A month or so ago, we gave a review how happy we were with the service at this Dennys. We had the same waitress that time and today. Today we were there, and I ordered over medium eggs, and they came out well over done. There was not even any yolk. It was so hard. I sent them back, and they were the exact same eggs that she brought the first time, except that they were even more brown (I think they just reheated the eggs and brought them back). She knew there was an issue cause she usually visits with us and once the eggs came back for the 2nd time, she no longer interacted with us. I have pictures but the review won't let me post pictures. I was the first to review this Denny's many years ago. Of course with the economy, the prices have gone way up, but they still have specials and the grand slam specials they have right now are really good. I like the super slam two eggs, two bacon, two sausage hashbrowns and two delicious pancakes. You can't go wrong at good old Denny's. read more

Between the meth head in line at the check out and an argumentative deceitful waitress this was a rough experience all the way around. If your ambiance preference is drug addict chic this place is perfect. Dirty, incomplete orders, confusion from the kitchen, and my Santa Fe sizzler tasted like fish water. Gross. Waitress flat out lied about what comes in a build your own slam and argued with us. Terrible service. Sub par food by Denny's standards. The only good thing I can say is my pancakes tasted good. I ordered online yesterday being I had surgery on Thursday so I'm not cleared to drive yet , our order was pretty large and delivered by DoorDash- the order was supposed to be contactless but he beat on our door and my husband told him to hold on because we have dogs and the dasher said come get your food in broken English and my husband tried to tell him he was coming and the dasher just continued to beat on our door and our dog ran out because the dasher didn't comprehend NO CONTACT. Food wise it was horrible , the food was undercooked and cold and there was what appeared to be a worm in my eggs so I tried to call the store multiple times and the phone just rings and rings,have tried calling guest services since 10am and still can't get anyone to answer the phone. This is absolutely ridiculous that you can't reach anyone. That was my 1st and LAST order from that place. I will be contacting my bank to dispute the absurd amount for my order since no one can be reached because this service is pitiful! Don't waste your money on this place!!! read more

Apparently slams now only come with one bacon or one sausage. Or else our waitress (9-14-23 ~7pm female black hair) was confused. Half our orders came out wrong. Our expectations were not high - it's Denny's after all. And yet I was still disappointed. I ordered the Santa Fe slam. I love chorizo but whatever this was tasted like it had been rinsed in dirty dishwater. My nephew ordered the sampler and instead Of bbq wings they sent out buffalo. My mother ordered a slam and they shorted her on the meat. My dad ordered pumpkin pecan pancakes and they came without pecans. All in all it was a train wreck. We spent about an hour here and my drink was refilled twice. It sat empty most of the time. The menus were sticky. The table was mostly clean. The waitress insisted things were right except the bbq situation. They made that right but were out of pecans. Instead of their special syrup (which we were able to get on the side) they put the standard syrup all over the pancakes. It was disappointing all together. read more

You been to one Denny's you've been to them all? Wrong. It's like any other breakfast joint? Wrong again. Feels a tad more spacious than the norm for one. We were a large group and were given the big corner booth. Two, the food was brought out to us fairly quick considering they were a full house, and considering our crew. It was filling, no food complaints. The FOOD itself was like any other Denny's, but I like breakfast. Three, and most importantly, what made this restaurant stand out was the Service. The waitress, I wish I remembered her name went over and beyond. She was pleasant, attentive, even with the kiddos. I haven't been in a Denny's in FOREVER. The last time I was in one, it wasn't a good experience. This Denney's... This was a nice experience. The diner was clean, the staff was friendly and they were either down someone or maybe they were just short staffed that day, what ever the reason, the waitresses were working as Hostess, cashier and waitress and they were busy. We were seated, our drink order of coffee and water was placed and retrieved for us quite quickly, even though the server was the only one on duty. She came back to us in a few minutes after seeing to her other tables and took our orders, we kept it simple, just a few of the pancake puppies and 2 All American Slams. Once more, the food came out promptly, the eggs were perfect, the hash browns were crispy and the bacon was well done. Everything was absolutely wonderful. My beau and I got to enjoy our meal and occasionally chat with our waitress about her tattoos. We will come back as the Bayonet Pointe location rocks. read more

