This was pretty good. My students were going on a trip to Niagara Falls and we were super loud because they liked the scenery, and someone in the back was obsessed with billboards. Took this tour 2 days ago. Booked it at their office somewhere between Buffalo Airport and Niagara falls when we got lost driving (I just KNEW my GPS had Canada loaded, but it did not.......) Anyway, Jim, the tour salesguy assured us that the tours would cost more when we got to our hotel. As we were staying at the Marriott Fallsview (which is is not cheap) we had already said we would try and cut down on other "luxuries". Jim was right, the hotel tours were more expensive. We paid $84.97 total pp for a 4 hour tour which included Maid of the Mist, Journey Behind the Falls, and a few other stops. Nick, our tour guide picked us up on time and he was wonderful. Lots of jokes-- some were funny, the ones that weren't were still funny b/c they were cheesy. Overall, a great and informative guy--even told us where to get good, cheap food. Now, why is it cheaper than the other tours? While everyone else is riding around in the comfort of a climate controlled bus or one of those modern mini-bus/vans, we were shoveled into a white (off white due to age) 14 passenger dodge van. Yes, the regular old style dodge van. No climate control -- it was either too hot or when we opened the window to get air, the draft was killing me. I didn't say anything about the draft b/c I had already asked for the window to be opened. Stepping in and out of the van you could see massive rust. Seats were not comfortable b/c remember, you're in an old van. The saving grace of this tour was the great and informative tour guide, who also doubles as the driver, Nick, and the cost. read more

My daughter's school used this bus company for a class retreat. Their driver got lost on the way to the destination, making them an hour late arriving and over an hour late returning at the end of the day. Protocol was not followed to sweep the bus and make sure all belongings were unloaded. Of course, driving children, belongings were left behind. When I called to try to retrieve them, the manager Corey was extremely rude to me and insisted that the belongings were not where I said they were. I'm certain they threw them out. We never were able to recover our lost belongings, and I cannot say enough about what a terrible experience it was dealing with these extremely rude people. I would not recommend using this company. read more

We skipped lines, got great parking, got to places at the perfect time, and to top it off, she was hilarious. She knows the town inside and out. We did everything in an order that made sense. We did not get soaked until the end which was perfect. Could not imagine going on a tour with anyone else! Bedore is the way to go! We booked the Niagara Falls bus and boat tour through the KOA that we were camped in. My husband is disabled from a stroke and uses a mobility scooter. There was no information regarding accessibility in the brochure. I called the tour company and was only able to leave a message which did not help me as we were going out before they could call me back. The tour company called the next morning to notify us that our tour was running late. I asked if we could bring his scooter as he was not able to walk more than a short distance. She said no. We got on the bus and it was abundantly obvious that he was substantially disabled. Once we stopped at our first destination (Maid of the Mist) the tour guide realized just how bad he was and knew he couldn't make the 1/4 mile walk to the boat. My husband sat on a park bench until the ride was over and we returned. I was stressed out leaving him by himself. The bus driver and the tour guide were very good. But I believe it should have been mentioned as we boarded that the walk would be a challenge. We could have requested a refund and he would have been much better off at the motorhome. Anyway, they managed to obtain a wheelchair. It was a nice gesture But was not much help as he couldn't do much of the rest of the attractions. And I was stuck pushing him up and down hills and walkways. When I requested a refund for his ticket, they would only agree to refund $20 of the $125 ticket. Which at the time of writing this, I have not yet received the credit. All in all, if you require a motorized scooter or wheelchair because you can't walk more than a short distance, do not use this company. They just want your money. read more

My husband and I took this tour last week and were pleased with the experience. Neither of us really knew our way around so it was great that we could both just sit and enjoy the sights. We took the American side tour in the morning and the Canadian side in the afternoon on a beautiful sunny day. Both guides were cheerful, pleasant and informative. Both our tours left on time and were flexible about where we preferred to be dropped off. Both guides were able to recommend restaurants and other attractions to explore on our own after the tours. Both busses were clean and comfortable. By the end of our day, we had seen the highlights on both sides, knew our way around, and had our plans all set for touring on our own the next day. This is a total rip off. We just blindly purchased the tickets without doing any background research. $99 for an adult is outrageous !! Maid of the mist costs $17 and Cave of the winds costs $12. The total road distance covered is not more than 4-5 miles and the guide's value is only in describing the gorges which is around 10 mts. So paying such a premium is daylight robbery. Everything is in walking distance. If you don't have kids or a wheelchair, you do NOT need any of these tours. read more

If you go online, there's 10% off. It cost me $94.00 for 3 to 4 hours (including $10 booking fee over the phone, which was not worth it). I took the 5:00 p.m. Niagara Falls on Canadian side. They have another tour for US side and a combine tour also. I was on the US side. You must have passport on this tour. The tour guide was late in picking up at the motel. I waited at 5:05 and it didn't show up until 5:30 p.m. I got to see all the hotels! That was a tour in itself, because I was the first pick up, there were at least three other pick-ups. The tour guide was nice enough. He was a bit late on and off, here and there. The tour was wonderful or maybe Niagara Falls can do no wrong for any tour operation. Went to Maid of the mist first. We were dropped off at the tour bus spot and told to come back and meet at another spot. He took us as far as the ticket booth. We rode the 14 passenger van to this outlook, whirlpool area. He talked alot, about history. I was a bit tired and was half listening. We had a 8:30 p.m. appt to go to Behind the Falls. It's too dark to see anything, so that was a bust. The falls didn't light up too good that night. It was not as spectacular as in the guidebooks. He brought us to this touristy shopping stop. We stayed there for 1/2 hour, a bit of waste of time, but people had to buy something to eat or else when they go back to the hotel there's nothing else left to eat. I got back to the motel around 10:30 p.m. The owner to the motel was right. I didn't have to drive to all these spots. Finding parking would be a hassle in the Canadian side and I saved money on parking fees. Group tours always have the speedy lines, so that was a plus. Going through customs was a snap. Everybody else had a US passport. People were friendly on the tour. read more

