Every time I come back to Florida I want to visit "Beefs" because of their good food and atmosphere. I usually go to one of the originals in Plant City but I had just gotten in from the airport so we came to this one. It took forever to be greeted! When we finally were, my friend ordered coffee - the girl huffed and told us she wasn't our waitress. When "our" waitress finally came over she had a little girl ( probably 6 or 7) following her- she said it was the owners daughter?! It was weird but whatever. The coffee was awful- my friend had to put a lemon in it to help the taste! When the waitress took our order my grandma asked for the curly fries. The waitress told us that the owner doesn't order curly fries because of the cost and he doesn't make a profit on them so he doesn't order them. She told us they were discontinued at all beefs but my grandma had just had them at a different beefs last week so we knew that wasn't true. I ordered the grilled chicken salad-which I've had a million times- and it was disgusting and had like tiny shavings of chicken and dregs of lettuce. The mushrooms were slimy and there weren't any tomatoes and the cheese was gross- I was shocked! ( I was sick to my stomach almost immediately after leaving) My grandma had a rueben- (which she just had at the new beefs in New Port Richie and was raving about it after she had it) but it was just as horrible as my salad. It was greasy and falling apart and the french fries were scraps of french fries- I guess the owner was cutting costs on all fries! The service was ok but the food was THE WORST!! Saying we are disappointed is an understatement! We definitely wouldn't recommend this one or ever go back! It's really sad because when Jim Melody started beefs he took pride in his food and the establishment and It's just a shame that the owner at this franchise is ruining the reputation of such an awesome place! read more

Disappointed again. After the last time we were here we figured we would try it again. Ppl seated after us got their food before us. They delivered my food before anyone else's at our table,my two kids and husband. By the time they delivered my daughters food, 10 minutes after mine mine was cold. Food had no seasoning. What really got me is it took my saying something to the waitress to find out where everyone else's food was. Yes we were given 10$ off our 50 plus bill. Still doesn't make up for it. This Beefs has an awesome deal on Mondays. You can get a burger and fries for $5 and select beers for $1 after 5:30. I thought the interior was nice compared to other Beefs I've visited. It also seemed much larger. There's also a full bar that services both inside and the outdoor patio. Our waitress was quick to take our order and made sure our drinks were full. I ordered the special of the day, which was your choice of chicken, fish, or steak tacos. I chose steak and thought they were decent. It comes with chips and salsa, plus I ordered a side of queso. The meal was good and the price was fair. It doesn't seem like there are too many dining options in the area, so it's a decent place under the circumstances. read more

I've tried this location's pick up service twice. The first time they had us wait close to an hour for our order. Today, to avoid that, I called at 4pm for a 530pm pick up, on a Thursday night. Not prime time. So I arrive at 530pm and call them that I have arrived as per the sign on the pick up spot. I get put on hold for 15 minutes, no one ever comes back to the phone. I hang up and call back. I ask for the manager. She says my order can not be found because 4pm is shift change. So??? I start to leave and she finds it, then she comes out, charges me for the order (no mention of the 45 minutes wait I went through) and hands me a cold dinner and tells me to have a good night and she will send someone out with my change. I asked for the district managers info and she said there is no one but me, its a single owner and we do not report to corporate. So... Dear Single Owner; you should be ashamed of your manager and staff in general, who treats people like this and expects return business? Greater than you have fallen and the hand writing is on the wall, and it says your employees don't care. The downfall can't be far ! read more

Never ate here before so we thought we would give it a try. It's a chain so you get what you get. We went on a Friday so we had the seafood special. Fish and shrimp. It's a bit loud if you want quiet. But again it's basically a sports bar. It's clean, they are quick so no huge complaints there. We will be back. read more

Food was just average. O'Brady burger was thin party and bland. The Turkey Brioche was very average. No wow factor at all. Coleslaw was yucky!!i don't recommend getting that as a side item. Not the worst place in the world to eat, but not a place I would be likely to go as 1st choice. read more

My husband and I were going here on Friday afternoons, around 5 p.m. The service hasn't been the greatest but we kept going back. Food is good. Anyhow the last time we went we sat on the porch as always. We sat for 10 minutes, 2 waitresses passed and smiled and kept going. No menus, no drinks. Finally after another 5 minutes a server came over. She asked what we wanted to drink, me a water, hubby a draft beer. She brought his beer after another 10 minutes, took our order, I had 8 wing basket and he had a Waterson sandwich to go. Finally my water arrived. 20 minutes later she came back and said it was almost ready. 10 more minutes, now we are up to one hour and 15 minutes, she then brought hubbys to go order out!!!! Still not dinner for me, people came in. they got drinks, ordered, 10 more minutes and they had there fried pickels. We were told the fryer was crowded. No drink refills, nothing. So we finally got up and left. We left the to go sandwich and all. Just so you know,,,,WE WILL NEVER EVER EVER be back.! Unreal. And we really did like it there. They were not even busy. read more

Recently changed the menu, not only do they have a different food special every night Monday-Friday but they also have 2-4-1 well liquor & mixed drinks all day every day . My family tried to take me here for Mother's Day. It has been a favorite of ours. But today we were asked to leave because we had our 5 lbs puppy with us in a stroller. We have taken her there to eat on the patio at least a half dozen times BUT on Mother's Day we had to leave. We WILL NEVER GO BACK and neither will any of our pet parent friends. We go to different Beef O' Brady's and I have to say this is the dirtiest one I've ever been to. It was gross. The table and floors were noticeably dirty, and both were sticky. I would never eat here again. This store needs a complete scrub down with some strong cleaner. read more

Went to this Beef 'O' Brady's tonight and wish I never did! First thing I noticed was the stench of cigarettes and that went on all night. We were told that it was probably people on the outside patio and out there they were allowed to smoke. Nasty!!!! Secondly, I like my wings crispy and told our waitress that I wanted them cooked for 30 minutes! She said oh, you like them crispy! 40 minutes went by still no food. Finally came out and I could tell by the texture of the wings they had only been cooked for like 20 minutes. Still we were smelling cigarette smoke. We couldn't take it any longer and left. When we went outside we noticed "no one" was out on the patio outside, "no one!" That tells me that they were allowing the people at the bar to smoke inside! The outside was closed!!!! I will never again step foot in that piece of crap establishment! Thought we could stay closer to home, sorry B-dubs I should've known better!!! We (4 adults) dined at this Beef's on May 3, 2019. It was only about 5:15 when we got there and it was already crowded..and very noisy. Our server, Makayla, informed us immediately that she was "new" and normally we try to cut someone a little slack when they are just starting out at a new place. We placed our order from the 2 for $20 menu. Our drinks came and that was ok, except I asked her for a lime for my drink. She came back with it in her fingers!!. Our appetizers came but we had no plates to put them on. Had to ask another server for plates or they would have been cold. There was only a small mix-up when the entrees came, however when it was time to get our checks, oh my! Most all prices were charged at the regular price, not the two for twenty. Also, there were no curly fries, just straight ones. I thought curly fries were a "Beef;s specialty". This restaurant is close to home, but we probably won't bother to come here again. read more
