Fairly spacious sites typical of OSP. Clean, well kept. Shower houses modern and clean. Looks like they are adding more full hook up sites

Huge camp sites in the cul-de-sac

We camp a lot and never ever have we encountered such massive sized lots. The cul-de-sac spots are amazing and there is room for boats, extra vehicles and plenty of playing and sitting. Massive sites!!! The camp host was friendly, quite hours are observed and areas are well mowed with lots of wildlife amongst us. We were greeted by a momma deer and two baby fawns. There is a boat dock area that offers amazingly stunning sunset views. If your a senior Ohioian prices are $14 mid week, we are not but so happy we camped here. They are pricey on firewood, there are locals thay have cut wood, too. Always burn local wood. Venture into Xenia and Yellow Springs for fun jaunts.

Drove a couple hours to come here. Disappointed overall. Drove all around in the country because the address used to map directions from the web landed us in a corn field. Eventually found what we thought was the park but it wasn't really. ‍ There are signs that mark the park but there isn't one area into the park. Landers Road on the park map isn't even a road anymore. ‍ If you want to check this place out, get the GPS location for the exact place you want to go. The Pioneer Village was cute. Pretty run down compared to something like Spring Mill. Despite being there at 4pm, the bathrooms and the entire village was closed. ‍ DOG TRAINING AREA: 1) This could be better marked with signage. We drove around for a half hour looking for this place. 2) Be aware this is only for hunting dogs! This is a brushy field. If you do not have hunting dogs- don't waste your time.

Front park entry off center street.

I was looking for hiking trails along the shores but there is no established trails here. There are some short improvised trails made by the campers. So poor for hikers. I asked about trails and the person on duty did not know of any. On the camping side: there are very nice paved and grassy loops that seem great for campers and tents. It looks like (did not ask) that they can be reserved and there is a fee. Boating ramp is provided on a large lake. Water level was quite low this month and it would take some finesse launching.

This was the lake that I accessed from the campground.

Great camp ground. Camp sites were large enough. Showers were not as good as most state parks. Ok Big lake.

It's a saltwater pool And all the customers are friendly and laid-back. you know it's a campground, there's gonna be spiders, it's a public shower yeah there might be hair on the floor. But I can tell you their public showers and bathrooms are CLEAN. Som campgrounds have no showers or bathrooms and I've been places where I just went out in the woods and dug a hole lol then waited until I got home for a shower. It's a great campground! I mean it's a campground you're not in a $5000 a night hotel so enjoy it. It's one of the few places left like that. I'm generation X and there used to be those types of places everywhere when we were kids, and those places are disappearing quickly! so if you get a chance to take your kids to Beechwood acres, take them , disconnect from the wire and the Internet, and enjoy family time. Best wishes.

Wow. LOUD. Disgusting. Dirty. Campground. Think twice before you stay here. There are nicer cleaner…read morecampgrounds in the area do your research. There are NOT Full hook-ups. Just electricity & water ONLY. There is NO shade at all. They have removed about 99.9% of the trees through-out the campsite to squeeze in as many campers as they can. You guessed it. You are packed in there like sardines. Camping right on top of one another. You can hear your neighbor snoring, that's how close you are camping next to the next camper. It's ridiculous. There is Mainly gravel, Zero grass. Look at my image. You can see how close the two fire pits are close together, a camper sides in that gravel slot next to us. So, yes that's very close!! O.M.G. The showers. NASTY, NASTY, NASTY. Reminds me of the hills has eyes. So scary! My children would not even go in them at all. Images attached. Hair attached to the side walls. The showers are 2'x3'. Very tiny. Not joking. Mold and rust through-out the entire shower room. Ceiling, floors, walls. Absolutely disgusting. You have a screen door to shut behind you, and lock, then a curtain to close, it does NOT even go all the way to the floor. ANYONE can easily Get in there!! You will need a tetanus shot leaving the shower. The restrooms, Very dirty, not cleaned daily. Toilet's do not flush, you know what it always in there. The playground is way too small, Very old and Needs updated. Quiet time starts at 11pm. Ha. That's not enforced at all. The drunks stay up all night and flock to the center of the campground yelling, screaming, fighting and arguing. Live bands & karaoke play to 12-1am. So, definitely twice before staying here. We regret it so much!

We were told this was a safe and family friendly campground by Paul and Sarah. We rather quickly…read morefound out it wasn't. Paul and Sarah ended up putting us in A1 where they were. They charged us $650 for the deck that was in place and we didn't get to see it until we moved in. it was completely rotted through in several places. definitely not worth it. We ended up camping there maybe 4 weekends. One of our daughters absolutely hated it. This is a kid who loves nature and all things outside. We were asking how we wanted to set up payments and were told we would save $100'if we paid the whole season up front, so we didn't. They didn't automatically give us the $100 off, we had to ask for it. We were aware we would be responsible for the grass, but we're not told it would be more strict than an HOA. They didn't say we had to be there every weekend to cut it. I got calls and messages if two weeks went by without a mow. I took a photo of my daughter standing in the grass the first time we were told we had to mow it, after they fussed and said they mowed it and charged me $35. They are closed Monday -Wednesday so you had to mow Thursday-Sunday and they don't care what is happening in your life or how far you have to drive to go mow 3" tall grass. If you don't spray or pull weeds in the gravel, every weekend, you were called to do it. 1) If we had been told we must come and mow every weekend, we would have walked away right there and then. Had we known we were paying $650 to use a rotted deck for a season, we would have looked for a spot without a deck or one that isn't rotten. Had we known they would be more strict about grass than our HOA, we would have walked away. Had we known how completely inconsiderate many would be at the small pool, we would have walked away. The FB page was governed and very little info was to be posted and had to go through management, but a posting in July 2026 was very informative. It talked about the rude pool people, unsupervised kids in others sites, how a strange man had been found there, a loaded gun at the playground, people drinking and driving golf carts, smoking and vaping in the non smoking areas etc.... When FB post was brought to Paul's attention and we wanted to leave. He would not acknowledge the post and immediately removed us from the FB page so we couldn't go back to get evidence of the post. We have young daughters and one is special needs, so safety is a top priority. With how much drama this seasonal spot was causing and then our kids being unsafe, we told them we needed out. My husband asked for a partial refund for the season due to all the things we were not made aware of and then the safety of our kids and we were told no. I asked where, in the contract I signed, does it state that if we forfeit the money paid for the season if we have to leave due to the reasons given, and I have received radio silence. We are trying to find the actual names and contact information for this Ryan and Miles and have been unsuccessful so far. As a Mom, I will not take chances in regards to my kids safety. I suppose I should have seen a red flag when Sarah told me my girls were fine to walk out of my site to a bathroom. She was either mocking me for being over protective (one child is special needs) or trying to give me a false sense of safety. They talked about how family friendly and safe the place was as well as all of the kids and how they have 26 grandkids. $3760 plus extra costs for required plugs, mower, etc etc.... To have maybe 4 weekends there spent cleaning, mowing, pulling weeds, scrubbing built up algae off the site and trying to get most of the pine sap off the camper and my vehicle etc etc Those who pay in installments have a better chance of not losing a fortune. If anyone is aware of any lawsouts,'please point me to them. If you have the owners info, please share. I won't stop until I have all details and file everything I possibly can to get a portion of what we spent refunded, and I want to make sure more people are made aware of the experience of camping there and the things that are hidden from prospective consumers. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. There are many family friendly campgrounds in the area that offer seasonal and don't have a bunch of hidden rules and strict expectations. No one has time to drive over an hour one way just to mow grass that is maybe 3" tall or just have these unknown strict expectations put on them AFTER they paid.
