I tried to change it myself, but the previous owner had cut out the door hole in a weird spot making it tough for my amatuer, two left thumbed self to handle, so I threw in the towel and called a professional. I called all Access and could tell guy was probably on the road as I was on speaker phone. I told him what I wanted and that I was available this week. He scheduled me in on Saturday morning. I asked him if 10 am was ok, to which he replied, well 9:30 works better. No problem I tell him, thats fine, see you Saturday at 9:30. Saturday morning, 9:30 rolls around and no locksmith. I have to google his number again to call him. I get in touch with him and asked him what happened? No show, no call? He replies "who is this? I'm sorry I don't remember, and my calender must not have updated your appointment". He then tells me he's sorry and he's gonna do his best to squeeze me in later that afternoon. Not, "I'm on my way right now, I'm sorry, I missed your appointment", but "My calender screwed up, I'll try to get you in this afternoon or we'll make another apointment..." So I've wasted all morning waiting around and now am expected to stand by again?? I don't think so, another locksmith came, and happily took my money. It's really unfortunate that I have to write this review. I drove to the shop personally to discuss…read morethe issue with the store manager Steve so that he could see the issue instead of simply taking my word for it. We moved into a new home that had mul t lock installed and Loved the product, but needed to change the locks. The previous owner had very sturdy keys that never gave us an issue... held up for well over 10 years of use, as a good key should... especially at mul t lock quality and prices. We get an entire lock setup at the end of 2022. Three different people consistently use keys in our home. In 2025, my husband noted his key was bending right across the middle of the key where there's a deep circle etched as part of the configuration. He ended up breaking the key in the door accidentally and we paid for cross county locksmiths to come out, remove the key from the door, and give us a new key. I figured stuff happens, just get it fixed. Late 2025, early 2026 I noticed my key was starting to crack at the edges along the same area my husband's key broke. I called the company and told them we'd used their services twice before, the last time to remove the broken key from the door. I wanted to know if they honor their product and work. He told me to come in but my schedule simply didn't allow at the time, especially since the place is not in the direction of anything I need to do. It's very out of the way. Since then my mother's key also starts bending across the SAME area... that's officially 3 keys now. I take the time yesterday to finally go in person, thinking that any good business would see the keys all failing at the same area and realize there's an issue. What response did I get? "I've been in this business for many years and have never had this happen, it must be the ways you guys are using the keys." 3 different people who have used keys all their lives, never had this issue with keys snapping and failing so quickly, and ALL 3 of us are the issue? That doesn't even make sense. Steve then proceeds to tell me that he can cut the deep circles more shallow and that would probably help...i definitely agreed. BUT... he wanted us to pay for the re-do. I don't think so. He then proceeded to say he could discount the keys. Again I don't think so when there is clearly an issue with the keys. Why would I pay your company again when you're not even honoring your work now? Am I supposed to just replace keys every 2-3 years? Makes no sense. I then asked if he could find out from someone else higher, being that we had used their services twice already. He said he'd call and find out. Today, he called me to confirm that his boss said no way, but that we could pay for a service call to come out and check the lock. Sir, at this point I'm not paying for anything additional with your company bc this is poor customer service. If you're willing to cut the keys more shallow, that means you clearly see there's an issue with the current keys that making a more shallow cut would fix. A good company with great customer service would acknowledge that there's clearly an issue. If this has never happened before, maybe these customers got a bad batch of keys. Let's give them the benefit of the doubt, replace the keys with the more shallow cut, and if it happens again then they'll need to pay for the keys. The fact that you want us to pay you again when I already see that you're not willing to honor the work is ridiculous. Especially when you said your techs check the locks at each visit to make sure they're aligned properly, etc. Horrible customer service, would not recommend or use again. Now we have to find another mul t lock dealer to deal with this key issue before they break completely. See attached photos of 2 of the 3 keys that are cracking and breaking along the same area.
