Our waitress Ava was the best, very friendly and she made awesome recommendation on food to eat, and liquid to drink. She had great knowledge of the brewery menu and made sure that our order was exact. We had wings as appetizer along with chicken focaccia and Nashville chicken sandwiches. Made a stop in after perusing the Old Winchester outdoor mall area and the library up the street. Vibrissa is just around the corner from everything. They have a nice outdoor hangout spot and it's welcoming and spacious inside. Their artwork is Appalachian Trail inspired. I sure do miss the last chef. The food is so mediocre now that the prices do not make sense. $5 for wet, crumbled, unseasoned tofu.. not even salt was added! To call that tofu scramble is a full on scam, a whole block of tofu is only $2 at the store, they did absolutely nothing to it besides crumble and warm it. I was expecting kala namak(black salt) for eggy flavor, nutritional yeast, onion and garlic powder, salt and pepper at least if not some chopped onion, tomato, bell pepper, like ANYTHING! The food used to be so good. Sad to see this place as not an option anymore when it's only a 2 minute walk from home. The home fries didn't even taste seasoned. It was delicious, the chicken was juicy, the sauce complimented the meat and the homemade focaccia was the icing on the cake. My husband tried a some of the on tap beer and was very pleased. Our server Aubrey was very friendly, gave us delicious food recommendations and was very attentive throughout our entire meal. Stopped by for a quick beer before heading back to DC. This is such a great spot in the heart of Winchester. It has an impressive amount of space and options for seating. Whether you want to sit outside with your pup by the fire pit, on a couch cozying up to your date, at a high top or at the bar, there's something for everyone! They have a wide array of drink options from beer to cocktails to nonalcoholic drinks. They have food - which we'd love to try on another trip. They also have a coffee shop inside! There was some sort of event going on while we were there and looked to be catered. They've got tons of cute merch too! They were busy when we were there so it took a little bit to get someone's attention at the bar but then we realized there were QR codes at the tables outside after the fact. This is a great brewery/restaurant with actually good beer and food. It's well managed and service is great! The Scout stout was delicious as were several of the others I sampled. Don't miss the sours! Food is burgers, pizza, sandwiches, etc with a good assortment of appetizers and choices. I enjoyed a well balanced Reuben sandwich and my girl had the burger Royale. Burger was excellent and the sweet potato fries are fantastic! Ambience is nice although it can be loud. Cozy seating and lots of outdoor seating too. We will be back! Came here for the first time and had a really great experience. The food was fresh and flavorful, and everything came out quickly. Jeshua was friendly and welcoming which made it even better. Mine were simply julliened, the sweet and slightly spicy pork belly would have been top notch with just a hit of acid from pickling. I'm really not sure what makes a Brewpub / Coffee House a 4 or 5 star, but I know good beer and good coffee. This morning the wife and I checked out Doppio Bunny at this location. JEREMY was awesome. Kind, professional, engaging--and made us a couple marvelous coffee and tea beverages, respectively. Outstanding experience, as our 25-year-old daughter had already raved--and really why we checked it out. Oh, almost forgot--the "homemade" Blueberry muffin was A-MAZ-ING too! We had a nice lunch at Vibressa. They have a huge outdoor patio with a fire pit for colder days and gazebos to provide shade on warmer days. The beer is decent (we tried the wit beer and the one that won an award). We also got the pizza special. The dough was nice and thin but the sauce was way too salty. So I'd give the food 3 stars but the ambiance and beer 4 stars. read more

I love this place. You almost choose how you want your experience to go. You can order completely from your phone and have it delivered - including alcohol. Or you can be waited on at a table or bar. The courtyard is very popular and sometimes hard to get seating in but the inside is perfectly fine. Lots of TVs to catch the game and the beer is amazing. Great spot. Very good beer and outstanding service. A well curated selection of beers. They never seem to have more than a dozen, and the rotating selections are largely seasonal with a few "evergreen" selections as well. Last time we went we enjoyed the Polo (Czech Amber), the Feierbier (Festbier), the In the Cut (Kellerbier), and the Sundial (Wheat Beer). All were extremely tasty and crisp. The Polo and the Sundial in particular were noteworthy, damn fine beers. I've seen Vibrissa sold in Northern Virginia stores, and for good reason. The food is largely what you'd expect from a brewery (burgers, wings, pizzas) BUT with a few more diverse offerings tossed in as well. Last time we went they also had a few Oktoberfest items. We always go with the Braushaus Tots, the homemade beer cheese will take a year off your life...but it's worth it. What makes Vibrissa "repeatable" though is the service, which is exceptional; the crew is extremely polite, attentive, and knowledgeable. The crew also seems to be tight with the community; they were hosting a local fundraiser for a senior living facility the last time we went. Love to see that. read more

Just had supper at this delightful establishment! We're passing through Winchester on our way to NYC, and went looking for a local brewery with a kitchen. We could not have done better! We each did flights, and each sample was delicious. We ordered the Voodoo Shrimp, and OMG! And the Hot Honey Pizza was perfect. The ambience was very laid back (Sunday evening, perhaps), and the wait staff was superb-friendly, helpful and very cordial. If we lived nearby this would be a regular stop for us. read more
