This restaurant used to be known as Kayson's, but with a sly name change and a banner that might of actually turned away local customers ("Same food, service, management. New Name") with the memory and poor taste of Kayson's still lingering in their mouths. You would think that they would advertise as being a clean slate, but I guess they were getting out of a franchise or what not. I'm not trying to be talking a lot of smack, but when 3 people you know have gotten sick after eating there 3 separate times then somethings up. The food is bland and very expensive for what it is. The cheapest thing on the menu is a 6 dollar basic cheese quesadilla (I mean BASIC). Expect to pay 7-9 bucks for a very basic burger with mediocre toppings. I haven't ventured into any other food offerings due to lack of funds. A big negative for me is no descent drink specials either. The service, has been pretty well most times I've been, partly because I've gotten the same waitress repeatedly. Although a few times I've been waited on by an individual whom literally forgot about our table for 30 minutes. My advice is don't eat there. I consider a patty melt to be a fairly easy item to make. Apparently the kids in the kitchen don't. I ordered take out. My sandwich looked like someone had thrown it together, dropped it on the floor, and then stomped on it before shoving it back in the take out box. I got about 1/4 of it down before realizing that it was as tough as shoe leather, and I wouldn't be able to actually swallow it. First of all, they have a 70 health inspection score and try to hide it behind a toy crane machine or something. The only reason I saw it is because we happened to have been sat a booth next to it where my line of vision was able to see it behind the machine. It's one thing to have a score that low, but it's another to try to hide it. I used to go here sometimes a few years ago but stopped because it went downhill and because I saw how the owner responded to people in reviews. I thought I would retry this past Saturday, but after the weird treatment from the hostess and then seeing the hidden score, I just walked out. The hostess looked at us with a bizarre look, like it's weird that customers came in and just gave us a stare with a dejected "hi", certainly not very friendly. Edit to respond to owner's response: Laughed out loud at your response dude. No competitor asked me to post, my thoughts are my own. There's no way that's the "ONLY" place you could put it, and I'm sure the new inspector would love that it's behind stuff out of view. I'm curious why you wouldn't make a bigger effort for them to come back out if they never showed back up? If it was behind the dessert rack instead of the crane game, that's my mistake. Either way, it was still hidden and the only reason it was visible is because of the fluke of where I was sat. By the way, if you would have bothered to actually read my post, I have indeed had your food. I mentioned I used to come in somewhat often for dinner, but it went downhill in both food and service, but it had been a while and I wanted to revisit. My parents love Bedoe's when they come to town and stay with us. They get Bedoe's for takeout at least two or three times a week when they are here. I've tried many items from their menu. The wings are GREAT. Not too much sauce. Too many drumsticks for me. Next time I'll ask for the flat pieces only but that's my fault, not theirs. My parents enjoyed their steaks (even to go, but they have eaten there quite a few times.) and my To Go burger was great. I've been there twice. I recommend the Tiramisu cake. I don't care for Tiramisu but the cake is unbelievably good. Overall, I am happy we have a neighborhood joint so close with decent food. My parents said the staff was friendly so that's why they returned so many times. Feeling welcome at a business is important to their success. read more

Yes, I have been here a few times and all I can say is its a quick and dirty meal. They offer typical american foods like a cheeseburger or chicken smothered in cheese. They have salads and soups that are just Ok. I do appreciate the ability to get steamed broccoli with my tequila lime chicken and not have mashed potatoes pushed at me. The one thing they have that you cannot find just anywhere are some great slices of cakes. A four layer red velvet or carrot cake with taste like home frosting. If I could go to a restaurant and eat just the dessert I would do it here. I am sure I will be back here and will find something on the menu to enjoy. Fantastic time. I was visiting family from out of town. I needed to get away. The bar was packed. I found a seat and my bartender Natalie was very engaging with everyone and still had time for me! My wife and I, from Kennesaw, went out with friends that live in the area and were very familiar with this spot Saturday Evening. We arrived around 7-7:30pm and were immediately seated. When the waitress came around to take our drink order, I asked if they had Arnold Palmers and she replied "Yes we do". We later placed our orders for dinner and by that time, my Arnold Palmer was gone. The waitress eventually comes over and tells me that "We are out of tea. What else would you like to drink?" This struck me as odd because the place did not close until 12pm and there were still 4-5 hours left for business...so why in the heck were you out of tea?? The waitress claimed that someone had cleaned out the container used to hold the tea. But how long does it take to make a new pot of tea?? Especially when you have a customer that ordered and paid for it! While being a interracial couple in this area of Woodstock may not be the norm, the display of 'subtle' racism is alive and well. Needless to say, I will never visit this franchise again. I hope the tea bags that you saved were worth the customers you just lost! read more

