I've swapped my old products to be put on a new regimen she specially made for my skin type. she's really good at this! not only has she healed and cared for my skin, my sister who suffers from cystic acne sees her as well. within a month, the improvements have been significant. her redness and inflamed acne has all subsided and is quickly on its way to healing.the morning and night regimen are so worth the time and money spent on trying and testing different store bought product. read more

Do not come here for mani or pedi! This is not at all a nail salon! I was in town for the weekend and booked manipedis for 5 people, spoke to Bicky on the phone who confirmed she could accommodate us. There are no pictures of the pedicure chairs on the website... because she doesn't have any! They do not sanitize between clients. 3 out of the 5 girls were bleeding on multiple digits. 3 people got pedicures only, 2 people got manicures only, we all left very unsatisfied. Fortunately, Bicky offered to not charge for the manicures as we had a hard time controlling the bleed. I would definitely not recommend a pedicure from here. First off, there are not the normal chairs with the foot baths, but rather you lay on a flat (waxing?) bed that props up, and a bowl of warm water is brought to you to soak your feet in. It was very uncomfortable and extremely awkward. Not to mention there is a camera pointed right at the chair (bed) that makes you feel like you are being watched. It wasn't a big deal for a pedicure, but I could only imagine how uncomfortable that would make me if I were getting anything waxed. The tech, I'm assuming she was the owner, did not remove any callouses or ridges in my nails. I left the place no different than when I went in - I easily could have gotten the same results doing it at home. I got a facial and nails done here and loved them! I felt and looked 5-10yrs younger after my facial! Bicky knows her stuff. I trust that she knows best for my skin, and I have HORRIBLE skin! Hands down, the best wax (Brazilian and underarm) money can buy. Clean, thorough, as painless as it gets. Also, whatever wax she uses leaves my skin clear and happy (other places use a wax that will redden the skin for a day or so, not the case with this one). Bicky is a godsend. Unfortunately updating my review. While I have always been pleased with the results of the eyebrow was, the past 2 times I have visited, the business was not open. At noon. Despite hours stating that they open at 11am. One time, I can brush it off. But twice is ridiculous. I'll have to find a new spa to get my brows done. read more

This place is the hands down best place to come for any service really and especially waxing and facials. This is her specialty and I find it hard to trust anyone else especially with bikini and Brazilian. This salon is super cozy and comfy. I've been coming here for almost 10 years and even though I don't live in Ann Arbor anymore I still come back here for waxing and facial services at least once a month. Bicky is very particular and always takes care of me like family. Whenever I come I also do my mani/pedi here and I've never had a problem. She's been in the business for 40+ years and she knows what she's doing and will give you her best recommendations and always do the best thing for you. read more

Bicky is really nice but the manicure she gave me was far from adequate. All she did was shave my nails a little bit and the shapes look sloppy and absolutely horrible. There were barely any color options. The color that I did pick was applied unevenly. Would not recommend for a manicure. I'm not sure about her other services. read more

HERE. You want to go HERE for EVERYTHING wax related. I usually do not post reviews, but Bicky and her excellent work deserves all the praises in this post and more. I've gone to three other places in Ann Arbor (on and off-campus) for a Brazilian wax, but I swear Bicky is the only one who really knows what shes's doing and has decades of expert experience that shows. She does an awesome time each time I've gone this past year because I've seen an incredible, noticeable difference from her work vs other places. (Possibly TMI, but hair grows back MUCH thinner and slower now because she gets the roots out every time. The importance of this is that other places have left me with a slight mess still going on down there and A LOT of ingrown hairs. But, leaving Bicky's, I'm always good to go and super happy.) The ambiance is calming and she's very easy to talk with, leading to an awesome overall experience, too. I also have to mention that I've been going to Ulta's for years to get my eyebrows done, and I've been moderately satisfied each time. (Hey, anything is better than bushy, right?) But, one time Bicky looked at me surprised and almost appalled at the shape of my eyebrows (they were kind of uneven from all the times at Ulta's, okay). She then offered to fix them-- and I have to say her shaping was perfect and extremely flattering to my face (can eyebrow shaping even do that??). Though Bicky did freehand wax instead of shading and drawing a map, she has such an eye for shaping and decades of experience with her technique that I trusted her completely. I don't know where to begin. First, I want to preface that this is my first yelp review but I swear by yelp and should write good reviews in addition to the bad. However, I was very compelled to bring out my frustration. I walked into Versaille for a "polish change" when I did not have any polish on my nails. Bicky explained she wasn't going to be able to do a good job if I didn't get a full manicure (though my nails were done at my usual place 1 week prior). So, I agreed to a mani. As Bicky began, she explained that my nails had left over shellac on them and needed to soak them in acetone for $10 extra. I explained that the shellac hadn't been on my nails for 6 weeks and wanted a normal mani without soak. She argued explaining the polish wouldn't stay and it would be a waste of money. I agreed to a soak. What I didn't agree to was having her take a nail file to the top of my nails, thinning them. She didn't even buff them until I asked for it. Then she applied nail polish. I could have done a better paint job with my non-dominant hand. Uneven polish on a sanded nail. I paid more than I've ever paid for a manicure, too. Needless to say, I will never go back. Side note: my usual place is 30 mins away... I will continue going there even in rush hour. read more

Don't ever go here! My cuticles are bleeding badly and there are scabs all along my nail beds plus my nails hurt from putting polish on top of the open wounds. The worst manicure i've ever had in my life stay away, this place should be closed down immediately. read more

Yes yes yes! I moved to Ann Arbor from Miami and was depressed to leave my wax specialist down there who I had scoured to find. I found Bicky through reviews and a drive by. She's amazing!!!! She is very knowledgeable about skin care and waxing and has a line of products that are terrific. I go for Brazilian waxing once a month and am thrilled with my results so far. I don't know how she does it, but her waxing techniques and supplies make the process basically PAINLESS! I've never experienced anything like it, and obviously it's great! She has good deals if you buy waxes in bulk and is always easy to book appointments with, fitting you in when it's convenient for you. She even came in on her day off to squeeze me in for a wax before I left on a trip!!! Maybe a bit pricier than other places but the quality shows and is worth every penny! Where do I start with this?? My experience getting a brazilian wax here was absolutely horrifying. Upon arriving at Versaille, I noticed the door was locked with all the lights off. I had to call to make sure my appointment was not forgotten about. She says she's running late and finally arrives a couple minutes later-no big deal. It's when I'm laying down for the treatment when the horrors begin. Several times throughout the session, the wax was scalding hot- I mentioned this to her and her 'attempt' to help was futile. At one point, she applied wax on me and then left because the phone rang! She also rips off the waxing papers very slowly resulting in having to wax the same area repeatedly. Additionally, there were MANY times that the wax got stuck on me and would not come off, even after multiple (painful!) attempts. As a woman with south asian hair, I can understand that maybe a brazilian wax may be a little more difficult but this was by far the most painful experience I have ever had- I was near tears at one point and not because I've never had a wax before. I had to interject multiple times to tell her that maybe the session should end early but she would not let that happen. And this was all while she kept telling me the pain was because I was 'too sensitive'. If all this wasn't bad enough, I went home only to find remnants of wax all over. I've never felt so strongly about a place to bother writing a yelp review but seriously beware this place. It is not worth the pain. read more
