One if the most important things we had to get taken care of was the 2 foot high grass and incredibly neglected property! Yikes. I was given the name of All Terrain Landscape and called them and Charles came by that same day! I told him what I wanted and he said, "that's not a problem, we can certainly make this property look just like you want it". The grass needed cutting, the lawn needed edging, it was overrunning the driveway and sidewalk, the hedges in front of our glorious porch, were SO high you couldn't see anything but hedge when sitting on the porch. The backyard, was so overgrown you couldn't make your way around the back of the house, it was like a jungle back there! Well, Charles and his two amazing workers, showed up and make quick work, (7 hours) of taking this sad, sad looking property and turning it into exactly what I pictured in my minds eye! I could not be any happier. Charles came back the following week and mulched all the newly cut beds! He will be taking care of my property for as long as we are living here. If I could give this company zero stars, I would. I typically, never give bad reviews and usually…read morejust chalk up poor quality of service as a loss. However, whenever I perceive that the exchange between myself and a merchant is intentional deception, that is when a company has crossed the line with me. As an officer in the United States Air Force, there are core values like Integrity First, Service Before Self and Excellence in All You Do that I would expect any servicing company to adhere to. But that was not the case with Mr. Charles Dewitt. My husband and I hired Mr. Dewitt on January 9, 2020 to weed and feed (100 lbs worth) and to cut the lawn with the promise that by the end of January, we would begin to see the weeds die. He went on to say that by the end of Feb, we will see the grass thickening and growing. Finally, he said that our lawn was going to end up "looking better than our neighbors". The total for the service was $320.00. What we got instead was a bunch of empty promises (flat out lies) and pre-emergent weed and feed that did absolutely nothing. Although, the mowing and the edging was satisfactory, I would not consider that worthy of $320.00. When we followed up with Mr. Dewitt to inquire as to why we were not seeing the results that he had promised, he stated that we now needed to wait until the end of March. So we waited until the end of March and called him back when the lawn seem to be getting worse. Then his response was: we needed to wait until the middle of April. His claim was that "weeds would starting dying off as the weather gets warmer". This did not make sense to me or my husband. But we waited until the middle of April. Again, his claim was not true as you can see by the pictures attached. When we called back a final time to work out a resolution with Mr. Dewitt, his final response was "well you have grass don't you?" A totally inappropriate and unprofessional exchange. I would NOT use this company to landscape desert land! Please stay clear of this company or you will be disappointed as we were.

They were everything I wish we had the first time around: communicative, collaborative, efficient, knowledgeable, I could go on and on. Michael, "Smiley", and his guys did a fantastic job on my house, the end result looks amazing and…read morethe process was smooth, friendly, and easy. The lintel above my garage, which is the long piece of metal that spans the width of the garage and holds up the brick above the garage door, was sagging, which means the bricks were also sagging, no longer straight or level, and the grout was cracking severely on both sides. Clearly the original builder used a lintel that was too short, it only overlapped the sides by a few inches and it should overlap by about a foot. I was concerned the bricked above the garage could collapse and come crashing down. See all the pictures. Michael came out to asses, gave me a price right then and there m, and we made the deal on a handshake. He came to the house when he said he would each time, communicated regularly via text and in person, brought out his extremely capable mason team when needed and got the job done in reasonable time with incredible results. They removed and reset each individual brick, every row of bricks above my garage all the way up to the roof, and they *cleaned and reused* every brick so they would match the rest of the house perfectly. The end result is truly astonishing, it actually looks better, straighter and more uniform, than I could have imagined, it literally looks better than new. See photos. The grout cracks are all fixed just as he promised and they look amazing. His price was extremely fair and very competitive with other bids. I 100% recommend Michael Smiley for your masonry work and I will absolutely call him first, without a doubt, for my masonry needs in the future. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
