I promise all of you please do not go to this dentist. Every single time I'm waiting in the waiting room for almost an hour. The most ridiculous time was when I got my wisdom removed, I had an appointment at 9 and tell me why I got seen at almost noon. And the dentist rushed the process after THEY were behind. I healed so terrible. They didn't give me a syringe to clean it, so I went back. But, this is not uncommon for them to be unprofessional. They just want money and don't care about your time/health. The office was very organized and clean. All staff were nice. I went in for the $59 exam, cleaning and X-rays and left with a suggestion to have services costing $13,000. I've had regular dental care my entire adult life and have never been told I had any dental issues. In fact, m I haven't spent that amount for ALL the dental care I've had in my life. It felt like the $59 offer was to lure in clients then gouge them with a massive bill for suggested additional services. Never received it. Took a bit more to fill out the questionnaire only to be told I had 15 minutes left. No prior warning of tight set schedule. Money grab!! I had an appointment here 6 months ago after not being able to be seen for a year a half. I knew there was gonna be some issues with my teeth. They kept trying to fear monger gingivitis and that I would need this new high tech service to save my teeth. They explained to me various new services and that I would need an onlay on one tooth. Afterwards I was quoted $4-5k!!! I stuck with a basic cleaning and when I got up to the front desk, the woman was trying to pressure the idea of getting all of these services done to which I said was way too expensive and she seemed to take offense and almost annoyed I wasn't falling for the money grab. Safe to say I never returned and found a new dentist who is way more affordable. He said there would be no point in trying to get an onlay and that these modern dentistries try to charge an arm and a leg for these supposed "high tech" services. They also explained to me it's common for them to fear monger gingivitis and periodontal disease is the real concern. This place needs to care more about their clients and less about money. So glad I found somewhere better and didn't listen to the bs they were trying to feed. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The facility is nice, clean and conveniently located in the newly developed Bedford plaza. The dentist has absolutely no bedside manner, is extremely condescending, dry and absolutely not personable at all. I was concerned getting an X-ray due to the fact that I'm breastfeeding. The tech, who was very friendly said she understood and went to speak with the dentist. The office is literally right next to the x ray room. You can hear silence after she told him. This already made me uncomfortable. He came over and said, "if you don't get an X-ray, I won't be able to do anything for you. It's not going to do anything to your breastfeeding." This response, true or not did not help reassure me or make me feel comfortable at all. I told him I don't feel comfortable because I didn't think I'd need some, and they have some of my x rays from their other location which I was hoping he could just refer to. He told me "this is my first time seeing you so you need to do the X-ray or I can't give you a full exam". I told him I just wanted to get a cleaning done and he told me not without the x rays and continued to tell me about insurance. I understand there is a protocol for everything, and had his approach been different and more reassuring, maybe I would have felt more comfortable. Because of the way he took care of the situation, i ultimately decided I was going to decline altogether. Also, refusing to even pull up or use my previous x rays in combination to his response, made me feel like this was a money grab to milk the insurance as much as they can. All in all, I would rather go to another office that expresses more compassion to situations, who cares to build a rapport with their patients and actually takes the time to kindly educate patients to make them comfortable, rather than a money first approach. ESPECIALLY because dentistry is a very personal and who wants to sit there with someone for a cleaning that doesn't even care to make them comfortable!? read more

I scheduled an appointment for my annual exam and quarterly cleaning. Unfortunately, I left without receiving the cleaning because the doctor insisted on a 'deep cleaning' that cost over $2300, with $738 out of pocket. Despite my request for the standard cleaning covered by my insurance, which I've always received, they refused. It felt like they were trying to pressure me into accepting their costly option. All of this happened after they told me how great my teeth looked with no cavities and minimal issues. I will NOT be returning to this office. Update: I received a second opinion from a dentist office down the street and they said that everything looked great and all I needed was a normal cleaning. This is my first visit in a while to a dentist office. I was extremely nervous but as soon as I finished my check in with front desk, i was calm because I was greeted with kindness and patience. Took X-rays and explained to me their process of the cleaning based on the health of my teeth. Not a cookie cutter cleaning. Which I really appreciated because my teeth aren't like everyone else's. Honesty and patience goes along way, especially with something that can make my teeth in better shape than I arrived. Everything's clean and organized.. and an easy flowing vibe. Everyone's so kind and gentle even when making conversation. I've already brought my child here for her first check up and loved it so I came back for myself! I was happy with the dentist, but the office staff was a different story. The officer manager and one other staff member tried to add fees to my visit. When I was in the dentist chair waiting to have my teeth cleaned, a young girl from the front office came in and told me I would need to pay $15.00 cleaning fee. I told her, I had no co-pay for a cleaning. She insisted I needed to pay a $15.00 cleaning fee. After a few minutes she changed from $15.00 to $10.00 and then it became a co-pay. When I said no, and started to get of the chair, she said; oh, your co-pay is $5.00. The office staffer followed me to the front desk and wanted to brook my next appointment, I told her I didn't think I would be returning. I then paid $5.00 for my office visit. About an hour later I received a voicemail from the office manager wanting me to call her to book my next appointment. I called the office manager; I told her what happened, and she said, you have a $5.00 co-pay on your cleaning. I told her, I was looking at my policy and I have a 0 co-pay. The she got a little snotty and said, prove it. I called the insurance company, and they confirmed my 0 co-pay. I explained what happened to the insurance company and told them, I don't understand how I can go from $15.00 to $10.00 to $5.00 for a cleaning fee then call it a co-pay. 30-days later, I received a letter from the insurance company. The letter stated they spoke with the office manager who said, I miss understood the additional fee, as if was for a Prophylaxis cleaning which was $5.00. Sorry, I heard what both staff-members said and both of them were trying to collect additional frees that didn't exist. I know it doesn't sound like much money, but it adds up. read more

