They have a very nice showroom and we found tile that we're happy with. We bought more tile than we expected to need, per their recommendation. Our contractor took longer than expected so when I inquired about returning the extra boxes, I was denied because it was five weeks from date of purchase and their policy is a 30 day return window (with a 25% restocking fee). They wouldn't budge. I also contacted their headquarters who told me they don't make exceptions. So we're sitting on a few hundred dollars of tile we no longer need. All things being equal, it is way better to buy from a big box store (i.e. Home Depot) where they have a 90 day return policy and even beyond that for store credit. Buyer beware. read more

Our contractor recommended Bedrosians for tile for our recent bathroom remodel. We have never done a remodel before, so we definitely came in with many questions and little insight into where to begin. We walked through the gallery and were able to identify many favorites. They have a beautiful selection of tile and they allow you to take home samples so that you can see them in your own home. Justin has been incredibly helpful to us throughout this entire process. He helped answer many of our questions and find just the right tile to create a cohesive look between our shower wall, shower pan and bathroom floor. Throughout the process, our tile installers needed a few different additional pieces and Justin helped us to quickly get what we needed. I went in to get a bathroom tile since the day before I went to the Miramar location to get shower wall tile. This location is closer to my house. I love both locations. The rep I had at Miramar was very nice and helpful. Thank you Cale. The ladies at the Vista location were very nice and helpful as well. I even brought all the reviews and we had a nice conversation about it. I forgot to get the females name that helped me but she worked at the front desk and greeted me when I arrived. She got me some samples and matched it with the shower tile I bought and liked it. So Thank you very much. I now have a go to tile place when I need one. I don't understand the bad reviews. There's a museum-like quality to this store, which specializes in tile and stone walls and flooring. Several examples of beautiful bathrooms and kitchens for inspiration. There was even an homage to the late Tony Gwynn as a display example in the showroom, with an framed #19 Padres jersey. Wish I took a picture but I was so focused on the task at hand. The staff are helpful. And their computer inventory systems are modern and accurate, which is very helpful. The wall of discontinued tile could use some help. There are no product names to reference when you walk up to the order counter to make inquires so the staff have to pull down the sample off the wall to check the item number to check against inventory. read more

The tile selection is fine, but I am writing about the ridiculous Covid Surcharge they tried to pass on to us. We priced all of our tiles online but decided to call and order so we could pick them up from their store (the tile was in stock). We noticed the price they gave us on the phone was higher than what it would have been online. After digging, we found that they were charging us a $382 Covid Surcharge (this is Dec of 2022) listed as MISC Charges on the invoice. We explained that it would be $250 less expensive for us to have the order shipped to our house vs. picking it up in the store, but they refused to remove their surcharge. We ended up making the order online and saved $250. In the end, they now have to send a delivery driver to our house vs. us driving down to the store and picking up the tile ourselves. Ridiculous policy! Quit with the price gouging and stupid fees read more

I agree with a Mark F's comment about the "museum-like quality" of this store. The airy showroom has 50 foot ceilings and some wonderful installations, and it's fairly quiet. A good place for inspiration that's very well organized. We like that the service here isn't pushy or in-your-face. Ask for help when you're ready and they'll take care of you. Our experience over 5+ visits (and multiple phone calls) has been quite good, and that includes interactions with the receptionists, clerks, warehouse staff and supervisors. We are currently remodeling two bathrooms and found everything we needed here. I think only one of the 6 styles we wanted was out of stock. We got good design advice from Kevin and patient support from Justin, who put together our order(s) and made sure we got all the eligible discounts. Both of these guys deserve a shout out as they were very helpful. Ditto for Rafael in the warehouse. We did have a shipping delay on one of our items but these things happen. We also returned two 50 lb bags of mortar without any issues. We'll definitely come back when it's time to do the kitchen. read more

After stopping in dozens of tile shops I stubbled upon this gem. What a beautiful showroom with quite an extensive selection of unique products. As soon as I entered with all my paint swatches and various pictures of bathroom designs I liked, Justin greeted me asking if he can assist me with anything. He knew exactly what I was looking for and showed me this display that was absolutely perfect. He had samples whipped up within minutes. He made great suggestions on the flooring and although I was skeptical on this new vinyl wood style floor, this stuff is amazing! It is currently in my preschool taking a beating each day and has not shown any sign of wear and tear. Price points were right in line with other retailers but there selection really set them apart. What really made this experience exceptional was Justin. I walked into so many places stumbling around with no customer service. I am pretty sure I was in/out with my tile samples in less than an hour. After seeing the samples in the new space, they were exactly what I wanted! I placed the order and everything was ready and loaded in my contractors truck the next morning. Justin has clearly been in this industry for quite some time and made great design suggestions that were right in line with what I was envisioning. He was very knowledgeable about the various options available, especially for high traffic areas. Will definitely be back for our next project! read more

The customer service here is trash as well as inventory management. Don't come here if you are looking for a reliable business or need any products in a timely matter. Was told tile would be ready in 3/4 days. I had to call 5 days later for an update. The worker told me they didn't know the status and would ca back. 4 hours later she said it was on a truck in Anaheim and would try to get it down to SD in a day. I called back two days later to a whole new story. Now there was no delivery date on the order and they would email me later. No sense of urgency. Then later that afternoon they called me back to say that there was an "inventory error" and now the tile was back ordered for two months from now. So i was lied to read more

