The free app is simple to use and provides pictures & reports showing what and where my dog has been on her walks. The photos of how happy my dog is during her walks never fail to brme joy. Kerry M. was our vet and she walked us through every step, educated us, was patient, and was so kind to Iverson and us. I had to cancel the first appointment because I was not ready to say goodbye. They offer a cancellation window up to 4 hours before your appointment and allow you to carry over your deposit to when you reschedule, with no extra fee. So thankful for this understanding. The cost may feel steep, but the in-home service is so so worth it. Iverson had his last meal while the pain meds were administered. It was a distraction where he didn't even notice. He felt safe and comfortable in his home, surrounded by family and on his favorite couch. He was then given a sedation medicine where he drifted into a nap on my chest. When the final medicine was given, he felt no pain as he crossed the rainbow bridge. I have heard horror stories from other in home service companies. I had 3 friends use Caring Pathways and that is why we went with them. I am so grateful and thankful that we chose to work with Caring Pathways. It helps with acceptance and closure and provides a peaceful passing. I will forever recommend them to other family and friends who need to say goodbye to a family pet member.
