I first came to BeeQ Salon to get a facial with my boyfriend and we both left with a great experience. My skin hasn't felt that soft in a while. Camilla the owner who also did my facial recommended some products to use and I was pleased to see that they used organic products. I decided to come back to get lash extensions as I've heard great things about it from the last salon she worked at. It was my first time and I absolutely love it! I've gotten so many compliments so far. I have straight lashes so my lashes have never looked this good. As most of you would probably agree using fake lashes everyday is not that convenient plus they don't look as natural as lash extensions. So I would highly recommend it and get it at BeeQ with Camilla. She also has Xtreme lash products for sale at the salon so you can get it while you're there. Ok, I just moved from Minneapolis and I'm trying find all my new places and this is the one for my nails. The owner was so sweet and the ladies who were working were friendly, too. The selection of colors for my shellac mani was perfect - I've been places where they hand you a palette of 300+ colors and it's just difficult to make a decision. I moved here from CA back in April, and have only come to BeeQ. I like how it's removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown AA. There's always ample parking and I never have to worry about getting a pedicure and having to walk too far back to my car! All of the nail technicians Camila hires are very detailed and skillful. Brande and Hailey are awesome! Never have I had a shellac manicure last so long and look so good. Like polish-right-up-to-the-cuticle-no-nail-left-behind good. As far as the pedicure goes, the volcano package will make it feel like you have new feet. I don't think my feet have ever been so soft. The girls do a fantastic job there. I love that it's tucked away in that center and that the location is so convenient. This is my new go to spot for nails without a doubt. Updated: I decided to come here with my mom after reading the stellar reviews here on Yelp. However, my experience wasn't the best considering how expensive it was. Pro: clean salon, pedicure felt great Con: manager was rude, price of services, gel manicure is chipped after only a couple days In terms of the staff being rude to each other, this was not them speaking to each other or a language issue. The man that did my pedicure placed his supplies in the sink, then a blonde technician took the supplies and placed them next to him while he was doing my manicure (which was unprofessional & gross), he then got up and threw his supplies loudly back into the sink. I have never seen this happen in my years of getting my nails done and it clearly made a mark as I can remember this months later. read more

I have loved every service that I've gotten done at the BeeQ, W. Stadium location. I HIGHLY recommend Karynn. She spends time on my no-chip/shellac manicures and the service never feels rushed. I have been going to BeeQ regularly since August. I was not aware until my last visit that they have a program where customers can earn points based on $ spent at the salon and after accumulating a certain number of points/ spending a certain amount of $, get $10 off. I only found out after overhearing another customer asking about the touch screen located at the reception desk. Very frustrating. The service is good, great, or mediocre depending on who provides the service and how busy they happen to be with other customers at the time. The online booking is confusing and they know it. But, rather than following up with me to clarify the service I actually want, I just get told repeatedly that I booked the service wrong. The receptionist staff seems to change often. The people in that position often seem focused on everything other than their job. read more

Unfortunately, my 2 daughters and I did not have a good experience at Bee Q spa . We had 11am appointments. 2 of us got started and the 3rd nail technician never showed up. Another nail technician accommodated my 2nd daughter by polishing her nails, excusing herself from her own clients. I came here last week for eye lashes. First of all, it was really expensive. Basic one (about 60-70 lashes per eye according to them) for $195 before tips. I live in New York and the regular price for a pair of mink lashes is usually around 120-150 and you usually can get 110 lashes per eye. Ok fine different market and competition I get it. I will take it if they do a nice job. As what I remembered, the entire process takes about 1hr and 20min or so. I don't think they spent even an hour on both of my lashes. For those of you who do regular lashes you would know that after about a week, your lashes probably fall about 35-40%. And usually the effect last for about 2 weeks. It's been a week so far, I have seen maybe 75% of my lashes falling. Now I'm taking a picture at my desk to show you how much has just fall in the past 10min. I barely have any lashes on my left eye now. I gave 2 starts considering they had warm service and let us hang out there while waiting for friends. But the outcome worths 1 start the most. read more

On a whim I reached out through the Yelp app late at night to see if I could make a next day appt while I was in town in business. I had a response and appt time when I woke up in the morning - such a speedy response! They were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure with shellac removal and new shellac polish as well as a the basic manicure I requested. They had so many shellac colors - more than anywhere I've been. They didn't pressure for more services to upcharge me. Got a great shellac pedicure and basic manicure without polish for $65 - very reasonable! Wish I could give LESS THAN 1 STAR. I got acrylics with gel, paid over $50 and my nails chipped in less than a WEEK! There are STREAK patterns on my matte nails from the bad application of the top coat. Plus my pointer finger is not even following the direction of my natural nail!! I went in and saw Ashley, she was nice and I was excited to have found a potential "new nail lady". NEVER AGAIN will I go to this salon. I called to make an appointment today to fix my nails and I was told that I would have to PAY for my nails AGAIN with a discount. WHAT?! LOVED my ombré shellac mani & pedi with Britney!! It was absolutely beautiful and meticulously done. She did exactly what was in the picture I showed her. It lasted for over 2 weeks with ZERO chipping. I'm headed back soon. It's about a 35 minute drive from my house, but well worth it! I'm thinking about trying the eyelash extensions as well. I had a 4:15 appt for a shellac mani/herbal pedi, when I got there (right on time) the lady at the desk told me my tech wasn't there yet. I sat and waited for 10 min then she finally arrived and proceeded to spend another 5 min at the desk discussing other appointments while I sat 2 ft away waiting. When I got to the pedicure chair I let her know I had another appt to make it to after and wasn't happy about the almost 20 min delay. I then moved the subsequent appt so that she didn't rush and do a poor job, and told her within a few minutes of sitting down. Pedicure was okay, but now that it's the next day I can see she did a terrible job. On to the manicure, she broke one of my nails while filing them, pushed off the blame on them being too thin, and told me she could repair it for an extra $5...rather than have one significantly shorter nail, I agreed. She also pushed me to do gel on all my nails since I was doing one, and to choose another color to do so. I looked and didn't like any so I declined. I now realize it was probably to charge me more. Halfway thru my mani she says "OH! I was in such a hurry when I arrived that I didn't look at the computer to see that you had chosen the herbal pedicure and just gave you a normal one. The herbal is 20 min longer but I'll charge you less since you didn't get one". So, you stood at the computer for 5 min while I waited, didn't look at my info, then somehow realized this an hour later when you hadn't been back to look at the computer since? Makes perfect sense.
