Came in for a quick end of the night run. There was no one around to assist. There were cars outside but I didn't see any customers in the store except upon entry. I grabbed what i needed and proceeded to the register. Once getting to the register, there were no workers in sight. I stood there for about 5 minutes and then i heard someone talking on the phone. Lo and behold it was the worker. But you wouldn't have known because she had no identification nor uniform on. She finally asked if i need to be checked out and came over. She proceeded to continue her own personal conversation on her cell phone while checking me out. Sucky customer service. read more

The older red headed pharmacist is probably the most inept person I've ever met. Took her 20 minutes to figure out my GoodRX discount. Popped in to grab some water and was greeted by a nice gentleman at the cash register around 9pm. I was almost to the water when I saw a white and black woman in the photo section. The black woman proceeded to ask me if I had a mask while her mask was UNDER HER CHIN. Talk about hypocrisy. Went to the drive thru Covid -19 test site at 4353 Lake Otis Parkway in Anchorage Alaska. The staff was so professional and I felt all the CDC precautions were being instituted. Ashley was my first contact person and her demeanor put me at ease. The Pharmacist who administered the test was extremely professional and his instruction was very clear. Try to have patience using drive thru but they do nothing to make it move. No signage telling you to use the app to be sure your prescription is ready. The app is great. Use it!!! Dang it... Just trying to get a flu shot here. No fault of the staff, but they informed me that the system does not notify patients if you schedule a flu shot and then Walgreens runs out of them. So I scheduled my shot, went in on time, and no shot for me. The pharmacist was as friendly as she could be about it, but, seriously, Walgreens, step your game up. read more

Thank goodness there is practically a Walgreens on every other block, because this one is so discombobulated. It is cluttered, kind of dirty, in serious need of some TLC and has nil customer service. I was expecting so much more being located in the Brentwood area, but once inside the store it might as well been in a ghetto. Management, you may have a high volume sales store, but do not let the small details get out of control. If this location was the one closest to my home or work, I'd switch over to CVS or drive to the next closest Walgreens. After all, there is practically one every other block. Also, be aware of the self important people backing out of parking spaces and arriving in the parking lot while talking on their cell phones. It makes for some defensive driving and a new addition to my Parking Lot Derby list. read more

I went thru website, filled out ALL the information, and selected a time for a Shingles vaccine the next afternoon. When I arrived I was informed that the Pharmacist? was on break, although the website said that "he" should just be back to work. I was told to come back in half an hour. When I did I found about eight people in front of me; they told me if I would wait an hour they would probably get to me. so I went elsewhere were the service was slow but honestly predictable. This pharmacy drive thru is the SLOWEST pharmacy I have EVER been to. Every time I go I am waiting 20+ minutes in line, even if there is just one car in front of me. I needed a few things, so stopped in here. Couldn't find the sunscreen, so asked a clerk in cosmetics, and she directed me clearly and in a very friendly manner. Everything I got was on sale. Distilled water was $1.29 for one gallon or 2/$2, so I got two. Vitamins were buy 1, get the second at 50% off. Cinnamon was $10.99 for one or 2/$13.99, so I got two. Sunscreen was 30% off. Even the 20-ounce sodas were $1.79 for one or 2/$3. Most of the sales were due to the Balance Rewards program. I earned 5,000 points on this visit, which gives me a $5 savings on the next visit. At checkout, the clerk (the same clerk I talked with in cosmetics) asked me about the Balance Rewards program. I simply put in my number, and she knew who I was and called me by name throughout the rest of the transaction. Kudos to Walgreen's for training their clerks to ask all patrons if they're a member of the Balance Rewards program. If they didn't remind me, I'd forget. She was very friendly and efficient in checkout. Before I could get my credit card out, she had completed the transaction and put all my bagged purchases in the cart, so I could get them to the car. Overall I saved $25.99, a 27% savings. On the spur, I asked the clerk if there was a post office close. She said, "Yes, just across the street." She pointed, I looked, and saw the flag and sign. Are you sick? Need to see a doctor like TODAY? No more waiting to see if they can schedule you in two months from now. This Walgreens has a nurse practitioner on premise to check minor ailments for anyone who's ever been sick and couldn't wait. They take health insurance cards just like the doctor's office. Just pay your copay. The best part: walk-in service. I just went today and didn't have to wait very long at all. True, you should have a consistent doctor that you regularly see so he or she can keep up with your overall long term health. But when you get sick, and they can't fit you in until next year, this is a nice alternative. read more

