No one in town charges more for a beer than this place. For example, I enjoy local IPAs and Creature Comforts (Athens) is everywhere. I can go to several other stops in town and pay less for a 16 oz can or pour of this beer. Compared to another decent stop down the street, three roses is almost 30% more. My wife says one of the wines she likes is a little less than other stops, so that's good. But other drink prices tend to be on the high side as well, but most in town have higher liquor prices. That adds up if you like to frequent a place. Hence, we stopped frequenting. Overall, I like the decor and as noted, the food is decent. The upstairs is better than the downstairs but I'm glad they have the downstairs for some occasion when they could get busy. As for the Tavern / entertainment element, I've never seen any live music but they have several TVs. Not sure this would be my top choice to watch a game but it would work in a pinch if the other places were too busy or noisy.

I can normally tune it out, but the uncharacteristic F*bombs coming from the speakers were a mood killer. And while waiting for my meal I heard the following exchange from the kitchen: "Your late!" "Are you going to fire me? Please send me home!" The hostile attitudes in the kitchen was unfortunately reflected in the meal. I ordered the fish and chips, and the fries were nicely cooked. The crust on the fish also looked good. But the fish inside was watery and unpleasant. It was also topped with a mass of cilantro sprigs, which did not pair with the flavors. I managed to scrape them all off. The fish was served with vinegar, ketchup, and (missing) tartar sauce. The friendly and attentive waitress was quick to correct the missing sauce, although it did take awhile. My meal also came with a side of slaw that would have been outstanding if the kitchen hadn't made a misstep of loading it with too much salt. The other seasonings in the slaw were excellent and unique and the addition of red onions was great, but sadly ruined by the saltiness. At the end of my meal I visited their modern and stylish restrooms. I'd arrived just after 5PM and on this weekday there were only a few patrons. So the stylish furnishing of the restroom were marred by the mess I encountered in there. Based on the number of employees compared to patrons, there wasn't an excuse for not cleaning that bathroom. I've seen truckstop restrooms that weren't that nasty.

Because we were going to dinner in about an hour, we did not order any food. For the ladies... the bathroom was spotless, and each stall is its own room. this bar is an indoor outdoor bar with ample amount of seating, very high ceilings, very spacious... And you can bring your dog! They even have doggy treats on the bar! we really enjoyed our visit to this Canton, Georgia establishment, and we absolutely plan to go again. The surrounding area is a small shopping square with a lot of fun shops to peruse before or after your meal. Have a very safe journey and make a lot of memories!

We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. Service is consistently great, drinks are solid, and we usually leave happy. Hoping this was just an off evening, because we genuinely like coming here. Adding an additional * for the great service and because we haven't had a bad experience otherwise.

The Chicken Tenders were exactly what I wanted, but I'm pretty sure I've had the exact same ones from other sports bars. I think the Tyson chicken breast strips are good (and I'd continue to get them), but they aren't really something special. I'd prefer wings and things. The sauce I got them tossed in was really really good. I got the Buffalo-aki wing sauce flavor and additionally requested the Lemon-Pepper seasoning... yum! The sweet potato fries were great. I really liked the way they were cut, and they weren't too greasy at all (like some fries). They were, however, not really seasoned... but it didn't matter when I paired it with the sauce. Which, by the way, the Honey Mustard sauce was especially good. I don't usually see Fried Green Beans on a menu, so I was expecting something really good and to add a lighter veggie to my meal, but they weren't great. While they were really tender, the breading was very thick and greasy. They tasted good in the first few bites, but it was hard to get through after a while. Would not recommend. The service at this location is particularly excellent. I had multiple people check in on me to see if I had been helped already. I was wearing a shirt with a small emblem on it, and multiple people pointed it out and thanked me for my military service. And they were all very personable and kept up a fun smile. Sidelines would be a great place to choose for wing night, and they've got lots of fun side options. It's pretty average bar food at a pretty average price.

We came to Greenline to quench our curiosity of what house beers were being offered. They have a…read morelager called Allenbrook and a refreshingly delicious light and hazy IPA called Shirtless. After relaxing and admiring the venue our host provided us with colored markers to add our names to the wall, which we did. I spoke to one of the founders of the bar who was an avid climber and his brother a surfer, who said the name of brewery Greenline derived from the previous business which was a deli. They restored the space which has some interesting words written on the historic brick walls - the profanity had to be hidden. The bar also had other beer offerings, which we did not try. My talk with Chris St Vrain, revealed how the brothers designed the jackets of their beers: Allenbrook with its rope designs on it and named after a secluded Roswell climbing wall; and Shirtless after his brothers' love of the salt life. We hung out for a short while and felt very refreshed. Nicole and I really enjoyed our time at this bar and hope to be back soon.

This Yelp event was a lot of fun. I went with my son, friend and her daughters. There was plenty of parking close to the event and there was a petting zoo, bouncy houses, pony rides, and face paintings/tattoos for the kids. They also had a lot of vendors selling items from crochet animals and headbands to hot sauce vendors and many others. It was a free event but the bounce houses were $10 for unlimited jumps and the pony rides were also $10. All of the vendors were friendly and welcoming. This was my first time going to this event and I'm glad I went.