My wife and I went here on Saturday (Sept 8) in the afternoon. We sat at the bar and it was busy. It took 20-25 minutes before the bartender took our drink order. She was very busy as she was handling the tables plus the bar. She was very apologetic about the wait. We ordered the wings and they were good. Great place to take the family. My family of 8 dines here at least twice a week and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. The food quality is great and the price is very manageable. We visited Bedoe's tonight for the first time in a year and a half. The first time was great, the second was okay but the third was bad. First, let me say that the customer service hasn't been bad. Tonight, our waitress was the bartender and she was very nice. The food came out quickly. We both ordered cheesesteaks - one with mushrooms and one without. I have orders take out from here probably 100 times. Kind of the go-to when we don't feel like going out, cooking, or fast food since it is so close to me. Food is always good, hot, and right. Above average wings, and mostly good, typical bar food. The ladies at the bar are always nice since that is where you pick up take-out. They also do some trivia nights and things that can be pretty fun as well. Glad to have a reliable spot so close to home. read more

We used to eat here a lot more than we have lately because the best food there is the fried food! But, I tried the grilled chicken buffalo sandwich and it was very good. Not ammused...We literally saw the manager yell at the hostess for about 5 minutes bc she didn't tell the waitress that she had a table. Then our waitress didn't even bring our drinks out. The hostess did. We waited 30 mins for our food to come out and when it did our hostess said she would be back to check on us and didn't come back for another 20 mimutes. We watched her take other people's orders and needs. She completely ignored me when I tried to wave her down. I needed a side of ranch and while waiting on her to come back, my food got cold. This place was a lot better than we thought it would be, but the wait was unusually long. My wife thought three stars might be more accurate, but I felt the service, apart from being slow on a holiday, was friendly enough to warrant four stars. It's pretty close to where we live, the prices are accurate for the quality of food that came out, the portions were generous, and they served up a pretty bangerang chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. My wife had the Cobb salad, which she did not enjoy nearly as much, but salad up against fried meat with gravy is a pretty hard contest anywhere. The chicken fried chicken and gravy were good, though, which is actually unusual from our experiences at other places. It normally tends to be paste-like gravy (pepper not added in the right quantity or the right stage) or soggy breading or overcooked meat, but what I had there last night was spot on! The green beans that came with it were awesome, too, but I do believe any time nuts are used in a side dish that should be on the menu description for those who have nut allergies. We also had the sampler platter, all of which was decent bar food grub. The potato skins and the Bedoe's sauce on the wings were far better than the mozarella sticks, and the chicken tenders were pretty average. The million dollar cake from Alpine was a great way to end the meal, and the other cakes looked pretty great too. I've reviewed Alpine's Italian food (not positively, I'm afraid) but their dessert really are good! We came here with our four month old, were greeted promptly, had our drinks kept full, had regular check-ins with the waitress to make sure we were enjoying our food, and were overall impressed with what we were afraid might have been just mediocre bar food. I'm looking forward to trying some of their burgers in the future, but if the wait is always as long as last night I think we might just order it to go in the future. read more

Bug in my sandwich. We use to come to Bedeos a lot but haven't had a chance to stop by lately. We came in tonight. A few bites into my buffalo chicken sandwich I found an insect in my sandwich. I immediately felt sick and could not eat anymore. My husband, likewise, lost his appetite when we discovered this but he was a little farther into his meal. When we informed the server, the manager stopped by the table for about 5 seconds to say "sorry I'll comp your meal" to me. We payed full price for his meal that he ate about half of but they did comp mine. I would have expected more sincere apology and more time spent trying to make us feel better about the situation. read more

I probably eat at Bedoe's once a week. I usually eat in the bar because I get there around 10:00pm. The bartenders and servers are great; love Rebecca and Natalie. I almost always get the sirloin steak which is excellent, occasionally I order other items on the menu and everything I have tried is great. I also agree with one of the other reviewer's comment that the Chili is the best I've ever had. I have taken my son and his friends there for dinner, and heaven knows teenagers can be picky but they loved the food they ordered and ate everything on their plates. It is a great place for families or just to hang out in the bar, watch TV and get to know some of your neighbors. read more

I have never had a bad meal at this excellent place! The staff are so friendly and Adro (bartender) is so sweet and personable! Every single thing on the menu is so good! You will never be disappointed! The have excellent drink specials and their food is cooked to perfection.