If you want to go to a place in which their employees must take classes on how to be as rude to your customers as possible then this is the place for you! This location is close to me so have used many times but every time experience something terrible. It has been one thing after another in all departments, a prescription filled wrong, photo order with someone else's photo in it, curbside online orders that were charged twice for and didn't catch until my credit card bill came in and this last time I call to cancel an order because they couldn't fill the entire order and I was going to go to another location and the women leaves the phone line open and rants and complains to her co-worker about me canceling while I can hear it and then just hangs up! It is unbelievable how rude they all are there, I have never experienced any other place like this. read more

I recently went to this particular Walgreens for meds and the clerk in pharmacy was completely rude. It took an hour and a half to get my prescription filled. After an hour of waiting I asked Rude Clerk when it might be ready and she responded with "I don't know.." and walked away. But not to ask the pharmacist. The Take Care Clinic is fine. The Nurse Practioners are great. But any prescriptions will be filled elsewhere. read more

Stopped in here to get my annual TB test at the Take Care Clinic, for my job. I made an appointment on their website, but when I arrived, the nurse said they don't take appointments. Yet, somehow, I had an email confirming an appointment. So after a heated discussion, it was determined that I had an appointment with the pharmacy, which was bull***, because I made it specifically on the Take Care Clinic portion of the Walgreen's website. I told them they really needed to make that more clear on their website. So long story short, it must have been my lucky day, because for the first time in all of my visits to this clinic, there were no people waiting, so I still was able to get right in. However, I still stood there, as the only person waiting for 15 minutes waiting to get a shot in my arm that took all of 30 seconds to get, and pay for. Its far an away the closest location to me, as I live about 4 blocks away, but all in all, the service has been mediocre at best in all of the past visits. read more

Yeesh, sounds like people have really had a bad go here. For what it's worth, my experience was totally fine. I went into the SSM Clinic recently with an appointment I made online that morning, suspecting I had picked up my partner's strep. First of all, they ran EARLY, which was amazing. I was out of there 10 minutes after my schedule appointment time. Both the assistant and NP/PA were kind and helpful, and the pharmacist was friendly and chatted up every person who came through the line (which was consistently about 3-4 people for the 30 minutes I was there, but moved at a decent speed). I can't speak to the rest of the Walgreens experience here, but I would have no problem going to this clinic again. read more

The customer service at this store has markedly deteriorated in the past few months. Since changing from a 24 hour pharmacy, prescriptions have taken much longer to fill (if at all). The past 6 weeks have been especially awful. I have been trying to get a prescription filled since Wednesday, December 26, one that I've ordered, monthly, from that store for over 10 years. After talking to the computer, a human, the computer and my husband going into the store Sunday, we now have to get a partial refill from a different store. Because of the New Year, this lack of ability to fill the prescription will cost me HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS!!! read more

The Pharmacy Staff at this place are horrific. No matter what you try and do to play by the rules, they never have your medication in stock so you have to wait until the following day to pick it up. They will tell you to come the next business day after 4:00 pm to pick it up. When you do, they still don't have it ready and ask you to come back again or wait an hour. They have one member, B***y who has worked there for quite some time. She would be the most rude person on the staff. You don't dare cross her or she will humiliate you in front of the pharmacist, staff, and other customers. This was the last time I will deal with them! Went to the take care clinic yesterday. The nurse practitioner was very unhelpful and refused to give me my physical stating, "we can't do the form you have brought me". Presented a new form that my company said would work for them and the practitioner said she wouldn't do it because she had seen the other form already. They called on several occasions to say the script was ready when it wasn't. Then there were multiple incidents with pill shortages, & scripts filled incorrectly. Walgreens is Walgreens. Now, that they all pretty much look alike and follow the same floor plans there isn't much that makes one all that different than the others. You could get picky about parking at some locations or complain about the service you received, but when it comes down to it, Walgreens is pretty consistent and you know what you're getting into once you enter that stale environment. The prices on items vary from thing that are cheap to some others that are questionably higher than you would snag them for in other places. They have their own private label, Nice, that actually cranks some decent, inexpensive items. read more