My daughter and I both ordered the same thing - BYO omelette with bacon and cheese, except she had cheddar cheese and I had American. Or at least she ordered cheddar and I ordered American. Hers had what appeared to be shredded cheddar on top, but American inside. Mine had what appeared to be either a low fat version of American cheese on top or a slice of cheddar - kind of tasted cheddary, with cheddar inside. Plus, the amount of cheese and bacon in the omelettes was lacking. I like to know for sure what I am eating, but we both like both types of cheese so it wasn't a big deal. One of the worst experiences at Denny's I have ever had. I was a big proponent of Denny's over IHOP but never again. I went here with my wife and kids, took the waitress about 20 min (literally because I timed it) before she came and even said hello. She finally took drink orders which also took another 10-15 minutes. I order food and took a whopping 34 minutes to come out. Food was cold and I could tell it was done in the back and never picked up by waitress. Drinks ran out, and of course waitress didn't refill and I had to constantly remind her. To top it all off they forgot my wife's dish completely and the manager came out and kept giving excuses that they are backed up today....although the restaurant was clearly empty. It was literally my family and maybe 3-4 other tables. When I got to pay the manager takes 20% off for inconvience, I had already brought a coupon in for 25% off (which is the main reason I came in). I told her I want my coupon to be added, because it's not my fault you guys screwed up so much to have to give me a 20% discount. She refused, and said I could call corporate for further details. Called corporate, HR department more incompetent than that waitress. I will never go to another Denny's establishment ever in my life. There is way too much competition out there as far as breakfast restaurants to deal with this. read more

Arrived mid morning to have a quick value slam for $4. This isn't a corporate location. Meaning the AARP card gets you 15% off your bill not the $1 coffee I really wanted. I have never written a single review, good or bad, for any restaurant... until now. I have to say that the management, the staff and of course, the food at this Dennys is absolutely phenomenal. We had car trouble and had nowhere to go one evening so we popped in for some coffee and ended up staying for hours. The servers were fast, efficient and fun. The manager, Richie, made sure we were taken care of and went out of his way to check on us. And the food.... amazing. Everything was perfect. If you are ever in Bayonet Point, stop by have a bite...you won't regret it. read more

Don't waste your time or money! We had to wait 35 minutes to be seated at 12:30pm today (and there were plenty of open tables available). Then we were seated but had to wait 45 minutes for our food. My food came on a very small plate and was hanging over the edges of the plate. No offer of a little side plate to help hold the food piled on top ( toast). While we were waiting for our food the waitress came over and apologized for the long wait on our food and asked if we wanted some free soup to hold us over. Everything about this place is old and gross. The tables, the seats, the carpet, the walls...everything. We went here for breakfast and there was nobody at the hostess station, so after several minutes we seated ourselves. Our server was very nice, but she forgot a few things. One of us had to stop eating until she finally came back with the drink refill she had promised over 10 minutes prior. The food, to be fair, was okay. The only real disappointment was that the over-medium fried eggs were way underdone. The pancakes, potatoes, and sausage were all fine. We won't be going back, though. I have frequented this Denny's multiple times with my family/grandchildren. Kids meals are large portions and reasonably priced, Drinks are on the high side though. Our last visit was not so great though. Server was friendly but very slow. With 3 hungry grandchildren , it is no fun waiting. Server didn't return to table to see if we needed anything else (ketchup, refills, etc.) I sent my grandson to another server for those things. Even had to have him go ask for a take out box. WOW this place is the worst. Waited for our food and exceptionally long time. Two tables who sat down after us got their food faster than we did. When I asked about our food it was brought out right away but was COLD. My oder was wrong and still had to wait on my crepe. Also, don't be fooled by the menu saying you get two crepes, it's one crepe folded in half then folded again. Manager argued that the order was right, she put it together herself. Haven't been to a Denny's in years. Not our typical dinner destination but it was a food desert on Us 19 as late as it was. Plus didn't want fast food We ordered Skillet Dinners- Santa Fe and Spicy Chicken, decaf coffee. I ordered tortillas and a side salad. The waitress brewed fresh coffee. Salad was fresh ( no limp lettuce) with an adequate amount of cheese and croutons. Both skillets arrived hot. Both were tasty and would be purchased again. The waitress (Tara) was pleasant and proficient. Kept the coffee cup filled. She kept the dining room clean. Our entire experience would be defined as fair to good. The fair comes into play because we ordered the pancake puppies for dessert and they took way too long to get! They were, however delicious and worth the wait. The small is almost too much for two. There was a smell when we opened the door to enter. It smelled like movie popcorn! Over all not a bad experience and we will consider dining here again. read more

Wait at front door to be seated for a few minutes, the manager was at the counter talking to a customer, she never acknowledge me standing there, I was getting ready to leave when a server came up to me and sat me at a table near the counter.after the server sat me she took my drink order and got it. She gave me some time to order my meal, all this time the manager was still talking to the customer at the counter ,from what I heard he was a regular there. Later the manager walk by me a few times an never said a word to me. After I was done eating I waited about 15 minutes then I ask another server for my bill sence the last time I saw my server was when I got my food.
