Leave that at home, ya'll because Anne-Marie provides all of that. One stipulation is if you have a long drive ahead of you, it might be a good idea to bring a vase. A tall paper cup is what you are provided and gets a little soggy as time passes. My kids are 5 and 3 and they both had so much fun picking flowers. We picked zinnias, sunflowers, strawflowers, daisies and cosmos. We purchased 2 bouquets and with that amount made 4 bouquets at home. It's amazing how many flowers fit in a tall paper cup. I'm not sure if dahlias are ever available but that is one flower I would love to be able to pick a bouquet of. Totally thinking of having my kids' bday party here next summer. Really such a great experience to get kids closer to nature.

We brought our own wine and snacks which is encouraged. Open cutting of gorgeous selections of flowers. Many beautiful choices including sunflowers that are stunning. The owner has very well maintained paths and bundles your selections for the ride home. This is her second career and she does it well. She is very welcoming. There are tables and chairs but feel free to bring your own. So peaceful. Great girls night out event.

Abby was incredibly communicative and understanding throughout the planning process, especially when we needed to reschedule after our original date no longer worked. We chose the à la carte party option, where everyone purchased their own terrarium, and it was the perfect setup for our group. Abby guided us through each step of the terrarium-building process, answered every question, and still gave us plenty of time to relax, socialize, and enjoy the evening without feeling rushed. There was an impressive variety of plants, containers, and decorations, making it easy to create something unique at a wide range of price points. Whether you're planning a private event or just stopping in to create something fun, I highly recommend Abby's Garden Parties. Yard is well organized with lots of space and a lot of inventory of each item. This is rock heaven. The lot is a little dusty (or I'm guessing if recently rained, muddy) so dress accordingly. While I was there today (and I'm just a home owner/DIYer) I saw contractors come and go, but also some female home owners too, buying anything from a few rocks to stuff to fill a little tow behind trailer. Everyone that worked with me, and everyone that I saw helped, were given the same great service and treated with respect. If you are a homeowner/DIYer you can have confidence that you'll be treated well here! Parking is in a paved lot next to the office and steps for the yard. Prices were very affordable!!!

I happened upon it during a walk. This place has lots of native plants for landscaping, as well as beautiful and healthy flowering plants, fruit and vegetable plants, shrubs, trees, mulch and lots more. They have a small variety of indoor plants, but not much. The nice woman behind the counter told me so when I wandered into the checkout area to look at the indoor plants. They do have some nice succulents and rubber plants, though. Plus pottery and garden tchotchkes. There's also a greehouse that houses the more delicate outdoor plants and starts. It was nice to walk around and be surrounded by so much greenery. When I visited on a weekday, there were lots of people around to help and answer questions. Everyone I encountered was friendly, but they also knew when to just leave you alone and let you (me) bask in the beauty of plants.

The Santa was so jolly and sweet and my kids were all smiles the entire time. We had time to take pictures without a crowd around which we really enjoyed as well, and I'm definitely making these shots our family Christmas cards for the year! I'd love if there was a way for the farm to cover the train and tractor with a clear tarp if possible so that it wouldn't be so cold while you're looking at the lights. But also understand that you will be outside on about a 20 minute ride while you enjoy the lights so make sure you bundle up!

First, the pricing for entrance at the register didn't state what was charged for children under 16. Instead I paid the adult price for myself and two kids under age 6. The farms website says children up to age three pay $5. My son just turned three. Not a huge deal but kind of annoying. For $30 we couldn't go on the train or the big slide or the fossil dig. We could go on the cow train but I never found anyone standing near it. Did I have to go find someone? I still have no idea. My son wanted to do it. The fun things we did do were play in the 'sand' (more like fine gravel) play area, see the pigs and goats and pick pumpkins to buy. One thing we wanted to do but didn't was the bounce pad. It was filthy! Covered in sun baked mud. My oldest was really disappointed. The staff here were nice when we interacted with them, but they all seemed very preoccupied with talking amongst one another. I waited quite a while to have someone tally up my pumpkin order. No one seemed to know who was in charge of that task. I will say I bought a fair number of pumpkins and was fully expecting the total to be over $50 and it was only $29. So I guess I am calling it even on the overcharge for entry.

I'm considering setting up one Sunday - I have plenty of items to sell and the terms are very reasonable. It's a little out of the way but not too far out. Also nearby are several restaurants on 32 and a really nice putt putt course at Birdies.