Terrible! When an item didn't ring as the sales price listed on the shelf, the two (yes, for some reason two) people checking me out gave me attitude about adjusting the price. When leaving, my hands were completely full and the two ladies working rudely asked me to return my basket, even though there were two of them and neither had hands full with bags! This has been my pharmacy for years but since the hours have been cut back, the service is now terrible. Long waits, scripts not filled and miscommunication (being told that the same script was not due for a refill, that it was not available from the manufacturer and that there was an insurance problem - all on the same pick up). The kicker was being told that I had picked up a 28 day supply on 1/7 and it was not due for a refill on 2/4. Not a controlled medication. Do the math, Walgreens. read more

My son went to the TakeCare clinic on a Sunday with an upper respiratory infection and was prescribed a name brand inhaler and also needed a special mask to go with it.(He's 21) When he picked up the prescription, it was $90. They told him the computer wasn't working and to come back and he would be reimbursed for the difference.. He brought the receipt back the following Saturday and they said he had to come in Monday when a manager was there. My husband took the receipt in on monday, they said too many days had passed but he insisted on talking to someone. They said there was no problem with the insurance and that was all they covered. When I called our insurance, there was a $70 co-pay for the medicine and no coverage for the $25 mask. They said there was another name brand inhaler that would have been $10. It just seemed like the left hand didn't know what the right was doing. We made 2 extra trips to the store based on what he was told, not to mention the wait when you go. I am going to stick with CVS;I just wish they would open up a clinic. read more

HORRIBLE!!!! Please go to CVS on Clayton Road instead of this hell hole. I have been to Walgreens THREE times in the past 5 days now. I was told my doctor needed to fill out an authorization for one of my medications after he called it in to the pharmacy, so I asked for 5 to get me through the weekend and then the doctor can fill out the authorization. I was called on Tuesday and told my prescription was ready to be picked up. I went in and was told by a very unfriendly older lady tech that it wasn't ready and that the note in the computer said he had NOT filled out the authorization, so I asked for 6 more to get me though 3 more days (all the while paying outrageous out of pocket cash). Then YESTERDAY I received a call from the PHARMACIST who said "the doctor filled out the authorization. The rest of your medication is available and please bring in your receipts from the past 2 visits so we're able to refund you that money." AWESOME! So I go in TODAY and was told by the very bitchy male pharmacist with the glasses that my prescription wasn't ready to be picked up. I asked why? He said it's too soon for a refill. I explained it wasn't a refill, I was paying for a handful of my medication out of pocket since my doctor needed to fill out an insurance authorization form. He started huffing and puffing and said that I was given 6 on the 16th so it's too soon for a refill. I said yes, I take 2 a day, 16, 17, and today is the 18th!!!! He said "ugh, well, you must have misunderstood yesterday, we have to call insurance and it's going to be awhile." I lost it. I've worked in customer service before, so I'm extremely sensitive to errors, however, I broke down. I started crying and saying that I did not misunderstand, this is now the THIRD time I was called and told my prescription was ready when it was not! Is there a leprechaun pharmacist running around calling people and letting them know their prescriptions are ready??? So I'm crying and saying how frustrated I am and the guy walks away from me and starts changing the garbage bags!!!!! OH I'M REDDDDD at this point. So the pharmacist ends up stating it was his mistake, he forgot to issue a new RX number which was why it wasn't going through insurance. I, ME, MYSELF who has been disrespected to a whole new level by this queen, I start apologizing to HIM for getting worked up and upset and he's huffing and puffing and under his breathe says "okay fine", shoves my prescription bag at me and turns his back on me and walks to the drive through. I'm DONE with them!!!! I've said this numerous times but this blatant disrespect is my last straw. BYE FELICIA!!!! I'm getting mines at CVS! read more
