Popped in to Bedoe's today for a quick bite at the bar. Melissa was tending. She ran the bar and all of the tables in the bar (it was a full house!) with confident ease and a cheerful smile. We ordered a grilled chicken wrap with coleslaw and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich with tater tots. Everything was excellent. The standout for me was their homemade coleslaw. Might sound unremarkable, however, it was outstanding. They make it fresh there and shred their own carrots. Not sure if you have recently shredded your own versus buying them pre cut or shredded. It makes a massive difference in quality, texture and flavor. It was Not lost! Hands down the best coleslaw I have had outside of being at my mom's table! The grilled chicken wrap was also done perfectly. Just enough to keep it tender and moist (I know, that word makes people cringe. What other is there to describe it though!)! The egg sandwich was like your grandma would make on crunchy bread well toasted and more than enough to fill you up! Crispy tater tots that my husband said were delicious. I'm at this place regularly and have nothing but great things to say regarding to food and atmosphere. In the past few months they got a new server, Mia, who is a joy to have as my waitress. I wish I could get her every time, she's extremely attentive and a polite young lady. Hopefully everyone has the blessing to have her as your waitress. read more

Today is Veterans Day, my Army buddy and I went to Bedoe's for lunch expecting some sort of recognition. Most good restaurants give a free meal but not this place, they said we're offering 10% off! whopee! A slap in the face to us Vietnam Veterans that put our lives at risk! Is that only worth 10%? Veterans deserve more. however food was good and server was excellent. We were back in Georgia visiting and decided to go to Bedoe's. Full disclosure, we've known the Owner Gary for over 20 years but this is only the 2nd time we've been here. Had lunch there today, m neighbor was pleased with the chicken quesadilla, I was disappointed with the Buffalo Shrimp Wrap. Waaay too much Buffalo sauce. I would have thought they would toss the shrimp in the Buffalo sauce, and then assemble the wrap. Nope this tortilla was filled with buffalo sauce. I'm not sure what was in there other than shrimp and sauce, maybe lettuce?, Had to ask for a refill on my tea, twice before it got refilled. But the dessert selection was pretty amazing, I recommend the Strawberry cheesecake! read more

Had a great experience at Bedoe's. Food was great and the service was even better! Our server, Hannah, was so kind and so accommodating. It was our first time there. Pretty sure we're bound to go back. The burger I had was awesome. My wife had the chicken wrap. We both enjoyed them very much. I will say--the acoustics aren't real great in there. If you're looking for a quiet experience, best to eat outside or during off-peak hours. Maybe we were just unlucky, but a baseball team with pretty obnoxious type-A parents made it difficult to converse. I'm going say that was an exception rather than the rule. Ordered to go from here and was hoping for a good burger after reading reviews. Was just across the street working so I was in and out. Ordered the All American burger medium well/well to go. I'm expecting a baby soon so I can't have underdone meat really. Unfortunately when I got back to work and opened the box, the burger was cooked barely medium and I couldn't eat it. Love the "Pub" feel here . The food is reminiscent of the Bar/ Resteraunts in New York I grew up with. The Bar area is adjacent to the Resteraunt area - it could be a little loud if the people at the bar get riled up. Service was decent, as was the food on our first visit. A few months later, ordered the meatloaf again and prior to even getting our drink orders, the female server came up and introduced herself. She said she'd be right back to get our drink orders and I then saw her walk up to a male server in a section that was clearly not part of hers and whisper something with a motioning toward our table. The guy came up a few minutes later and said he'd be taking care of us, all the while, the girl continued serving the booth on either side of us. All that aside, the meatloaf was only cooked on the outer ring and the entire center (80-90% of the serving was practically uncooked. I still can't comprehend how something could come out THAT uncooked. I didn't have time to order something different so I ate the sides and was full after that and the appetizer. Eventually, after seeing the guy was clearly the GM or owner walking around but not really coming near us or the neighboring booths, came at my prompting and I told him about the meatloaf and he said he'd check into it and apologized. Came back later with the check and comped the meatloaf. Not really a great incentive to return and really wish I would've proved to find out why our original server passed us off. read more

