While we were out in Fort Collins, we figured to grab new things for the hellhounds at The Mausoleum. This place had some good rolled cheeks for a reasonable price, and it is their favorite. We also found a few decently durable toys with ropes in them so the barking dorks at home think their new toys aren't detroyed seconds after they get them. Some prices are a bit high, though, even for this goblin. All in all; Decent place to hit up.

They make sure they are altered, have vaccines, microchip and any other care that they might need prior to adopting them out. They also are good at doing reference checks to do their best to make sure that the animals will be going to a good or appropriate home for them. As a volunteer, they have been wonderful to work with. i have 2 teens that i volunteer with and their lives have been much enriched by being able to walk the dogs. The staff at animal friends is friendly and helpful. And the training provided beforehand helps them to know you are committed to coming and being a regular at their facility. They took some down time for covid but have since began opening up volunteer slots. We highly enjoy working with them and i know many people who have adopted from them and loved the process!

Within 5 minutes of Kaitlin working with him, he was happily entering his kennel and waiting patiently when we left the room for a few minutes at a time. After interviewing several trainers we made an instant connection with Kaitlin who has 3 German Shepherds of her own. In one visit she had our dog who has never walked on a leash walking by our side and sitting on command. Kaitlin is incredibly patient with both us and our wild new family member and I look forward to working with her until our puppy learns all her manners. Thank you Kaitlin!
