Always passed this place today decoded to order a burrito. My initial thought was to order ground beef burrito which they did not have. So ordered " asada " ez online ordering Picked up with no issues. Parking was available. Usually not the case. Both these " shopping centers " have very few spots anyway was extremely hungry couldn't wait to bite in. The beef was " gristle " no taste stood out a bit salty at parts of the burrito it wasn't cheap either $12.95 + tax. just heads up. I probably won't repeat Bummer. Man, what a delicious breakfast!!! Was in town to visit friend, on way out decided to try LaLa's. Just so happened I made it on Monday which is 1/2price breakfast tacos. Exactly what I came for! I got these delicious tacos for around $9 after tax and WITH a drink!! The service was polite and attentive, the ambiance is calm and welcoming. We arrived to Lala's as we drove around Prosper. We were greeted immediately. You order at the counter and then find your seat - very casual. Plenty of parking on site. My fiance ordered the LaLa's Tacos - which you were able to choose your meat. He enjoyed them. They were heavy as you can see there is a lot of cheese involved. He said he would go back and order the regular tacos now knowing how heavy these were. I got the chicken bowl with toppings on the side. Huge portion which was great. But I didn't like how the chicken was minced so finely it blended in with the beans. I prefer whole pieces of chicken and I didn't realize it came like this, as I wanted to be able to separately pick the chicken from the beans. Flavors were too salty for me. Stopped in today for the first time. Staff was friendly and there was no line so that was a plus. Nice and small establishment. The tacos however were only okay. Not super flavorful and loaded with grease. My hands and plate were covered in grease after the first bite. Also did not have much cilantro or many onions dices on my plate as they don't put them on the tacos. Not bad if you're in a hurry, but I'd prefer OMG tacos up the street. One chicken, shredded beef pastor all street style One steak lala style which has crispy outter cheese. All flour tortillas Elite and chips with queso, side of sour cream and one drink. Total was $26, as it was taco Tuesday. Great amount of food, tasty, all came out right and in a decent time. I will be going back with family. Everything was fresh. The elote was best I have ever had. It has great taste and I even added some to my tacos. The only thing I needed was a creamy salsa verde with a little heat. Good food for Mexican style grub especially around prosper! We had quesabirria tacos which were really good! Also a Campacheno and shredded beef taco, Lala's style is definitely the way to go! We got a small loaded elote as well, which was good, but no heat to it. Their hot salsa wasn't hot to us, but maybe it's because we usually eat pretty hot Chile and salsa. We got a quesadilla and beans for our toddler and he ate it all! We would go back and maybe try some other things too like the tortas. Picked up an Al Pastor taco, LaLa's style, which has crispy cheese under the blue corn tortilla. Mmmmmm so delicious. I also tried the Elote, and it was fantastic. Now I'm craving it while I'm writing this review. This is a great place for authentic Mexican food. And they write a unique message on each brown bag waiting for pick up here. Stopped in for lunch and while it was full we only had a short wait and were able to grab a table as someone walked out. The seating is limited. You order at the counter then take a seat and they bring your food out. We loved the pineapple Fresca drink - we didn't try the horchata. We ordered a smaller loaded elote and it was fantastic! Next our tacos came out. We ordered two to share so we could try both. The asada lala's style was my favorite but the al pastor was good just a little too salty in comparison. I am not a huge guac fan, but it made a great taco over the top good! Their street tacos are as good as anywhere in DFW, which translates to best in any other state. But get this...take your basic street taco tortilla and cover it in cheese on the griddle so that it now has a crispy cheese crust coating the tortilla and doubling its size! Now add all of the usual taco stuff and top it with the only guac I've ever had that actually improves the dish. That's Lala Style! Their tomatillo sauce has great flavor with little heat. The red sauce was super bright flavor and good heat. There was birria with great jus (dipping sauce? Gravy?). The Al pastor was great and had bits of fresh pineapple which is a great change of pace from the more typical grilled-with-the-meat pineapple. Taco Tuesday is $2 streets while I'll be back for 1/2 price Lala Style on Thursday. Other specials on other days, but I'm locked in on the tacos. I asked if this was a chain or the only Lala's...sadly, for now, it's the only one but worth any drive and I hope they rapidly expand soon! If you like tacos, try these. If you don't like tacos, you're wrong but should still come and try the other not-tacos on the menu, even tho I didn't notice what those were. read more

Love LaLa's, we are big fans of Tender, so this was a natural choice. Very flavorful, I am a huge fan of the Asada Torta. The Asada could be slightly better, but overall very good. Love the dipping sauce, their Horchata is pretty great too. The fried cheese that they have on most menu items sets them apart! read more

A Much Needed Spot for Flavorful Mexican Food! LaLa's Taqueria is a saving grace for quick, decent Mexican food in the area. While it's not quite on the level of Torchy's, which we don't have nearby, it absolutely does the job when you're craving something satisfying. This isn't a spot for fancy plating or elevated dining, it's casual, fast, and flavorful. The prices are a bit steep for what you get, and the chips could use some improvement, but the main dishes made up for it. We ordered the queso, quesabirria taco and an asada quesadilla, and both were really good. The salsas on the side were excellent, finally a place around here that doesn't hold back on flavor. The atmosphere is laid back, which fits the experience. We're already looking forward to going back. read more