Where do I start? Sometime in 2019, I was on the hunt for some tile. A friend and I spent the entire day in Miramar going from store to store, looking at tile...by the time we got to Bedrosians? My eyes had just about glazed over. Some background, my friend is one of those super hyper humans that is easily excitable. Me? The opposite. We walked in and approached by Justin Baker. Despite it being the end of his day, Justin got sooo excited about the new bathroom that he would never see. Somehow, his excitement gave me the strength to look for the tile and we found it!!!! I asked for a sample, preferably the full tile, he made it happen. Took it home, laid it down and fell in as much love as one can fall into with tile. I called Justin back and ordered the tile I needed and Justin told me it was discontinued so super discounted and this girl loves a good bargain so it was an easy decision. Life happened and 2020 snuck up on us. Today, the contractor tells us he needs three more boxes, by tomorrow. Mind you, it's 3PM on a Wednesday, and keep in mind that the tile was discontinued...well, some angel managed to make it work so the tile would arrive in time for the contractor. Firstly great showroom with good selection. The service, however, was very poor. We visited the store this week. One of the employees was sitting at a counter coughing away, without a mask or covering her mouth and no due care or attention towards anyone around her. She then proceeded to get up and walk past me and my two 7 & 9 year old children, coughing the entire time, only to come back out, still coughing into the open air without wearing a mask, and sit back down at the counter. Now everyone else in the show room, including the sales person that served us, had a mask on. This lady still did not put her mask on. This has been playing on my mind most of the week hence the delayed response. There is no point having a great up-to-date showroom if you have inconsiderate representatives with an old mind set, especially during a pandemic! read more

Don't waste your time or money here. Bedrosian's has a lovely boutique showroom with tons of tile ideas. However, their staff is lazy and rude. I came in specifically for 3 slabs of quartzite and found a few I liked in the slab hall in the back. Walked into the back slab hall alone and nobody approached me to ask if I had questions. When I walked back into the showroom area and asked the young lady in the front part of the store for help, she told me to bring her the name and she'd 'look it up on the computer.' (She was busy playing on her I-phone). Since there was no label on the slab, I told her I couldn't, and she shrugged and said that 'everything is on the computer so she couldn't help me.' Pretty shocking response to a potential customer who's willing to plunk down up to $10k. I really liked one selection so had to hunt down another staffer, and Vanessa and Rafael stepped up. I was still annoyed and decided to keep looking - glad I did. Try Amazon Stones on Miramar instead - excellent customer service and a better selection. Prices are much better as well. You'll get better customer service at CVS or Ralphs, where you spend a fraction of what you'd be paying at Bedrosian. And their selection and service is mediocre. read more

Last week my husband went to Bedrosians to get some slate tile for an outdoor counter. We wanted something nicer than the basic cheap stuff at Home Depot but didn't want to spend a fortune on something that would likely be covered by pots and such. My husband ordered some nice gauged slate tile for maybe $3.50/sq ft. BTW inexpensive slate tile is not cut to an uniform thickness (and therefore not gauged) and can be difficult to install properly. Gauging results in a tile that's of a fairly uniform thickness and much easier to install. When we went to pick up the tile, my husband found an associate almost right away who helped him with his order. I was waiting for the ladies' room and two different employees saw me standing there and with a very friendly attitude asked if I needed help. Haven't installed the tile yet so I'm hesitant to give that 5th star right now, but gotta say all went well and I don't expect any problems. read more

I ordered tile from Bedrosians online thinking the 15% off was enticing and the delivery to my house would save me some hassle. They delivered the tile in the middle of the street in between cars and told me they are not responsible for the tile after it leaves the truck. The tile was to heavy to move myself I had to get my contractors to move it. Then worse still I can't return the tile because the policy that I read after the fact has so many reasons why they can't accept returns e.g. if you bought trim can't return no exceptions and then other items you have to pay 25% restocking fee, and for return shipping and the window for returns is too narrow and all these rules make it so hard to return then the store refuses to help you for online orders. So while the people at the store are nice and helpful and really helped me with my tile choices I am not sure why I cannot return my tile to them. I should have gone elsewhere and will next time for tile. Home Depot has way better customer service and I have bought tile there before and it is much more affordable. I am stuck with hundreds of dollars of tile in unopened boxes. This is also a waste of resources because it would be nice if someone else could use the unopened tile that I do not need instead. Finally the online people that I talked to on the phone were not nice or helpful at all. read more

We were initially only going to place an order for our floor tile but ended up ordering all of our tiles from here because the quality and style of the tiles were far superior than any other place we visited. We walked in several times because we were working with click on floors and they get their tile from here. The first few times we walked in, we weren't really greeted or helped, but we looked around at their displays and got some ideas for what they had. If you want to have some assistance, you need to go and find someone yourself. They seem very busy at the front of the store/office space and sometimes they only have 1-2 people there. The last two times that we have gone, the customer service was better, they had more people working. Vanessa was working on the floor and was able to show us some times and give some recommendations. She's very nice and attentive to what we were looking for and gave us some good advice and things to consider. When we came back the next weekend, she remembered us and helped us again when she was finished working with another customer. You can borrow a sample of tile for a small fee and they'll return the amount to you when you bring it back. This helps if you want to bring the sample back to your home to see how it looks or to compare and match with other things like the kitchen cabinets as we did. They have a granite showroom in the warehouse where you can view the slabs. Vanessa was helpful in looking up the dimensions and prices of the granite slabs that we were interested in. Large selection to look at, customer service may be a little hit or miss depending on how many employees are working when you visit, but look for Vanessa- she was friendly and helpful. read more