Came in for dinner, staying down the road for a local wedding. Wouldn't return. Food was pretty bland overall. Ordered chicken wings which were good. Was asked if we wanted carrots and celery with them, said sure and was charged extra. Didn't realize there was an upcharge and it wasn't mentioned. Our friends wrap wasn't served as ordered and they did remake and take off the bill, which was unexpected but appreciated. My husband was charged .50 cents for ice to accompany his bourbon. Our friends complained and they removed the charge from their bill, but not ours. The kicker... I ordered 2 full glasses of just ice (to add to my tea) and there was no charge! Server was nice. So this review is for the food alone. The servers were very good and the only reason I would give any positivity. The food is subpar at best. Everything tastes as if it were made in the microwave and out of a can or bottle. They also charge extra for using a card instead of cash which baffles me to be so cheap as a business and still charge the average price every other restaurant does. This is my kind of restaurant! Lots of menu options of various cuisines including Mexican, Italian, British, and American. Their chimichanga is as good as the best I have had in a Mexican restaurant and better than most. Their chicken parmigiano is good. They have old school American fare like country fried steak, country fried chicken steak, baby back ribs, meatloaf, and even, perhaps a British influenced, shepherd's pie. They have several good desserts that as I recall come from the Alpine Bakery and Trattoria in Crabapple. With such a large menu everyone in your party should be able to find something to like. If you're having a hard time choosing, I'd recommend the chicken chimichanga. read more

If you're in the mood for some awesome wings or a great burger you have got to go here. I went twice in one week after finding this hidden jewel. The wings are cooked perfect and they have a nice list of choices for your sauce. I had the mild with a side of the hot wing sauce, the mild definitely got my attention, hot enough without going to the side of hot. I had a side of the tater tots and the meal couldn't have been better The burger was also very good on my first visit and I ordered the fresh cooked chips as a side, both choices were fantastic Service was excellent both visits, each seating booth has a tv to pass the time between ordering and arrival of your meal. I didn't order dessert this visit but I will for sure next time, if they are half as good as my meals were they will be out of this world read more

This is everything I like in a Bar. Family owned, and run! If you have a problem with that go back to your chains, respectfully. The people that work there are AMAZING!! It is not pretentious but instead it has the feel of your best pair of jeans. Great drinks, not just strong but well mixed!! Fast service. Some locals hang out here too, I'm one of them!! Everyone is really nice here. The restrooms are shared! That alone says so much for this hidden gem of a restaurant. Bar seats 10-15 but High tops in bar area for groups. Booths in a separate area for dinner. Family friendly with games on some nights. I like trivia night with my daughters best. Good prices and surprisingly great food for a small place!! If you are hungry go with a full order of nachos. They are huge! The overall vibe of this place is sports bar meets family restaurant. I was pleased with our service and how clean it was. Our waitress was one of the highlights. All of our food was ok. No problems with any of it although it was a little bland. The hottest wing sauce was not that spicy, and had more of a vinegar taste to me. The menu has a lot to offer and something tells me that some items are probably 4 star worthy. The one star is on the service. We normally sit at the bar and service is awesome. Tonight we were seated in the dining room. After 20 minutes of no server I went to tell the hostesses. They blew me off until I said can't you go find someone to serve us. When the hostess went to the servers they all put their heads down and ignored her. At 25 minutes we stood up and as we were walking out a male server said someone is coming in a minute.... really 25 minutes after you walk in. As I stated earlier we have had awesome food and service at the bar. We won't be back on a Friday in the dining room. read more

First came in when we moved to Georgia, 5yrs ago, because it was the only place open late. Have never stopped coming in. Anytime we've had family or friends visit - we bring them to Bedoe's. Who doesn't love a bar/grill atmosphere? It also helps that the food is always amazing, super tasty and come in great portions for the price. We especially love the Burgers and Wings. Yum. Tater tots are a fav with the little ones and the Chili is spectacular. Also - they have never failed to supply us with a visual of Alpine Bakery cakes upon entering.
