We've been coming out on Tuesday trivia nights. Vibrissa has a great vibe. When weather's nice they have a great front lawn area for outdoor seating or conversing. The inside is very open and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Our servers have always been very nice and helpful. The food is fine for a brewery. Nothing going to blow you away but definitely step above other bar food in the area. You should join us on trivia nights. They're a lot of fun and you always have a chance to win some prizes!

Above and beyond, the best brewery in Winchester! Vibrissa is the place to go for good vibes, solid beer and tasty food. I've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. The servers are always top notch and extremely personable. I usually get the Smash burger and it never disappoints. The location has a style and vibe that no other brewery in the area can match.

The Death by Chocolate is a unique and special beer. Like drinking dessert. Not too sweet. Not bitter like standard stouts. We love this place every time we go. The nachos are a hit and my "non-sourdough" wife loves the sour dough pizza crust and sandwiches.

Local brewery with a great menu. Great space located in the former Winchester Star newspaper space with amble outdoor seating as well. Delicious pizza! Sourdough pizza crust is next level. So good. Friendly service too.

The food was amazing! They have a variety of options to choose from and they were all delicious. The staff was attentive. It was on the pricey side and louder because we went in the evening but it was great!

The beers were excellent. Great atmosphere and very dog friendly. The pups had a fun time playing in the patio area. Loved the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. We will return to try other beers and food.

Garlic parmesan and spicy carribean jerk didn't have much taste like their names We came here to grab dinner on Friday evening. It was somewhat busy but we got a table right away. The interior was pretty nice, had a giant bar at the back side and also a separate space with one billiard board and couple of shuffle boards. There were TVs all around playing the World Cup game. The AC was broken, so they had some air blowers pumping air. They were really a burger place with the menu having 50 different types of burgers. They had chili, salad and wings too. I ordered the 10 jumbo wings, which were roasted style with moist soft meat inside. I got the garlic parmesan and spicy Caribbean jerk sauces on the side, but none of tasted like their names. I really liked the Rueben burger. But the side of coleslaw was somewhat busy disappointing, was straight up lifeless cabbage thrown in a bowl, had no cream whatsoever. When I asked the waitress about it, she said that's how it was and nothing she could do about it. The truffle fries were much better quality side. The staff members all around were friendly. They all were suffering from the AC blowout too. The dishes came out in short intervals despite the place being busy. Overall it seemed to be a solid place to hangout and have burger and fries.

Not sure who would really be sitting out there.. All the beer at Escutcheon is drinkable, crushable and reasonably price for $6-7 a pint. And, the beer here is true to style.  No extra flavors, just good beer by the numbers. Brian was our beertender and he was great.  Thanks Brian, your sense of humor and knowledge of the beer as well as nautical terms made our night way better.  The brewers name is John and he brews clean flavors.  It is comforting when the beers taste like what they are. The BEER: Growler Kolsch 4.5% ABV... crisp and refreshing Fancy Clancy Pilsner 4.5% ABV... a light Pilsner for those Miller or Bud fans Maggie's Cream Ale 4.5% ABV... reminds me of Genesee Cream Ale, really drinkable Agonic Line Lager 5% ABV... APAs are not my palet, but this one was pretty good Plimsoll IPA 6.5% ABV... FIRE!!! This is delicious Slip Angle New England IPA 7% ABV... says its a NEIPA, but has the flavor profile of a west coast IPA Habermehels Oktoberfest lager 6.5 ABV... liked this One alot Annealed Coffee Stout 6.5% ABV... smells like coffee, tastes like coffee, give me some bacon and I've got breakfast For my first experience here, I was very impressed.  None of the ABVs were ridiculously high and the beers were true to their styles.  For me that was very comforting.  I am finding that here in Winchester, a night of beer drinking is Uber Affordable.  And Escutcheon is not the exception, but the rule.  If you want great beer at even greater affordability, Escutcheon is the place to visit.  I will be returning soon.

Deep rich color, clean broth, and not full of salt that is common in many restaurants. As one who makes French Onion soup from scratch and has sampled French onion soup in dozens of restaurants over many years, I would place this in the top 5. The cod was really special. Unusually very large pieces that were not drenched in a ton of batter. The result was a fresh, flaky texture and taste. The portions were such that we had leftover cod the next day. The fresh cut fries were a bonus that puts the Union Jack fries far above the typical institution, pre-made version found in most restaurants.

It wasn't crazy busy there but the bartender had a little edge to her like we were more on an annoyance than a patron. They have a refill club where you can buy a mug and get your name printed on it with discounted refills. Again I appreciate that kind of thing, but the bartender seemed way more interested in some of the regulars than us. Just the vibe she gave off that night I guess. And lastly the beer...it's solid. Not great, but solid. Lots of darker beers which is fine for me personally, but the darks outnumbered the IPAs, pilsners, etc the night we were there. I'd expect a little more variety.
