Dr. Art is phenomenal - he quickly, accurately diagnosed underlying cause of my shoulder pain, explained it and then prescribed a relatively simple PT cure - stretching & progressive strengthening exercises. It has produced amazing results - my shoulder pain is virtually gone and as an added bonus my upper arms look great! Next my wife strained her lower back 2 mos. ago so I brought her with. Dr. Art diagnosed and remedied her back pain. But much more importantly he convinced my wife she might be able to overcome her balance issues (resulting from suffering a stroke 17 yrs ago) & possibly eliminate her reliance on a cane if she undertook a PT exercise program (again stretching & progressive strengthening exercises). In 8 weeks she's made great progress so we're very optimistic! Finally Dr. Art's been considerate & flexible re our stingy insurance provider - since they won't cover our PT sessions we pay Dr. Art directly. He charges us less than the trainer at our health club would charge while delivering exceptional results! We greatly appreciate Dr. Art's help! Marie is the receptionist/biller, and she is always warm, friendly, and very enjoyable to speak with. Finding a good chiropractor is always a chore - they only want to take insurance, they want to do a FULL physical (and charge an arm and a leg for it), and they want you on a plan, so they can charge accordingly. Luckily, there are chiropractors like Dr. Scheetz. He performed a reasonable physical for a reasonable (very reasonable, since he does need to know what condition you're in before he can accept you as a patient). I like weight lifting, and the heavier the better. But that puts a lot of strain on your body and spine. Many chiropractors have let me know my neck is one of the hardest they have had to adjust. (Not a great claim to fame, by the way) Dr Scheetz, had no problem getting me adjusted. The fee is very reasonable - comparable, or better, than others around. And he has other services as well. Glad I found him, and I'll be coming back, while I'm in the area.
