Releasing a child to a parent who isn't signed on a contract while failing to answer repeated calls from the contracted parent. Resulting in child being whisked way for a week to unknown destination or knowing the well being of my child. AAW further failed to even own up or apologize. Questionable billing statements and contrived fees. Poor food quality. Violating Hippa law, discussing billing matters with people other than the contracted parties I have found the owner and daughter to be repeatedly dishonest. I was called to pick my son up due to throwing up. They didn't tell me he had been pushed and hit the back of his head Then started throwing up. In the past we spent so much at this store that one time the person ringing us up commented about it. They saw something in the system (connected to our phone number) about our total spent YTD and their eyes got wide, so we explained what we do for our business and that what they could see was just for their location. What I am saying is... we have a pulse on what is a good and fair price for these sort of things. I looked at a couch not to long ago at this location. It was half off. The price was still, with the discount, over $1600. When you pay 0% for your inventory you should not be charging consignment prices. Full stop. It is a poor business choice. The idea is to turn over the inventory because more is coming while passing on a lovely savings to your customers. Not hang on to it while it collects dust because you've out priced the new items being manufactured. Know your customer base and price accordingly. We have left empty handed from this store every single visit this year (2026) because the prices have skyrocketed. For reference, we were looking for a washer and dryer...found one brand new at Lowe's cheaper than this Restore had (used no less). That is why I am writing this review. If the free inventory you receive is higher priced than the brand new inventory from the original store...well...here's your sign. So, we will likely have to drop this store from our rotation because time is precious and we cannot waste trips when we could find a better resource to take its place. That's just how it goes, I guess, but it saddens us because we like to support good causes and keep things out of the dump.
