I have to say their Logger was a perfect pairing to go with our pizza. Overall a pretty chill place to grab a quick and delicious meal. Maybe 12 people seated in the entire room. Took our seats... we were approached after 10 mins. Menus. Waited another 10 minutes. Bartender asks for our order. We ordered our food and he responded, "I wanted your drink order". Really?! Ordered four glasses of water and two apps. We asked for one app to be divided on two plates, bartender said "I'm not gonna do that. They're (kitchen) busy". We sucked down our food and water, asked for the check twice due to being on a time constraint. Dude never acknowledged. My husband finally stopped the bartender, asked for his name. "Brian/Bryan" while walking away. We left enough cash on the bar to cover our bill with a generous tip just so we could get out of there. Worse dining experience we've had an extremely long time. Bryan/Brian's attitude was nothing shy of being inconvenienced. Won't ever return!

Garlic parmesan and spicy carribean jerk didn't have much taste like their names We came here to grab dinner on Friday evening. It was somewhat busy but we got a table right away. The interior was pretty nice, had a giant bar at the back side and also a separate space with one billiard board and couple of shuffle boards. There were TVs all around playing the World Cup game. The AC was broken, so they had some air blowers pumping air. They were really a burger place with the menu having 50 different types of burgers. They had chili, salad and wings too. I ordered the 10 jumbo wings, which were roasted style with moist soft meat inside. I got the garlic parmesan and spicy Caribbean jerk sauces on the side, but none of tasted like their names. I really liked the Rueben burger. But the side of coleslaw was somewhat busy disappointing, was straight up lifeless cabbage thrown in a bowl, had no cream whatsoever. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that's how it was and nothing she could do about it. The truffle fries were much better quality side. The staff members all around were friendly. They all were suffering from the AC blowout too. The dishes came out in short intervals despite the place being busy. Overall it seemed to be a solid place to hangout and have burger and fries.

I scheduled a pick-up time about 90 minutes out, received a confirmation text and another when the order was ready, exactly on time! I also received an email with order details. Roma's Old Town is located in a Pedestrian zone. First GPS took us to a business nearby but we couldn't see this restaurant. GPS then re-routed us to the back entrance off an alley. We 'parked' (driver in vehicle) in a loading zone nearby (no parking here) and I ran in and grabbed our pizza. I'm sure if I lived here I'd know where to park. It's a very cute pedestrian area. Wish I had time to wander a bit. Back to pizza. This pie smells good! I built my own veggie pizza and it had a nice level of toppings and a mix of black and green olives I haven't seen before but very much enjoyed! The crust is chewy with just the right amount of crisp on the edges. All the flavors worked well together. An excellent pizza. We ate half for lunch in the Nat'l park and the other half for dinner at our hotel. It was wonderful both warm and cold.

She wanted me to take off work on that Tuesday and take a day trip to the panhandle of West Virginia & the Winchester, VA area. We did a bit of walking/hiking, a winery, & went to Roma's for dinner in old town Winchester. That day was unseasonably cool, and it was windy too. During Covid, we couldn't eat in the restaurant, and it was too cool & windy to eat outside. So, we ate in her car like animals. The mushroom pizza was delicious. Staff was nice, and the price was reasonable. It could've used a bit more cheese, but overall it was good. My worst complaint was not anything to do with the restaurant but the circumstance of Covid and maneuvering the big box in her car to eat, but we made do.

This supplier has South African craft beers in their portfolio (which is a rarity here,…read moreunfortunately), aside from everything else that they offer as well! Although I did not buy directly from this supplier myself yet (only indirectly through another business), I know that they are a great supplier! After months of looking for South African made craft beers without any luck, I finally found a few South African beers and this was the only supplier that had some, as far as I know. In the US and even in this area, it is very easy to find imported beers from England; Germany; Japan; Belgium; Iceland; and more... yet, it is very difficult to find South African craft beers. I say to myself, "why?" South Africa actually has a great craft beer scene going on, and it should not be overlooked! I hope to see South African craft beers being sold in more bottle shops, because they are great and they will not disappoint! I believe that South African beers will be a big hit among other craft beer enthusiasts, such as myself for example, and people who like imported beers. The South African beers that I bought come from a brewery called "Darling Brew" in and around Cape Town, South Africa. I bought their Slow Beer, which is a lager; their Bone Crusher, which is a German or Belgian style wheat beer; and their Black Mist, which is a black ale. So for anyone who is lacking South African beers in their portfolio, or for anyone who just wants to try a good hard-to-find beer, then order up! I hope to see even more variety of South African beers in the future. Cheers...!
