My husband is pretty handy but after several attempts and not getting it to work we decided to pursue a repair service. We specifically chose a mobile repair because nobody wants to hook their trailer up and tow it down to the repair shop. I called several mobile RV repair businesses and Rick was not only the most responsive, but he tried to problem solve the issue with me on the phone before he even came out. When that didn't work we scheduled a time for him to come to the house. I also chose Rick because he could get out to the house within a reasonable amount of time (I think it was 1-2 weeks). Several others told me they didn't have availability for 4+ weeks! Rick also had competitive and fair prices for his service. Once Rick was out here he let my husband support the repair and learn more about the RV, talking him through what he was checking and teaching him along the way. He genuinely cared that my husband learned more about what he was doing. I think that's a huge testament to quality repair workers. Rick solved the fridge mystery, fixed our RV fridge, and we can now use it on propane, the generator, and a home plug-in! We even tested it out on a week long trip and had no problems! They sent a text with pictures of what they found and explained anything/everything I asked about. Again, very much appreciated! I ended up needing new lower front rocker arms & bushings. They also performed an alignment (due to rocker arm replacement) oil change, tire balance & rotation and replaced the engine filter. I could see it was needed based on photos sent via the text. Jake found a replacement kit that included arms and bushings which saved me some money. Yay They also found the tires had been rotated improperly for an AWD. The owner met me at the RV storage and even though the water in the pipes were semi frozen already, he reassured me that there was another way to deliver the antifreeze. Long overdue review! After six months with no auto defects, I think I can give a proper review on…read morethe services received at A1! Long story short, I had a bumper which was damaged and required a replacement. However, I would find out that the auto repair that I went to before A1 was trying to have me have my car "totaled" as they deemed the damages too great to repair, despite it was only the bumper being damaged. Desperate to save my car, I ran around town looking for a repair shop willing to replace my bumper and not have my car totaled. I found Dena Greenlee with A1 and after listening to my story she told me to come by. She listened attently to the issues and had the repair technicians assessed my photos. A rough price was quoted and there was an arrangement to have my car picked up and towed over. Before Christmas (roughly 3 weeks in all), I got my car back! I can't say how thankful I am to A1! Having to go through a car accident is very traumatic, so do go through your insurance and coordinate with them about what are your best options. See if you can come by to have your vehicle serviced at A1 and hopefully have your car fixed!
