We needed a quick lunch after checking into our hotel. After some quick searching we picked this restaurant. The mozzarella sticks were great and the dipping sauce had a great flavor. Came here late at night, small little sports bar that had a bit of a wait to get into but they have really good drink specials. I ended up getting a bucket of high noons, which came decently priced. My waitress Chloe did a good job with service, I ended up getting an order of the wings Dave's way which she recommended. Good garlic Parmesan flavor with a bit of spice. I got all drums because that's just what I prefer. I also got a French dip sandwich which had a great flavor and good side of au jous which gave it a great smothered beefy flavor. The fries were decent but I would recommend getting the bacon cheesy fries to add a little more flavor. My favorite was the flounder sandwich a Tampa staple. The breading on the fish was crisp well seasoned and flavorful and kept the fish nice and tender. The tartar sauce was creamy with a hint of dill my personal favorite type of sauce and came with a side of potato salad which was also surprisingly good. We started with the egg roll appetizer my friend we got to the Philly cheesesteak wrap which I did not get a picture of and then I got the 10 wings Daves way with ranch. Our server was Mckenzie. Stopped by here tonight with my girlfriend and some friends while on vacation from Virginia. Busy night at the bar but to be expected for this kind of place in Tampa. We were seated pretty quickly so no complaints there. We got some wings, egg rolls and drinks and other items. The food overall was pretty average bar food and the wings were good but not anything out of this world. Biggest complaint was our waitress was very inattentive and non- personable. She didn't say please, thank you, or you're welcome about literally anything. When it got time for checks she was pointing at us couples without saying anything to signify how the checks were gonna be split or even mouthing anything. The blankest expression you could imagine which is very odd and completely out of character from other establishments we went to in Tampa. The bar was not even that loud where you couldn't hear each other. Biggest complaint was definitely the service. Didn't even tip 20% which was rare for us. First time at Hattricks after a Straz show after two friends recommended their wings. The wings did not disappoint and I had to try them two ways: Dave's Way which was Parmesan flavored and medium. I couldn't split a $20 order so wings so I had to order two sets of 10 wings, in the future I would just order 20 to split. The wings were amazing and I feel I would regret not getting them if I ordered something else next time. They are located next to the end of the line for the trolley that we rode from Ybor City. It was midday, but they were very busy. The hostess found us a table for two. We enjoyed glasses of Prosecco and Powerplay Pale Ale. We shared a plate of their smoked fish spread. The spread was good, especially topped with a little bit of hot sauce. The crackers served with the spread were several of the small packages of soda crackers that restaurants serve with soup. They were a bit crumbly. You definitely want to get here early if there's a game on. It was standing room only at one point but it was no big deal to hop on the waiting list for a table and stand by the bar with a drink while waiting. The boyfriend & I came here for wings. It was packed to the max with a line out the door, however, bar seating is first come, first serve. We were able to snag seats at the middle bar top which has kind of a weird unique set up. It's a very thin long table and you really can't sit across from each other because there's literally like no room but that's where we sat, we both ordered our own wings. He only likes the plain wings and he likes to ask for a side of whatever sauce he's feeling for the day, so that's great that they could do the sauces on the side. I like to get the lemon pepper retossed in garlic Parm that is my favorite wing sauce however it is very rich in sauce and it always makes me sleepy and that's when I know it's time to leave there and go take a nap lol. Great location, super close to the amphitheater where the lightning play. And it's only like a 10 minute walk if you wanna go catch a game or a show. Deals were too bad. Fifty cents off of wings and a few drink deals. It was packed since it was rated number one in Tampa for its wings. Otherwise you'll get your typical bar food. Nothing looked too special that caught my eye. One of the highlights is just how quickly food came out. From when I ordered to when it hit my tongue no more than ten minutes had passed. Quick and fast and hot. However... all the waitresses all seemed a little annoyed as if something happened and put all of them in bad moods. Went with the wings and got twenty half the Dave's Way which is their homemade lightning hot sauce that's shakes and baked and fried and retossed in garlic parmesan. That felt way too salty for me. I see their vision but was a bit much. The other ten was lemon pepper and that was cooked to perfection. The blue cheese they had was also super good! Just wished they gave me more than those small containers. Glad I came. Didn't break the bank with this visit. Happy hour helped. Wonderful spot to eat. This place is a spot for Tampa Bar Lightning games- hence the name Hat Tricks. Originally an Industrial Supply location Cameron and Barkley. A business opening before the Civil War and still in operation today. This is a great building. Apparently it maintains power during Hurricanes. So if you get into a jam. Keep them in mind. I loved my nachos and ate down to the plate. The service was amazing. All the waitstaff is awesome. They're running around all the time refilling drinks and serving food, and flipping tables.