They were very professional and clear up front of all or any of my charges. Didn't push to upsell anything at all. They were very informative from the start. The service and care was even more welcoming. I needed a little extra time and they were willing to fit me in on my schedule. You need to watch out for this place. Front desk is very kind, but Dr. Roquiz is not personal or caring at all. Thankfully my sister works in the dental industry, specifically handles insurance at her office, so she warned me how they outstandingly over charged me. Also gave me a ridiculous dental "plan" that was insanely priced. I actually got charged half the price at another location for just the first procedure they were advising me to have done. I have PPO and they didn't even offer me my standard cleaning for my first visit. I needed wisdom teeth pulled out and they were charging me $125 out of pocket for every 15 mins of anesthesia after insurance. The office I ended up going to only used laughing gas, which they charged me only a one time $200 for, and I didn't feel a thing when the teeth were pulled. read more

Doctor was great. Hygienist was great. Billing was terrible. We were told $1600 for everything. EVERYTHING meaning all treatments, fees, taxes, everything everything. When it came down to making payment, we were charged an additional $500, then an additional $300. So around $2400 when the treatment plan said $1600. I called the office today to get a detailed statement. They said they'd email it to me right away. And I get no email. The location is so convenient. Dental treatments were great. Doctors and hygienists were great. But a very frustrating experience with billing. Several different costs and numbers given. Each bill with anywhere with a $2k-$4k difference. Asked for itemized bills for all services rendered plus estimate of services still needed because of the discrepancies in every estimate they provided us. Couldn't have been more clearer than that but continue to get the run around and blame placed on us and told that was what they were going to do. A week of back and forth to get this information. When receptionist couldn't answer our first inquiry on the bill, they promised to send correct bill same day. Get it since they're not the one doing the billing. 3 days pass and call back and another promise to send. Another 3 days goes by so we call back again. Promised in 30 min and nothing. Call next day and she ensures it was sent out the day before but we even checked our junk mail and nothing. Sent to my other email address while on the phone and get within seconds. Hey, I'm willing to give a benefit of a doubt. Look over bill and nothing that states what costs we still owe. Call back on hold twice for over 10 minute and we get timed out and hung up. When we finally get through to her she says quite frustrated "you don't have any bills because you're paid to date"... but what do I owe to complete the entire procedure??!!! How difficult is it to get this info? Finally got the bill with estimates for future services and yet again does not match up to what she told us over the phone. I don't think they are shady, I think their billing procedure is not patient friendly to understand so it actually confuses them as well, hence, the difference of $1000's in every quote. But after numerous different $ thrown out there it definitely doesn't make you feel good or trust this dental office. I think I would've been more understanding , however, no apologies and tried to gaslight us and make us feel like we don't know what we're talking about. Well geez that's why we are asking for clarity but how do you throw out all sorts of different numbers every time we ask. Saw the great reviews here so maybe we're one off but this was quite the most frustrating experience to get accurate information. My husband is in finance and even he couldn't figure out their billing statements. We're not here to argue, just want to pay and be charged fairly and correctly. This is just our honest experience. Edit: realized someone else had pretty much the same experience as us. So I guess we're not a one off as thought. read more

The Dentist, Hygienist and staff were all friendly and informative. The office is clean and beautiful. Beautiful new office, high tech X-ray system gave way better images with more definition than I've ever seen. The receptionist and dental assistant were super sweet, informative and answered all of my questions and helped when I was feeling overwhelmed.
