We had stopped in Reno to get tires for our buddy's trailer and noticed we needed a tire which looked like it was about to blow. When we checked the tire we saw the leaf spring had broke. It was 4:30 on a Saturday and needed help fast. We called many places but all places service was closed or about to close. We luckily found Mobile Welding and Terry came to our rescue! He has us call Featherlite for the part which was minutes from closing and they stayed open for Terry to pick up the part for us. Terry you are a godsend! We unexpectedly ran into trouble while camping in Nevada - our travel trailer broke down (wheel bearing blew out) on Highway 80 just out of Elko on our way home towards California. We called AAA roadside service - they coordinated a tow to Reno and found a repair shop. A mobile welding and trailer service repair shop. This was a Sunday, mid-morning. Once we arrived in Reno the tow truck dropped our trailer at the shop where Terry was waiting for us (on a Sunday late afternoon). He quickly assessed our issue, gave us a quote and said he will have us on the road the next morning - since parts were necessary to complete the repair. Terry did as promised Monday morning. Very professional, courteous with tons of knowledge. If we lived in Reno Terry would be our first choice, but we live in Cali and can only hope to find a "Terry" in our neighborhood! Amazing service! The reducer got rusted into our trailer hitch and we needed out for Burning Man. Terry drove to our house and made multiple attempts before finally using his plasma cutter and a TON of elbow grease to get that rusted sucker out of there. I have never seen such determination in an individual. I had been calling all over Reno looking for someone to even just try to get it out and was getting nowhere. Ok I bought a set of aluminum utv wheels one had a crack. Called Terry and he said no problem. I took him the wheel at 3:00 and he messaged me it was done about 5:00 after I told him no hurry . Well I asked to it up later he said no problem. I set it up for the next morning at 9ish. Well I showed up early without calling first. Terry wasn't home when I called he was eating breakfast (all my fault) I told him to take his time I would wait. Two minutes later he is knocking on my car door with the wheel! He ran home from a restaurant. Who does that? Leaves a warm breakfast for something totally not his fault! Well he explained to how I should treat the repair and off I went at quoted price. He said let him know if I had any issues. Well being a mechanic and not a welder I must say the weld looked perfect and complete! I put a new tire on and have gone riding not taking it easy and well I must again Thank You Terry on a job well done. I highly recommend him for your needs. A few weeks back one of the leg supports on my elliptical cracked nearly in half, completely disabling the machine. The replacement part costs approx. $280 dollars or roughly half the amount of a new elliptical. Found Mobile Welding after searching the internet and was able to get in the same day for a repair. Mobile Welding repaired the leg support in about twenty minutes (and it's still going strong today) and for under $50. Needless to say I was quite happy with the experience. read more
