For the longest time, I have wanted a Sodastream machine. I like the idea of making my own fizzy drinks and feeling classy sipping them. I like the thought of reducing the number of cans and bottles I use when buying pop and sparking drinks. Every little bit helps. I noticed in my inbox that Bed Bath & Beyond had a $20 coupon of an entire order. I decided to use it towards my new Sodastream machine. I also ordered a bottle of raspberry mint syrup to get started on my adventure making fizzy drinks. I ordered online and used my coupon to get $20 off my order. I chose to pick up both items. The minor problem? The Sodastream model that I wanted was available at my local Markham location and not at this store. My raspberry mint syrup was in stock here, but not at the Markham store. Yes, I visited two different Bed Bath & Beyond stores within two hours. It was nice getting reacquainted with them. This store is with a bunch of box stores, including Winners, PetSmart, Best Buy, and more. There was plenty of parking on a Saturday afternoon. I browsed around the store. It was clean and bright. I looked at hand sanitizer and masks, and planted myself in the small appliances section for the longest time. I went to the pickup counter. My wait wasn't long. I gave the woman my name and a brief description of my item. She went to a couple of locked cabinets to fetch my bottle of beverage syrup. I provided photo ID (yay to an expired driver's licence that is valid these days during this pandemic) and the bottle was mine. I thanked her and left. On my way out the door, I was mesmerized by a cute Sun Bum ape mascot holding a tube of lip balm. I looked like such a tourist taking a photo of him. Sadly, he wasn't for sale. Otherwise, I would have bought him on impulse. I had a great experience picking up my order. I'll come back and shop here in a few years... haha! (224)

On this particular day, it was raining and I felt badly as the rep did not have an umbrella. It is much appreciated the work that these folks do to keep the business running smoothly. You also need to trust the order to ensure it is accurate. I had ordered some towels and bedsheets with no issues. It was also silicone and was going for a reduced price of $2. As much as I loved the food and kitchen accessories, everything else in the store wasn't as interesting to me. Maybe I have visited too many HomeSense stores with cool items as of late. Other than my two items that I purchased, everything else was okay. I eventually made it to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a cheerful woman who helped me with my transaction. All went well. I'll come back down the road to check out the store some more. HomeSense stores have brand name merchandise for any room in your home including art, furniture, lighting and rugs. The consumer target market is drop-in customers as you can't shop on-line (...which is currently the case). On any given week they can stock a product you may never see stocked again. Other HomeSense stores may not have the same product on hand. If you like it, then I suggest you buy as you can always return it if you change your mind. Staff are helpful and checkouts are fairly quick.

This is a mini update for the new store. They have half floor of this building to themselves now…read more The new space is bright and has an airy feel. An added cafe with a few seats as well. The menu at the cafe seemed limited though. What keeps me coming back is the unmatched selection especially towards the higher end of the market. The prices are competitive so that's a bonus. The service has been great so far with my dealings at this store. I usually visit this location to get ideas about those hard to buy for friends. Some brands worth mentioning are Alessi, Hermes, Versace by Rosenthal, Christophle etc. They have the most extensive selection for these brands I have encountered. If you like housewares this store is a must visit IMO. 4.5 stars.

i have been shopping at ashley my whole life because i am a torontonian. today i had to buy a…read morewedding gift the old fashioned way, go to a store , look at the merchandise, make my decision and make my purchase......lol. i found a speglia (spelling) water or wine vessel and 4 matching bourbon glasses i was delighted because they were on sale which made me happier. please don't let this way of shopping disappear we need it in our society ,on line shopping is great but i wan't to see and feel the merchandise like we did in the old days. my sales lady was UTA what a pleasure dealing with her , old fashioned customer service , the way i like it. i don't want to buy everything on line , i long for the old days.
