Haven't been to a Miller's Ale House in a minute and everything is the same besides the prices. The cost has definitely risen, but it's still a good spot for some food, drinks, and socializing late at night. I ended up getting the Zingers Mac and Cheese this time around, which was delightfully cheesy, warm, and gooey, with a good cheese pull. The default sauce is buffalo, which I didn't mind! The zingers chicken was decent, wish there was more sauce on it and was as crispy as they advertised. We sat at the bar, getting a good view of hockey game and football draft. We called ahead to request to be accommodated with a comfortable area to dine for approximately 30 guests. Upon arrival we were greeted kindly by staff and seated in a great area in the patio. My family and I have been to many Miller's Ale House restaurants. I haven't been to this location in over a few years now. So, my husband and I decided to take our family out to dinner, here. My other grandkids live in Tampa, so they dine here quite a bit. We sat and ate on the patio. It's close to the outside bar. It's still cool out here and many fans and tvs. We ordered finger foods and entrees for out family. The kids ordered shrimp, burgers and fries off is the kids meals. We also ordered adult beverages for the adults and soft drinks. We also had appetizers, as well. The bill was over $200, but it was worth every dollar. We stopped going to the one in Brandon because they went from fabulous to "just don't give a shit", we were excited when they built one in Temple Terrace and at first it was great, clean, great staff, excellent food, I don't know what happened, we stopped going for a long time, one evening after I got off work, we decided to give it another whirl to see if maybe things had changed and I'm sorry to say it did not. I couldn't really get the spices/flavor compared to other places. The customer service was mediocre. It took 30 minutes to get my food and the server didn't check on me much. The worst thing. They sell wings in 6 ,12 or larger amounts. Usually most places allow you to mix and match flavors when it is at least 10 wings. I ordered 12 wings and asked for 2 flavors-Jerk and KBBQ. She said that the y can't do that and that I could only get 1 flavor. So I was forced to get two different order of 6 wings for $24 instead of $18 in order to try 2 different flavors. Lame. Even with that the Jerk Wings were not that different from the KBBQ flavor. The KBBQ was good,but I think even Wingstop has a spicier flavor profile. That takes it down from. 4 to 3 Star. Maybe their other entrees are better ,but I don't really recommend it solely for wings. read more

I loved how the restaurant looked on the inside. It reminded me of a bar due to the sheer amount of TV's, which were mostly showing sports, plastered all over the walls. It's definitely a more of a relaxed establishment, not a fine dining area. The waitress was very nice and accommodating. She gave us our drinks and utensils in a timely manner. It was a bit of a long wait for the rest of our food to come, however. We waited at least 15-20 minutes for our main course to come out. When it did, it was rather mediocre. My burger was VERY bland, so we're the fried shrimp. The garlic bread that came with my mom's Big Easy was like a rock. My mom made a nasty face at the pasta itself because of how plain it was. My dad had the Honey Bourbon Honey and Shrimp with Lime and Mash. His was more flavorful. I enjoyed the two appetizers we ordered; the calamari and the mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were nicely seasoned, and I loved the sauce, 5/5. The calamari could've been seasoned better, but was still good, 3.5/5. All in all, not that good. I was expecting much more flavor than what we got. I walked in expecting an explosion of flavor in my mouth, and walked out with disappointment. This is a low 3 stars. read more

We always like going to Millers Alehouse. Our group has a get together about every other month and they always accommodate us. The only problem I have is, I wonder how often they clean out the lines for their draft beers. The reason I ask is, every time we go there and get draft beer, my husband notices an unusual taste. And I end up with a headache. This is after having only 1 beer. I've heard that if the lines aren't cleaned out regularly, this could be the problem with both the taste and the headache. read more

It had been a while since we had been to Miller's Ale House. We find it a good place with a variety of options and plenty of TVs to watch sporting events as well. We started with the giant pretzel and hard a hard time deciding which dipping sauce we liked better - the cheese or mustard. Our vote was actually mixing the two together! For dinner, my husband, daughter, and her friend all enjoyed Mimi's Fiesta bowl featuring chicken and shrimp. All three of them enjoyed their choice. I went with the salmon special with shrimp. My daughter and I ate at this location again when we visited March 2023. It was fantastic. We sat on the covered patio. I already knew I wanted the homemade chips. At the time, I couldn't have leafy greens from the Cobb salad but wanted the blackened shrimp. No big deal! The chef was amazing. He made the shrimp and left out the greens. My daughter got the 35 fried shrimp with homemade chips. Our food was hot and delicious. I believe their shrimp is some of the best we've had. We could taste the blackened seasoning. Our server was very kind. She cleaned around our table before she brought out the food and always brought out fresh drinks when she noticed we were "about" to run low. We visited it again August 2023 with our entire family. Once again our food was delicious and the service was excellent. This location has become a must-visit when we go to Tampa. It had been a while since I visited millers. I had been wanting to go and we happened to be near one on our day out. We arrive and the restaurant was half empty. We were told it would be 10 minutes before we could be seated. Usually it's understandable because if they're not staffed the host can't help that. We figured we were waiting for a table to open up. The table we were sat at was open from the start, no one had left the restaurant while we waited. Waiting in the lobby with a hyper kid is just less desirable than seating us when the table you were going to seat us at anyways was open. Better to sit at a table while and wait for the waitress to get to us than in the lobby. I ordered the mountain melt. It used to be amazing. I remember it being very saucy, cheesy, full of bacon with amazing fries. That's not the experience I had. The fries were old and tasted like oil, pretty empty too. Very little cheese was on top and really only the sauce was on the tenders. I remember it being so much more. I just ate the tenders and that was it because the fries were just awful. Whenever I visit this miller, there is no one at the podium to seat people, and the service needs improvement as well. After ordering for a party of 3, 25 minutes later they inform me that my order was not available after 25 minutes of ordering, so I had to order something else. I don't normally like "Sports" bars/restaurants, but i was in the mood for a Cherry-Limeade cocktail and they make a great one, so 6 of my friends and I decided to meet up at Miller's last night. We were greeted warmly at the front desk, hostess asked for us to wait a moment while she got a table set up for us, in less than 2 minutes we were seated, and our waiter Nick came by to take our drink orders. He answered questions about their different drinks, made suggestions to one friend who is very picky...LOL. When our drinks arrived they were perfect even for my picky friend - thanks to the bar staff. Nick answered all kinds of questions about the menu, brought us a sample of the peach bbq sauce (which is good but too spicy for me). We all finally made our decisions, Nick checked on us while we were waiting on our food making sure we didn't need anything. Our food arrived in a very timely manner, and it was all correct! Kudos to the kitchen team. Nick again checked on us a few times, refilling drink orders, removing used plates. We had a wonderful time enjoying the company, the food and the atmosphere. We were in a party type mood and Miller's fit the bill perfectly. Nick helped make our evening even better, he was attentive without being intrusive, very personable and knowledgeable about the drink & food menus. The food was really good I had the chicken fajitas, and the flavor of the chicken was so good!!! Everyone else really enjoyed their meals. We had a wonderful time and as we were standing outside saying good-bye, we decided that this would have to be a monthly dinner spot for us. There must not be very many good places to eat in Tampa because this place was very meh. I ordered the prime rib on their Prime rib Thursday and it was only 17.99, which I thought was a great price. The outside of it was pretty good and then the inside was super dry. The service was also very slow.
