When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

Very disappointing experience with this company given their years in the area. Walked in and…read moreadvised sales person that I really had no budget. He steared us toward quite mid grade carpet at best. When carpet was delivered installer advised that he wasn't sure we would have enough. Reality was that we did have enough for probably a closet or small room. After the install we immediately noted visible seams in the middle of the room and damage to the drywall base on new drywall in my sons room. We called Yanceys and the installer came back out and said that there was nothing he could do about the seams and that the carpet looked like "different color" to him. The salesman advised at that point they would get the manufacturer involved and that's the last we heard from them. Regarding the drywall we were advised to "get a quote to fix it and as long as it's not outrageous we will pay for it". I've never dealt with a company that just really doesn't care. Very disappointed and would not recommend them at all. I will not work with them again.
