Kinda wished I got it medium rear but the bartender recommended I get in medium. That's fine but you should make sure your cook can cook medium rear too. But I can let that slide, kid looked young in the back. Been there don't that so I get it. Flavor was good, nothing special but built well. Came with a side of fry's. Like the theme, over all not Irish but bar themed in general. Offered a few gotcha games for fun and entertainment but reminds me of some of dive bars I would go to back home. This would be more accurate as a 3.5 star. The grilled chicken, zucchini and broccoli were good. The chicken and mashed potatoes were very unimpressive. The portion size was small, chicken was chewy, breading was mushy and the gravy was extremely salty. This was a carryout order and the pick-up time was really fast. We went to dinner as a party of six Monday evening January 12, at Beaver O Brady's in Land O Lakes. We have been going to this location since it opened in 2008. This was by far the worst experience we have ever had. Over the years it has gone up and down, but now of the new management it is down. The meals came out late. Beverages were late when the meals came out four out of six of them were wrong and that they were either cold or missing items. Management came out and was very argumentative with some of us insisting that food was not cold. One of the gentlemen at our table had a small portion of the fish out of place and she insisted that he ate it while he tasted it and found it was too cold to eat and she became argumentative. Needless to say, we will not be going back to this location until they get their act together. One of our party never got her meal until we were leaving the restaurant. Went to Beef O'Brady's for the first time ever... crazy, right?... this past week. My sister and I popped in for a late lunch/early dinner after doing some work on my parent's house. Being from NJ, and not having ever seen a "Beef's" before, we wanted to see what the hype was all about. Here's what we found out: Yeah, it's a sports bar. About 7 or 8 big screen TV's. A big bar. Lots of tables. Our waitress was clueless. We asked for things listed in the menu and were told they didn't have that. When we pointed it out in the menu we got "Ohhhh... that. Ok." They were out of about 6 things... instead of just telling us what they were out of. We played guessing games. Waited about 20 minutes for our food. Was ready for it to be awful but- actually. Quite tasty. I got a chicken sammich with fries. Juicy fried chicken breast.. crunchy fries. Tasty Cole slaw. Very happy mouth. My sister got a rice bowl with chicken. She said it was very good, as well. If you can overlook a ditzy waitress and aren't in a rush? This is your place. Took off one star for the service... other than that? We decided to check out this Beef's since it had been a few years. Well, we now remember why we quit eating there. We waited and waited and waited to even get sodas, then our server disappeared into the back for a good 10-15 minutes. When she finally showed up again and asked if we were ready to order, she said had forgotten her tablet in the back and disappeared again. At that point we decided to leave but rather than walk out and not pay for the two Diet Cokes, I went to the bar (where I also had to wait because there was no bartender at first) to break a $20 so that I could leave cash on the table for the drinks. Big mistake - both salads had the white, hard tough butt end of romaine lettuce, that you cut off and throw away at home. To pay this much for a salad, and can't eat half of it. Tasteless. Poor quality control. Should never have come out of the kitchen like that. Mixed greens is not romaine. Tasted old and in fridge too long. When reported to the wait staff, blank look. Won't be back. Over the years, Beef's has been a place I usually avoid after multiple mediocre or poor dining experiences. It's been a while and continues to be the same. Simple order - burger - medium, add bacon and jalapeño (I saw one of their burgers had fried jalapeño so I should have gotten that instead). Upcharge of $2 for adding jalapeño, $2.30 for 2 slices of bacon, bringing the simple cheeseburger meal to $19. Not a busy day, just a few other tables. Burger comes out, overcooked, and NO jalapeños. Waitress brings them out on the side - ice cold jarred jalapeño. Not fresh, $2 for 4 slices of cold tasteless jarred jalapeño. We were on a time crunch so no point in sending anything back and my fault for not looking for a better burger option. Just another mediocre/not great meal to add to the Beef's experience. read more

Queso was chunky and had pieces of chicken in it and a deep yellow color. Sent food back however when they came out again they were smothered in toppings to hide the Cojita cheese that was original excluded from the order. The place is almost empty so you would think they would get your order right. This place needs new management and the cooking staff needs retraining. Worst experience ever! Food and drinks took over an hour and we constantly had to follow up. Food came out burnt or under cooked and everything was cold. Finally after having enough we asked for the manager. The manager was apologetic but made no effort to improve our experience. Lastly, for the love of god please clean your lines for your draft beer. Gave it ONE MORE CHANCE, and they failed miserably. I gave up on this place months ago as it was so bad. It offers nothing good, and i mean nothing. Poor service, terrible food, and mistakes everywhere. This last time, I had an out of town guest and we went there due to timing constraints ( I live near this place and was in a rush). I figured we were just getting some beers and maybe a burger / fries. So what the heck, even this place can;t screw that up! Well I was wrong. After being seated by a waitress, she asks us if we would like to try one of their beer specials. We said "sure", what beers are on special? She had to leave and go find out. She came back and said "Bud Light, Miller Lite, and Michelob Ultra". We than asked " what's the special?" SHE had to leave AGAIN to go find out. I just started laughing and told my friend the history of this place. Finally we settled for a Fat Tire and a Yuengling. Well, the Fat Tire came out, but it wasn't a Fat Tire. Not sure what it was. My freind says his Yuengling was flat and tasted awful. So, we just left. I have NO confidence in ANYTHING they do. And that now includes their beer. I thouhgt I caould AT LEAST order those with no problem. I was wrong. Their complete lack of professionalism leads me to lose faith that they change their beer taps regularly. Last night was my 2nd visit to this location, & this time, we sat on the screened patio. It was loud. If I'd brought my kids when they were younger, this seating area would've been perfect, as the adjacent outside area had bean-toss games & plenty of room for kids to run around. But my group was already seated when I arrived, & since we'd all had kids, none of us were terribly bothered. Because one of the other ladies already had a yummy-looking sangria, I ordered one, too. That 1st one was good, w/ 3 pieces of fruit, & the great taste of sangria. But my 2nd tasted like watered-down cranberry juice, with only 1 piece of fruit...almost like I'd ordered 2 different drinks. As soon as I opened the menu, the Cheesy Bacon Pub Chips caught my eye, & I stopped looking. And that top layer was incredible! Unfortunately, the juicy bacon & cheesy goodness covered maybe a third of the potatoes on top, & underneath were just thin, dry potatoes. I'm no cook, but, a larger platter to spread out the potatoes before the cheese & bacon drizzling might have led to a better end mix. Just a thought. Our server was attentive & kept everyone's drinks coming as we liked. But the TVs on the patio went off before 10pm (on a Friday night), & the house lights came on just after 10. Our server brought our checks without our requesting them, so we felt like we were being rushed out so they could close that area. But really, this is Florida, & possibly the 3rd night this fall w/ temps below 80 - what's the hurry to close the patio? Oh, wait, we're in Land O'Lakes. Even with that odd 2nd sangria, I'd wanted to order a 3rd drink, but since we'd already paid, none of us wanted to start a new tab. As this isn't my neck-of-the-woods, I didn't check their hours, but the ladies I was with said they closed at 11pm on weekends, so I'm not sure why 4 drinking women were being rushed away, but whatev. Kitchen is understaffed and lights are WAY too bright and I have the background to opine on this. You seriously need someone to come in and do something, anything with your lights. I've worked with other fast casual national chains, fast food and fine dining establishments and can tell you you're really hurting your sales by having your bar area interrogation levels of bright. It's not just bright you also have a glare problem. Food is as should be expected for a Beefs. Not terrible, not knocking any socks off. Service is spotty depending on who's there and how busy your bartender is managing take out. read more
