Love this spot. Been here a few times. Beef jerky selection here is excellent. The quality is great too. Highly recommend.

You don't need to go to Australia to get some 'roo jerky. This place is fabulous and has unlimited types of jerky meats (and non-meats) for all. I fancy the shark jerky and vegan jerky. Bought a few packs of wild game jerky for the fam to share and try. Turtle jerky was tough! Only bought a few since they're priced at $20 a package. Fun fact: reptiles are not pescatarian - so skip the turtle and gator jerkies. read more

YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 58/100 If you're a beef jerky fiend, THIS is your spot. Holy WOW! They have a wide variety of items! They have the regular beef jerky, peppered, teriyaki, you know... the normal stuff. But then they also have all other sorts like turkey, elk, bison, etc... they even offer special jerky treats for K9's! And if that wasn't enough, they'd even let you sample some pieces before buying. (And that's how I ended up buying a bag of Australian outback style jerky. It was just dang good!) Price point is fair. Cashier was nice. She even gave us a free sticker! Not sure when I'm coming back since I don't live around this 'hood, but absolutely coming by when the opportunity comes! read more

Have you ever heard of Bloody Mary Vodka flavored beef jerky? How about Moonshine? Well, you need to get yourself to Fort Worth and check out the Beef Jerky Outlet for some delicious varieties of jerkies. Not to mention the large selection of hot sauce! I purchased a Peach Habanero sauce and we also got a Blueberry Ghostpepper one. The peach one tasted sweet and wasn't really spicy, but I was told the blueberry one was pretty spicy but balanced out by the blueberry flavor. I enjoy seeing cool, modern twists to items such as beef jerky and hot sauce. I'd try all the flavors if I had the Scoville capacity to indulge in things that would make my tongue and face numb! I'll just stick to Hot Cheetos in the meantime... read more

I mean... It's beef jerky.... (and turkey jerky and bacon jerky) Just because a couple of the flavors are fantastic - the Prime Rib and the maple glazed turkey - plus the fact you can get a sample of anything with no feeling of an obligation to buy, I give it 5 stars. It's located next to the train tracks in a sort of alley where a bunch of little shops are located as well as restaurants. I am not a fan of all of the flavors, but I've mad purchases every time I've visited, and the T-Shirts are hilarious. read more

I don't know anyone who doesn't like Jerky in some form. Its the perfect snack for being on a road trip, camping and just about every other situation one could imagine that involves having a quick snack handy. I dare say Jerky is superior even to granola. Beef Jerky Outlet is a big dumb chain that I generally wouldn't give the time of day. I happened to wonder into this specific location while at the Ft. Worth stockyards with my wife. I walked in not expecting to buy anything but to get a few free samples. Next thing I know I was the proud owner of 50 dollars worth of Beef Jerky. The shop has an insane amount of variety. They have everything from Kangaroo to Alligator and Turkey and just about every flavor you can imagine and then some you cant. Prices really arent that bad either and they offer discounts if you buy more than 5 bags. The Jerky here is very tasty in that convenience store kind of way. Its not boutique jerky nor is anywhere near home made. The problem is that all of the Jerky is covered in corn syrup and artificial flavoring and is probably made in factory somewhere. I feel like if you realize you are getting mass produced artificially flavored beef jerky and you're ok with that then Beef Jerky Outlet is great, I didn't quite realize it was all covered in corn syrup when I made my purchase despite the fact that the ingredients were clearly listed if I would have taken the time to read them. I'm giving this place 3 stars because its not that bad if you know what you're getting and don't care about the HFC coating on all the jerky... I however will probably never buy anything from them again. read more

They have the meats. OK, I know that's a fast food slogan, but seriously. This store is literally barrel after barrel of cured meat. Oh, and you can try whatever you want (make sure they get you the samples though-they wear gloves!). If you buy over $100 you get a free t-shirt. We tried, we really did, but came up $30 short. However, they sell their stuff online, so I do see some more bacon jerky and turkey jerky in my near future! Woo! read more

Vegetarians need not come in! There's really nothing for you here! OK.. maybe some spices and sauces, but that's about it. LOL. This store is all about jerky! We came in while walking around the stockyards. Upon walking in, we were greeted and told about the different types of jerky. We got to sample several varieties, and we ended up purchasing some of the garlic jerky (obviously). Neat place to check out! read more

This place is located in the Stockyards, so be prepared to pay for parking if you can't find a spot along the edge of the area. It's also a little hard to find if you're not familiar with the Stockyards layout, but if you go down one of the "alleys" after all the restaurants, you'll find it! Everyone is very nice here so feel free to ask for directions. Once we finally found the store, we were immediately greeted by a nice woman who let us know we could try whatever we wanted! The jerky is a bit more than I usually spend, priced at almost $10 for 4oz of jerky, but it was a new experience and I was determined to buy my friend some delicious jerky since he's a huge fan! They have bourbon-flavored, Cajun, Australian, BBQ, spicy, prime rib, and so many other flavors in barrels around the store. They also have lots of salsas, hot sauces, dry rubs, and seasonings at the front of the store. We settled on a 4oz. bag of the Prime Rib jerky and two sweet honey sticks sold at the front for fifty cents a stick! read more

How this place stays in business amazes me! As soon as you walk in you're greeted and asked if u I want to try any samples. Hey have TONS of options (cajon, boiled crawfish, smoked, hot, BBQ, sweet and many more in beef, chicken, pork and other types of meat). I tried a few that were all okay to pretty good. The problem is that they're all VERY expensive. My father in law bought 4 oz for $17.99. $72 a pound is very pricey for jerky! They also have tons of hot sauces for sale which we didn't buy or haven't tried. read more

Stopped in the Beef Jerky Outlet at the Stockyards a few weeks back on a Sunday. I had a great experience at the store. The young man working that afternoon was very attentive to all the customers in the store (and there were a ton) he was very helpful and informative. I tried a a few samples and was blown away at how good they are. I ended up buying the Ham Jerky and the Sweet & Hot both of which I suggest. I highly recommend stopping in and trying a few flavors you will not be disappointed. All in all I had a great experience at the Beef Jerky Outlet where I received outstanding customer service and took home some incredibly tasty jerky. I will definitely be going back and suggest you try this place out. read more

Delicious jerky! The staff members were super helpful. We asked for popular items and they recommended the Honey BBQ flavored smoked beef and The Reaper smoked beef. I think the smoky meats are a bit softer and juicer. We sampled a few but decided on those two. The spicy level on the Reaper is sneaky... The heat creeps on you slowly so make sure you take small bites. The Honey BBQ is also very delicious. I think there's a bundle deal - we purchased 6 regular jerky for $50. read more