Jim O was our tour guide and he was great. Our RV park owner gave us info and set it up. The bus picked us up at our park and we did the whole Niagara Falls tour. Jim O was knowledgeable and knew how 5o get us in and out of lines fast. He explained and informed us what was ahead and what to expect. We were gone 6 hours and enjoyed the group and our guide Jim O very much. If you get to pick your guide, he's the guy to ask for. read more

I would like for someone to contact me regarding the driver of bus #68. Due to his impatient attitude and lack of consideration for anyone else, my family was almost killed by oncoming traffic. He was attempting to pull into a gas station parking lot that we were attempting to make a left out of onto Niagara Falls Blvd. We could not see around him. He impatiently waved us on. We then assumed he properly checked his mirrors and was telling us it was safe to pull out. We pulled out and were almost T-boned by another vehicle doing 50+ mph. Your drivers ignorance and impatience could have cost my family our lives. Unacceptable! read more

Last week I traveled with Green Mountain tours, a group of 47 of us in a bus, to Niagara. Martha, our tour guide, was waiting when we arrived. She boarded the bus with a huge smile and welcomed us to her hometown. Throughout the three days she was with us, there was never a dull moment. She is so knowledgeable and so pleasant to be with -- and she just loves this beautiful corner of the world and showing people around. (I wanted to bring her home with me to NJ!) She skillfully directed our bus driver to get us everywhere we needed to be, and she knew just where we would get to see the beauty of the falls in the daytime as well as night from the American side as well as the Canadian side. She took us to Niagara on the Lake, where we stayed in the elegant Prince of Wales Hotel, and showed us around this lovely town. Additionally we traveled to St. Catharines for a fascinating visit to the Welland Canal and a winery tour that afternoon. My husband and I did the combo tour wit Bedore tour from our campground.....the cost was almost $400 and we paid cash.....we did the American side of the falls on Aug 25th, our driver was Chris and he did an awesome job, so I give that a 5 star rating.....Sept 5th we went on the Canadian tour on the other hand is a 1 star.....our driver Ronaldo......1st he pick us up a half hour late....he drove for miles for us to see a building and had 5 minutes there,we did see a nice horticulture college made clock which was nice.....we were at the falls for at least two hours....include in our price was a trip in the "journey of the falls"....well, as the tour guide finally got there they were closed so no journey, that was one of there big attractions, we did go up the tower but the scenery was same above as on the ground....called Bedore to let them know...spoke to Kori, who in turn took my number and would see what she could do for us....never heard from her, called again Sept 19th because we haven't heard from her....she was on a call and had another call waiting but she never got back to me.....so it brings me to the one star we did get a taxi ride....and we paid cash so we couldn't dispute a credit card and another couple who went on the same trip at the same time also complained and received $100 credit....wth....if anything use a credit card so you can fight it if there is an issue.... My fiance and I traveled to attend a wedding in NY and decided to make a vacation out of it so we drove our rental to Niagara Falls. Before leaving IL, I checked out some tour agencies for the falls and ended up calling Bedore for more information. The lady who answered the phone (I wish I could remember her name) was very personable and helped me decide which tour or package to book and suggested I book online to save the 10%. I booked the Deluxe Tour for Chris and I. We chose to split the tour and do the American side one day then the Canadian side the next day which I am glad we did only because each was about 4 hours which can get tiring. I called the next day because I was unsure about the times and the lady who answered the phone that time was, again, very personable. I asked her to recommend things for Chris and I to do aside from the tours and she gave me quite a few suggestions which I appreciated. She sent me an email with our itinerary shortly after I called. I'm 27 and Chris is 31 so I was a little concerned that maybe doing a tour would be too boring for us. I was seriously mistaken! We had Rita for the American side and she was a riot. She had jokes upon jokes, enough sass to fill up the whirlpool, and so much information about the history of the falls and everything else about it. Martha was our guide for the Canadian side and boy, all 4 feet 3 inches of her was bursting with information. Both guides showed up on time, introduced us to the other people we were with, drove us around, let us get out to take pictures of certain things if we wanted, walked us through the ticket areas, made going through the Canadian border a breeze, and just gave us an all around great experience. Chris and I could have definitely walked around ourselves in lieu of doing the tours, but there is no way we would have learned everything we did. The only downside was that the large van wasn't particularly comfortable. Since Chris and I were the youngest, we offered to sit in the way back which involved some climbing in and out each time. We only had 6 people total, and I have no idea how they would fit 10-12 in that van. We ran into an issue with the new parking system that Niagara Falls, NY park district recently put in and decided to start using. It would read the van's permit, but the arm wouldn't go up allowing us to enter. This was an issue every time. Of course this isn't Bedore's fault, but I must commend the guides on making it funny rather than frustrating which it could have turned in to. read more
