food and did not come back to see if we needed anything. A full drink spilled on our table and no one ever noticed as we all got up to clean it up ourselves off the table and benches. My wife ordered fried pickles and was unhappy with the presentation and the pool of grease in the basket. She only ate one pickle. She was finally able to flag down another waitress and asked if she could exchange the fried pickles for French fries, the waitress harshly responded "What is wrong with them?". My wife replied that she did not like them and there was a pool of grease in the bottom of the basket. The waitress snapped back a her with "well!! the fries will be the same" and left with the basket of pickles. When the regular waitress returned with the French fries she set an additional ticket on the table for the cost of the replacement fries. The lady at the cash register was extremely unfriendly as well. We did not enjoy our meal and will not be returning. read more

I try not to give bad reviews but our first and only experience that we had today was bad. We waited 45 minutes for our food while looking around other people that came after us were getting served before us. The décor of the place is awesome, but the service was just horrible. Our waitress only came three times to our table, once to take our orders, second time to bring our order and the third time was when I raised my hand and called out to her for our check. I didn't notice but my boyfriend did, that the waitress had given us our check before our food had even gotten to our table. I had requested a glass of orange juice and as our waitress never came to our table, I asked a passing waitress. She returns right away and say's that she told our waitress about my order. A different waitress brings my orange juice instead of our assigned waitress. Also, there was this older man that had an attitude problem that was sitting next to our table. As my boyfriend said, "stupid redneck man, trying to pick a fight with a lady." The man was sitting in the booth that was in front of the Daily Specials menu and as I was looking at the Daily Specials the older man kept giving me dirty looks and went so far as to tell me, "can I help you? Do you have a problem?" I had to grab my boyfriend's hands to not stand up and tell the older man something. I know the establishment can not control who their clientele are, but they can do something about the service. When we finally got our food, (pancake, 2 eggs, 2 meats with a side of hash browns; and chicken fried steak, 2 eggs, 2 meats and 2 bread with a side of a pancake) everything was cold! When we go to pay for our food, I asked the lady if it usually takes so long to get served. She said that normally no they are not so slow but that the kitchen just got backed up for some reason. I tell her that we waited 45 minutes to get our food and when we did everything was cold. She asked why we didn't return the food, and we told her because we could never get our waitress to our table. She was very apologetic for the service that we had but not so apologetic to give us a discount. A word of advice, if you do not know the waitress or one of the workers then you will have a long time to wait for your food. read more
